1. Amor Entre Uma Fada e um Demónio
Chinese Drama - 2022, 36 episodes

Review: I had wanted to watch this series for quite a while but was always hesitant since I do not think I had watched a Xianxia genre series before, and wasn't sure if I was going to like it. However, I gave it a go and was watching numerous episodes in one day. I was looking for more of a enemies-to-lovers type of series, however this is like that but more evil-and-nice. I found the process of their relationship to be manageable, even though they do not get together until the later episodes, the process is very healthy and I am glad that I finally watched it and gave Xianxia a go.

Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

Review: I really enjoyed this series and would look forward to each episode every week. This drama felt something different about it but I don't know what. I would be smiling constantly throughout every episode to the point where my face would start to hurt. I personally think this is probably one of the best BL series of 2024. However during the last few episodes it would bet a bit cringey and I just ended up waiting for it to end but I personally wouldn't lower my scoring because of that. It is extremely fluffy and cute and I would most likely watch it again because it is a very feel-good cute drama. The main theme song is very catchy and I had it on repeat. I would definitely recommend this to someone if they never watch BL before and wanted a drama to get them started. Keen and Sea have a lot of chemistry and they are very promising actors and would love to see them get another series next year too.

3. 18-sai, Niizuma, Furin Shimasu.
Japanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

Review: I watched this only because Nako is in it, when I first read the plotline I did think it was interesting, but I still most likely wouldn't have watched it unless Nako was in it as I do not usually watch Japanese dramas. However, I think despite having an interesting plot description, they didn't execute this series well. I think it's okay as a starter to get into Japanese dramas as the episodes are quite short. But the age gap was strange and the first-cousin relationship was also strange (I had to look up if first cousin marriage was even legal in Japan). As well as this, they kept mentioning that she was a princess but she was acting like an ordinary person, which was also kind of confusing. I think if these points were changed then it would have been more appealing to watch. Though, it was nice as Nako's first Main Role after having a few supporting roles, but as someone who has known Nako since she was a minor, some parts were quite shocking for me, hahaha.

Review: This is a really great series - I wasn't planning to watch it but was intrugied by SkyNani at the GMMTV 2025 conference, so I thought I would give it a try, I watched the episodes so quickly and couldn't stop watching because it was too good! It seems to be a remake of School 2013 but I have never watched that, so I can't make a comparison. But High School Frenemy is fantastic - almost gives me Weak Hero Class vibes as well, with the fighting and intense bromance. SkyNani have great chemistry here even if it is only a bromance. But I would definitely recommend this to someone if they wanted to start watching Thai Dramas.
