Shows I've Watched Ranked
So.... this is probably an ever-changing ranking that I won't edit too much, but I wanted to do a soft ranking of the shows I've watched thus far! If you look at my actual star rankings for each series, they're always like 9 or 10, but that's because I genuinely find myself so enamored by each story! I'm a simple egg, and it doesn't take too much to capture me, but I'll try to be very serious about my ranking here LOL. But again, I'm truly not bothered by much in shows, so I probably will just gush over each one.
I'll probably edit this every once in awhile, and I'll do real reviews of this with updated rankings at some point, too!

1. Bad Buddy
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
When I was thinking of a ranking, I really didn't know where this would fall, but I just??? Loved this show so much. Nanon and Ohm, as well as the side love of Pa and Ink and the friendship blossoming between Wai and Korn, were just so amazing... I think where I was slightly lost was just the fact they had to hide their relationship after they "broke up"... but I cried and if you know me (or even if you don't, here I am telling you), crying means it's the best thing ever. I remember watching the second to last episode and being like this vacation is so cute, but like obviously it'll end soon..... and then they go home and I'm like... OK..... AND THEN THE PREVIEW FOR NEXT EP IS LIKE THEM CRYING ABOUT BREAKING UP.... AND THEN HAVING TOS EE EACH OTHER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS.... LIKE????? AHSJDHSAKJDAS,... actually sobbed my fucking eyes out. And when it was revealed to be a whole plot thing and they actually secretly dated.... OK. I was OK again, but I was like.... completely drained emotionally during the last 2 episodes LOL. ALSO THE GUN PLOTLINE???? I WAS SO DKAFJSDHSKJACAS... I DIDN'T EXPECT IT... thankfully, it was only one ep but... still.
I also think Ohm and Nanon's chemistry throughout the show kept me like fully on board with them over anything else. Sometimes, I kinda fall into the side stories, but not in this one! I was focusing on them and them only.
Fuck the parents btw (even though they give their own silent nods of approval at the end of last episode, it's not enough) and kinda fuck Pran's friends for like... being shitty a lot KJFDAHDKJA.... BUT it all ended up OK for our main duo!

2. Love Storm
Thai Drama - 2022, 13 episodes
Maybe this is recency bias, but I think I was also just obsessed with this show while I was watching it more than any other. I constantly wanted to show people clips of things that happened, and I was so drawn into my nightly watching sessions of it! It wasn't dark, but it was definitely one the shows with darker storylines that I've watched. Both finale episodes of the couples (episode 7 + 13) were SO tense and dark.... like... whew.... Definitely was more captured by Payu/Rain overall, but I think that's just because I needed more from Pai/Sky's bit... like Sky's backstory was so twisted and sad, and I wish we got more of it and seeing the healing process more or smth. Oh, and don't even talk to me about the breakup between Sky/Pai at that one point... I wanted to die.
If anything's holding me back from this being #1, it's just that I wanted more of each plotline. Like I coulda done a whole 2 part series of this show, 13 episodes focusing on each couple because I woulda ate that shit up so bad. Like imagine more time to see our antagonists antagonize! They were so scummy, and I wish we got to see more of it... like Gun, in the second half, was literally the worst, but I wanted to see MORE of him being the worst because it was all shoved into the last episode.
Boss was outstanding in this, for me, but I think all the main characters were such shining stars. Like I truly was so meh about Pai for the first half of this show, and even going into his part... but by the time we get to sick Sky... I was like... Pai is ... everything. OH, AND THAT FUCKING NOTEBOOK SCENE?? WHERE PAI IS READING THE NOTEBOOK... ABSOLUTE TEARS!!! OUT OF MY EYES.

3. Only Friends
Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
It had its flaws, sure, and there were parts where I hated each character or got mad at them for stupid decisions, but that's kinda something I expect from all TV shows! I think what made me enjoy this is that despite their flaws, I ultimately felt good about each character. I, in fact, wanted more from Cheum and April so bad, but I understand this was to focus on the men and I loved each of the men so!
ForceBook in these roles was so nice because I didn't love either of them, but I do now. We saw a much more toxic Force and a complete bad boy switch in Book... like it was NUTS. They're so cute together tho! It had ups and downs, and I will NEVER forget the reveal of the audio clip when Mew took him back to his apartment.. THAT WAS INSANE!! I am happy that things didn't go south at the end because I do think that their relationship didn't have to be completely fucked because of that one ish, even tho I did root against them getting back together at first and hated all the sneaking around from Boston/Top, I'm glad they came back.
I liked seeing more of Neo and loved getting to know Mark! I honestly wished to see Nick and Dan together at the end, but I knew I was never going to get that here. Boston was an absolutely amazing character to hate, and Nick was just so nice. Also, it was so funny seeing Neo play a role like this here because my only experience with him thus far was as the brother in Fish Upon The Sky.
Now... KhaoFirst... obsessed with this duo tbh. All the ups and downs of their relationship made my heart explode, but it was OK, because they were still just my faves. Sobbed in the episode where Ray is crying to the lady, and he's picturing Sand.... like OK, kill me HARDER.
Boeing was a MAN, but his inclusion gave me anxiety<3 LMFAOO. I just think him meddling in all the relationships, I had HIVES. But loved seeing him on the screen LOL.

4. Still 2gether
Thai Special - 2020, 5 episodes
Sobs! Sobs sobs sobs! TBH, this could be #1 for me... like it left such an imprint on me, and I loved it so much, but it was TOO SHORT! So... it can't be my #1.
Seeing Tine and Sarawat's relationship FINALLY just be a relationship was amazing, and did I sob throughout the entire scene where Tine was crying at the pool? Yes. Mind your business! I just think this half of the series was perfect, and I truly can't wait to eventually do a rewatch after I've conquered some of the 100 shows I've added to my watchlist.

5. Crush Secreto em Você
Thai Drama - 2022, 14 episodes
This is such a weird one for me not to have higher because I definitely loved this show a lot, but... the obsessive stuff definitely keeps me from ranking this higher. Now... did it... kinda work for when Billy's character finds all the stuff? Yes, because I genuinely sobbed through most of that scene even though it ended all good... but some of the earliest collection moments of the show made me cringe so bad KJFHAKJ....
UMMM... the biggest plus and what keeps this at a 10 for me is definitely the characters overall. Like ignoring the collecting stuff, our main friend group and then the "cool kids" were all just amazing characters, and I just loved every second they were on my screen. Even if it was just them hanging out, I was like.... OK, yes. So I can kinda push aside the cringe because the rest of it all was amazing.
OH, I HAAAVVEE TO ADD... Surprise's character, Khaojao, was easily my favorite character from this whole thing. Like him and Sky were my entire heart, even despite how long it took for Khaojao to open up his heart KJFHDAJK....

6. A Boss and a Babe
Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
SO good. So good! The relationship between the mains at times were weird, mainly on Cher's character, but I loved seeing it blossom tbh! It was really just something I enjoyed so much, and I hated the fact that I started watching this before it was finished because then I had to wait a week for each episode KJFHAKJ... it made me realize I just gotta wait till a series finishes, no matter how much I wanna watch it (and when I do it again for Only Friends??? What then.).

7. The Circumstances of Pungdeok Villa Room 304
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Truly the thing that keeps me loving this show is its intimate moments. The chemistry between our leads just jumped off the page, and given I've watched Korean and Thai by now, most of the time, the Korean shows were just too limited with their timeframes because it's like 10 episodes all under 30 minutes, while each Thai show I've watched is like minimum 40 minute episodes.... BUT this show didn't fall even with that restrictive timeframe. I know our leads have built a bond by the time this show came around, but it was SO apparent and I loved every second of their scenes together.

8. 2gether A Série
Thai Drama - 2020, 13 episodes
Part of me wants to rank this one higher because I truly did love this show, and it did bring me into the world of Thai BLs, but I definitely think the one thing holding this back is how in denial Tine is half the time... it was just annoying at points! But that's OK because part 2 of this definitely just made this still one I'd come back to for sure, just to see their love blossom all over again.
Oh, I also just had such a gripe with Green in this series. It was like TOO much at times.
-
9. Pescar no Céu
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
THE ONLY thing holding this back from a full on 10 was some cringy as fuck lines (like some of the things Mork said just were so cringe... poor Pond having to say some of them LOL)... our two leads and Mix were just such a highlight with their chemistry, and then I even loved our lil' side love story with Duean and Meen (and finding out Meen and Mork were brothers DKFHDAKJD like I did NOT see that coming tbh).

10. Jun and Jun
Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
I was on an anime kick again for awhile, so this took a little bit of time to get through, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!! I really loved the lead couple a lot, and I think even the side love energy going on (with Jun's manager and his old idol friend) was really nice! TBH, I feel like had this been given the Thai BL treatment with longer episodes/more episodes, this woulda been a 10/10 for me because it woulda definitely had more love scenes (outside of the last episode) and built more upon the characters' stories!
Like, I reaaaally wanted to see more of Hyunjae/Simeon, and I wanted to see more of all the office workers tbh! I wanted more of idol life from Jun's past... some of Jun and Jun's childhood... some more explanation/scenes with Kim Young! Like I really loved this show, and I just wanted more, because I know more was what I needed for this to be a perfect show! I really fell in love with the lead duo, and I think they were sooo cute and just generally felt the good chemsitry, but I think more time letting them cook woulda been perfection! And again, I think Hyunjae and Simeon DEFINITELY had more ish there...

11. Moonlight Chicken
Thai Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
Truly nothing wrong with this show, and I love Mix at the front and center with Khaotung as a pretty recurring character, but I definitely think my love for this show MOSTLY comes from the first episode and last episode for the main love interests (because, for most of the middle, it's just Mix's character pining for Earth's and Earth being more or less... complacent with denying it)....
Where my TRUE love for this show comes about is Fourth and Gemini... because holy fuck is THAT storyline the best. Earth's character denying it made me hate him for an episode, but I was ultimately just... so happy with this show by the end mainly for Fourth and Gemini's characters.

12. TharnType: A série
Thai Drama - 2019, 12 episodes
I feel weird about this one! The first bit, I was so uncomfortable with a lot of the homophobic things that Type did (I found a lot of comedic, but it was still so weird) and the kinda... r*pey? tendencies of Tharn early on... even the shower scene, I was like... uhhhh.... how is THIS going to be the thing that leads them together?
But, I did eventually really fall into the (toxic) love of Tharn and Type, and I really fell in love with their acting. Like they were great actors, and I just loved both of them. The toxicity was heavy as fuck tho, and I do wish there was more peace between the lead couple rather than turmoil every second. It made me a bit anxious watching it. Unfortunately, the other characters I enjoyed, Tharn and Type's roommates, were barely characters, and we were forced into watching Tar and San try to scare away Type. OH, and I almost forgot about the girl that Type goes out with... like I know it was the factor that lead them together, but it was weird!
Speaking of Tar, I do feel bad by the end knowing what went down, but during the series until that point, he was not a very enjoyable character to me, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. Of course I had sympathy once everything was revealed, but I just... he was an obstacle before that.
And then there's Lhong. Fuck that guy! When he was first teased as the evil guy in the second to last episode, I was a bit gagged! Not because it's the most out of left field choice, but I just did not expect it KJFHAKJDA... BUT ! God dam, what a despicable fucking guy. I have no sympathy for him.
UM, yeah, I mean good show! I know I complained a lot, but if I'm like coming back for more every night/every time I watch TV, I tend to think it's a good show. I'm just very !!!! Like I was concerned how I was enjoying it most times KJFHAJK..

13. Erro Semântico
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
I watched this show in like.... a 24 hour span? So I definitely think I need to rewatch it eventually, but I really loved it! The leads were great, the side characters were great... that dart scene was the start of something REALLY nice... I just think it's not something I'm like !!!!! about. Did I sob a little bit during the final few episodes, though? For sure. And that's always a boost in love for me because if a show can make me cry, that means I have SOME attachment to it.

14. Admirador Secreto
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
There was nothing wrong with this show at all, tbh, but for the first like... half of the season, I just wasn't sold on our leads as our leads... like I wanted Tim and Kimhan to end up together until we got to the later episodes of the season LOL. This was the first time I was a full-supporter of a love triangle, but I lost out in the end... I did fall in love with Kim and Mek's relationship, but we barely got a ton of time for it, so it was sad... especially the break-up in episode 10... like I literally sobbed... which definitely made me realize how much I felt for the main couple LOL. My favorite couple was definitely Lee and Park despite the cheating overthinking ish that went on with them (twice.), but I also loved Bomb and Bear because they were so cute... Q and Dao were also amazing sister/BL supporters LMFAOO, and I loved the chancellor, too. I HATED Mai, tbh... I know we were supposed to feel bad that Tim took advantage of their friendship but JKFAHJKDA HE WAS SOO ANNOYING!! Gosh. Yeah, this was still a good watch imo!

15. One Piece
Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
As someone who has never watched the anime or read the manga, I was kinda going in blind, and sometimes I would look up certain character names just to kinda place them a bit more, but I enjoyed this! Obviously, it's not my typical BL wheelhouse, but I saw so many people talking about this, I had to make time to watch it! I'm glad I did because I definitely enjoyed it, and I really liked the main cast and all the insane side characters.
Some of my enjoyment was taken away by the constant repetitive "My name is Monkey D. Luffy and I'm going to be king of the pirates." Like I fr hated that shit by the 20th time he said it and it felt like it was hard to feel anything for him because he felt one dimensional at points, but, ultimately, it didn't deter too much for me falling in love with the cast by the arc with the butler cat pirates! I really think by then I was hooked, and I loved everyone and felt so invested in it! I also really liked the Nami bits at the end because I'm used to women in anime kinda having a bad repoire, but she was a nice, complex character, and I loved it! Zoro and Sanji and the lil' moments of dynamic we saw between them were definitely my favorite characters/interactions! I'm excited for hopefully more in the future of the live action, and I maaaayyy even check out the anime now!

16. The New Employee
Korean Drama - 2022, 7 episodes
Honestly, nothing wrong with this show for me! It was definitely the most simplistic of the shows I've watched, but I just wasn't left with much of a post-season impression of it! If I never watch it again, that's OK! But I definitely enjoyed it a lot!
I also didn't realize until like... 2 episodes in... but I had read the story version of this and I think I just thought it adapted it well!

17. Even Sun Series
Thai Drama - 2022, 6 episodes
Of all the shows I've watched, this one is the one that took me the longest. I did kinda lose my flow with dramas and went back to animes, but I made it my mission to finish this before getting involved in something new. Unfortunately, the biggest issue I had with this show is that I wasn't really drawn to the main story of it. I think part of my issue was the actual love aspect I came for was like... not in the majority of the show. Episode 5 is when stuff starts finally peaking its head, which would've been OK in a normal length show, but this was... only 6 episodes? So. Yeah. You see my problem! I liked the cast and I know the main duo has done something else together (which I'll watch eventually), but I'll be honest, what I really want is a show from our lovely boxer duo. Mangkorn and Ashing were so fucking cute, and I wanted more scenes of THEM, but they got like... minutes per episode and we mostly were forced to watch silly, goofy debt collecting bits.
