  • O Amor Eterno

    1. O Amor Eterno

    Chinese Drama - 2017, 24 episodes

    10

I’ve rewatched this drama the most. 3x by last count andalso rewatched their bts and clips and YT. This is my standard for chemistry when I watch new dramas. If I don’t feel the same chemistry as in TEL, my opinion of that drama will definitely be lower than 10/10. Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie’s chemistry is proven that they now have 4 dramas together. I don’t know of any other current Chinese pairing that had this much dramas together.

  • Amor melhor que Imortalidade

    2. Amor melhor que Imortalidade

    Chinese Drama - 2019, 40 episodes

    10

This drama has a close fight with TEL in terms of chemistry. Zhao Lusi and Li Hongyi’s chemistry, though more “teen-like”, is the most impactful one compared to Zhao Lusi’s other leading men. But of course Xing Zhao Lin and Jiang Lie has a more “mature” chemistry. Lusi and Hongyi’s BTS is as enjoyable to watch as the actual drama. Their chemistry off screen is as strong as their chemistry on screen. I want them to be paired in more dramas! Their Prodigy Healer drama had bad script so their chemistry was wasted.

  • O Amor Eterno 2

    3. O Amor Eterno 2

    Chinese Drama - 2018, 30 episodes

    10

Of course Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie’s chemistry is still as strong as ever. But also credits to the writer because he/she was able to make a unique and interesting story for season 2 by mixing main elements from S1 and adding hefty dose of new conflicts for S2. Love it also that they got more budget for the production given the runaway hit S1.

  • Amor entre Fada e Demônio

    4. Amor entre Fada e Demônio

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 36 episodes

    10

This is possibly the best xianxia I’ve ever scene because it’s just 36 episodes, plot is very direct to the point, no unnecessary side plots, and the chemistry is really good on and off screen.

  • Três Vidas, Três Mundos, O livro de Travesseiros

    5. Três Vidas, Três Mundos, O livro de Travesseiros

    Chinese Drama - 2020, 56 episodes

    8.5

My 4th favorite Chinese OTP of all time, Dilraba and Vengo. They’re visually compatible (height and face value) and their chemistry is so refreshing! Not as intense as XZL and LJ or ZLS and LHY, but it’s getting there. I also love their BTS because they interact with ease. I liked their chemistry more than the actors in TMPB drama.

  • A História de Ming Lan

    6. A História de Ming Lan

    Chinese Drama - 2018, 78 episodes

    9.5

Only a few pairings can pull off realistic chemistry on screen, and Zanilia Zhao and William Feng actually did. So much chemistry that they even got married in real life! Also kudos to the writer for making a story with side characters that are as colorful as the Minglan. You’ll really care for all of the characters and how they grew in the story. It’s a good rewatch but I haven’t because it’s very long.
