Okidokes, I believe that this is the first 2024 kdrama I have finished this year. I rated Flex X Cop a solid 9/10. In the beginning, I have disliked that the team did not take Isoo seriously and called him out for not contacting them but then they ignored his calls. HOWEVER, I totally understand their behaviour from a professional standpoint. I would not trust some conglomerate's son either. Especially not, if said conglomerate's son is famous for playing around.  

Nonetheless, from the beginning I absolutely loved the humour and how the characters were portrayed. I also absolutely enjoyed the cases! And the problem I have mentioned above quickly got dissolved. The chemistry between the teammates and their banter is amazing and would certainly recommend this drama to everyone who loves crime and team dramas. Beware: this drama is not serious per se but has some serious streaks in it. 

Bonus point: Park Ji Hyun portrayed a badass FL who doesn't get whimsy and weak when ML comes around and who doesn't beat him up. Ganghyun leads the team and she does so well. She is also not some overpowered FL but rather realistic. So everyone who loves a strong FL (in the best way possible) should watch this drama. 

I really hope that the news about the second season is real because I cannot get enough of them. Let's also hope that the cast stays the same. I already miss them.

It was an alright short drama. Nothing special but the plot was quite nice. I am not too happy with the ending but apart from that I enjoyed it. If you want to watch something quick and don't expect a masterpiece, this one is right for you.
