K-Dramas & Movies | All Time Favs That One Must Watch
Sharing a list of my favorite K-Dramas & Movies over the years. They are here cause they might have been what catapulted me into this Drama-land and ones that I usually would recommend to people, if they ask how to navigate their way in K-dramas and cinema.
While this is purely my opinion, would love to know from those who see this list - what your thoughts are!

1. Rainha Cheorin
Korean Drama - 2020, 20 episodes
This is as close to perfection, as it could be. This drama has it all - the comedy, the suspense, the drama, the romance, the action, the enemies-to-lover, the history and so much more.
Can't say enough - watch it to believe it! -
2. Move to Heaven
Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
The premise can be upsetting for someone as it deals with a heavy topic - hence I have put it a little below in my list, but rating wise - this is a 10/10 drama for me. The drama is wholesome i n the messaging, the acting, the pace, the suspense and cliffhanger- all in the right amount to take you on a rollercoaster of emotions and leave you smiling!

3. Youngest Son of a Conglomerate
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
Another one that is near perfect drama!
Near perfect - cause for the mystery, time-travel, conglomerate family drama, revenge and amazing acting by all - but especially Lee Sung Min and Song Joong-ki. The only downer was the forced romance, writers really need to re-think this concept that every drama needs romance to do well. And probably it was not the intent - but as someone who is interested not just in K-dramas and music, but I also am keen to know how Korea developed over the years - this drama gives a really good insight on that.

4. Sinal
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

5. Horas de Princesa
Korean Drama - 2006, 24 episodes
If you are a sucker for Rich Man/Poor Women or Cinderella style story, I think this is one of the OGs that you should watch. Even now, I cannot see the actors in this drama anything other than the role they played - they were so good. And this is when the actors here are all popular artists that you will see in many others. That's how good it was, and again - a little dated, but remains a classic/OG initiation to K-dramas.
Till date, for times I feel like re-watching old shows as a mood-lifter, this is one of my go-to dramas - cause of the main leads and their naive but innocent love. And if you think waiting for kissing in K-dramas are a test of patience, wait till you watch this one. But it will be worth it!

6. Amanhã
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

7. Old Boy
Korean Movie - 2003
One of the best plot twists ever - including all language movies/dramas that I have seen since birth (or rather when I had the understanding). The noir direction/format may not be to everyone's liking - but believe me you'll get past it and love the story. The villain actor is one of my favorite grey characters - mad respect for the character and the actor who played the role to perfection.

8. Meninos Antes de Flores
Korean Drama - 2009, 25 episodes
This is a classic - this is what made me fall in love with K-dramas and Korea! And ofc, LEe Min Ho ❤️ Overtime, the ranking of the show and my love towards it has gone a bit low - as I discovered new dramas/plots - but this one is special as this was my first K-Drama (technically). One of those dramas that gives entry to Dramaland. It may be a little old and cringe now - but no one can deny the Hallyu wave it created and even today is used as a reference in many content...

9. Splash Splash Love
Korean Special - 2015, 2 episodes
Highly underrated short drama. This was precise and in a short duration had it all - romance, time-travel, comedy, political drama/mystery! It is just 2 hours -I cannot stress enough on why you should watch it.

10. Ela era Linda
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
