Journey to the West (Novel)

Journey to the West (Chinese: 西遊記; pinyin: Xī Yóu Jì) is a Chinese novel published in the 16th century during the Ming dynasty and attributed to Wu Cheng'en. It is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. It has been described as arguably the most popular literary work in East Asia. Arthur Waley's abridged translation, Monkey, is known in English-speaking countries.

*modern absurd version of "Journey to the West", it has nothing to do with Journey to West story, it is completely an absurd legend set in the real world. The main character who explores the mystery, that is, the initiator of the journey "Tang Zhijun", corresponds to "Tang Seng". The mysterious boy who encounters adventures on the road, "Sun Yitong" who wears a pot on his head and holds a bone in his hand, corresponds to "Sun Wukong".
