Favorite Queer Dramas

i don't think a series has ever made me feel so many things as this one did. it's absolutely stunning. a very realistic coming-of-age story with all sorts of emotions present. bkpp really killed it with this one! their acting is just outstanding. every little action and facial expression matters, and they really worked hard for it to show how much the characters care for one another.

this is objectively gmmtv's best bl drama to date, we'll see how long it stands at the top now that it's got series like bad buddy clawing for the first place. still, atots really made history. * chef's kiss *

for fans of cute humor filled stories, an absolue gem.

this series just really did what it had to do for me, it's a thrilling drama with darker and more mature themes than most other bls, really well acted and beautifully filmes (the quality of this series is crazy). it's a nice change if you ever feel like you're drowning in stories about university students (even though those contain some of my absolute faves, it's fun to see the genre broaden. it's good to make it know we'll be interested in stories no matter if they're lighter or darker.)

i don't care what you say, i loved it. i'm a huge fan of yinwar, and this. wow. it worked very well for such a short running time. it didn't feel inconclusive anywhere to me (unlike en of love - luckily we're getting a longer version of love mechanics). and the ending was "satisfying". idk i liked it, even tho i also really hated it. cry cry cryy!

probably biased cus this show found me at a (for me) bad time, and it made my life a litte better at the time of its airing. jafirst's chemistry just made me like that. but i did enjoy the fact that it's a lot less toxic than their relationship was in ttts2. it's a good standalone. just skip the prequel and sequel special episodes imo, saying this as a huge jafirst fan haaah

this series was so fun to follow during its airing time. it's a really well made drama that critiques the industry it's made in, and i really enjoy that aspect. The acting is also fenomenal.

this is a indeed very dark series at times, but it's absolutely beautiful. i've watched it multiple times now and it never ceases to surprise me with all its twists and turns. (i wait a few months between rewatches to try and forget the big reveals and stuff, and it's worked thus far haha). the plot and acting are both outstanding and don't get me started on the soundtrack. i don't think many series' ost's can make me feel the things i do when i hear them, this series is one of those. (ALL) the songs have this very specific mellow feel to them that really makes the experience of watching this show an amazing experience.

another darker story, this one more on the mystery side. it's very intriguing and will always keep you on edge. everyone is suspicious, and i mean EVERYONE, even the main character himself, if you ask me.

wbl is probably my favorite taiwanese drama, the chemistry between the leads is undeniable and the story is fresh. both the first and second season are series i love rewatching from time to time as it's nice short and concise. it's also a super well-made enemies-to-lovers imo. there's just something about this drama that sticks out. 

we all know how most korean dramas are made, but damn this one was such a positive sursprise! i love how realistic it is, and also how it will keep you guessing all the way to the end. there's something about that that just i really enjoyed. 

this is such a fun and lighthearted show! it's a really nice way to disconnect from the seriousness of life and other series. i've watched this in school with friends when we're stressed and it never stops being as hilarious as it was the first time.
