This short film is more than what the synopsis says.  An interesting but also sad watch. It definitely needed 10 mins more at least, in the last 2 mins I was like "nooo, we need more!"

My reasons for not liking it the first time I watched it and how my mind changed after the rewatch:

[1.] I was watching it as it was airing in korea in 2017-2018 and seeing the bad TV ratings, I had this feeling that they put so much effort into making some really good first 3 eps and then the quality went down cause of the ratings. After I rewatched it, tho, I can say that the quality didn't go down, but rather the only feeling I got is that they knew they had to fill those 16 eps so there were many unnecessary scenes. 14 eps would be the best bet for me![ 2.] I was dissapointed that Bang Min ah decided not to choose this role ( she was offered the role of the FL as well) cause back then I really liked her acting in comedies, but since then I think her acting is average compared to Chae soo bin's [3.] The main reason I didn't like this drama before was the ML's stalkerish behavior in an ep, but after rewatching I could sympathize with him [4.] It was my first robot drama so I just found it silly that he fell in love with a robot, but if you really look into his condition you can understand why

So this one, being on Netflix, got super VIRAL and everyone and their mom watched it lol. For once I didn't feel alone watching a dating show xD

Single's inferno, in comparison with other dating shows that have actual lasting couples coming out of them, felt quite scripted and its contestants were driven by fame. Like you can't tell me a bunch of hot beautiful people couldn't find a partner so they had to go on a dating show. Usually in these shows you can tell that even if someone is attractive they're quite awkward and shy or work too much, so therefore have no time for dating. But here most of them wanted fame and recognition for their businesses. The big winner out of it was JiA, that gained millions of followers and her name was trending on twitter almost daily.

But I'm not saying all of that as a critique lol, I loved everything about it! So many twists and fun moments. Literally the epitome of entertainment lol. I loved the setting of the island as well, instead of the usual villa and hoping for season 2

    My faves: Sehoon, Jiyeon, Yeawon

Let's be honest, Cha eunwoo's acting in this was not good! At the beginning I didn't mind it at all but watching 16 eps of one expression is tiring...like he would have tears in his eyes and still no expression, shocked but no expression etc. His character, tho, Do kyung suk, was indeed like that, a tsundere that barely shows emotion and there's nothing interesting about him. The only notable thing the ML had was just people saying he's pretty over and over again. They also tried to make every other male character in the story a freaking asshole so that the ML will look like an oasis in comparison to them. But he was just being a decent human being, nothing special in my opinion...like if you don't sexually harass girls or make fun of their appearance are you special or just normal?

    FL was just as boring...
SML was a character that had no reason to be in the drama, it seems that they just added him for a hint of a love triangle and a misunderstanding between the main leads

Most guys in the drama were skunks and I hate them

Hyun soo ah, that is supposed to be the most hated character, was extremely interesting and I was rooting for her after some time...I finished it fast just to see her ending, which was dissapointing -_-

    ONE OF MY FAVES!

This drama was a big surprise to me cause I went in with 0 expectations. I started watching it cause I had nothing else to watch and everything from the cheesy trailer and name to the unfamiliar actors and the fact that it was released all in 1 day by iQiyi with 0 promotion made me think that it was another fun little rom-com c-drama. Probably very low budget too :/

The crazy thing is that this is actually a well written story, like I'm talking about a really good script. It even has a bunch of plot twists and character development, the acting is done well by everyone but what really got me is the fact that even tho it's probably a low budget drama you can only tell by the wigs' terrible lace front application. Everything else is done with so much care, from makeup to clothes, directing, editing, cgi, scriptwriting etc. Also, the eps were fast paced or something interesting would always happen in each ep, so it never got boring!

I wasn't really pleased with the ending they gave us but I enjoyed it so much it could only be a 10 from me!

This is a nice short drama, about 5 hours long. I think the best thing about this drama is the story...it's quite interesting and it makes you wanna watch more.

The acting especially from the 2 main leads is meh. The ML has the usual "he's an idol and this is his first role so he speaks very VERY quietly without some color in his voice" vibe, but I'm gonna give it to him cause his character is supposed to be antisocial and shy ( good decision by the scriptwriter to hide his bad acting lol). Surprisingly, FL's acting is even more awkward :/ But both of their performances are not bad, it was still enjoyable...I have seen worse trust me!

Now the weakest point of the drama is probably the romance. It was obvious that the 2 actors felt awkward with each other so there was no chemistry whatsoever...on the other hand, FL had GREAT chemistry with the SFL! Like they were both so comfortable and happy with each other. I straight up thought that SFL had a crush on her, not gonna lie lol...but I loved their friendship!

I had to skip or fast-forward some scenes, also the shorter eps were more enjoyable, but overall it was a very cute drama...I liked the ending and how the characters' relationships worked all throughout!

    TOO SHORT!

This is a good short drama with an interesting and touching story and for once the acting is really good, especially from the FL (well everyone else too!)

What really got me SCREAMINGG is the chemistry between the main leads...like idk why cause nothing really crazy happened but damn I felt it ^^ This was my first time seeing the ML and honestly....he's hot! I quite liked his acting too!
[spoilers ahead: there was this scene where they were sitting on a bench and ML's face was sweaty from running so she wiped his forehead and cheek with her hands, AAAAHH love was in the air I'm telling you ( yes I'm probably overexaggerating lol) ]

The worst thing about this drama and for that I couldn't give it a perfect rating is that it was too short. It's just an hour long :( This story could definitely be told in more eps. and we could get a more in depth character and relationships development (some characters weren't explored at all unfortunately). Surprisingly, tho, it didn't feel that rushed even if it was that short!

First of all, I only completed this drama cause of my love for Zhao Lusi! The first time I tried to watch it back in 2020 I went in with high expectations considering the great promotional videos and OST. But these expectations were definitely not met, so this time the bar was on the floor, let me tell you :/

And I still was extremely dissapointed! The FL is arguably the worst character of this drama- at first they present her as someone who is strong willed, opinionated, smart and a bit cunning, with martial arts knowledge...Now tell me why after the first half of the drama she's suddenly the dumbest person ever, can't fight and hides behind others, is extremely stubborn and wants revenge, but she can't do it right so she puts literally everyone in danger?!

ML is a weirdo/pervert a few times in the drama but his character is still nice and played well by the actor

Second leads were completely unecessary but still got 500 scenes for no reason...I skipped almost all of them hehe

Now the story has a crazy amount of plot holes, you have to read parts from the novel to understand a lot of things. In short, they butchered the novel..the idea was nice but the execution was shit!

Well, this drama was a pleasant surprise cause I never thought I would like anything that has to do with this story. I generally believe that the ML is always quite shitty in this story and his toxic behaviors are easily forgiven by the FL, BUT this remake did things right! The ML is pretty decent and doesn't use violence against the FL (Meteor garden I'm looking at you -_-). The rest F4 guys also have their own storyline and distinct personalities and I was interested in all of them in this version(again Meteor garden I'm looking at you 0_o)

~MJ is the absolute BEST BOY, he was there to support everyone and serve looks...I'm glad that he got his own side story but it was still rushed, so we won't talk about it!
~Now REN, that's MY MANN...hands down one of the best characters ever- he's artistic and cute, he respects women and doesn't use violence, he cares for and always supports his friend even if Thyme treats him like shit sometimes, he's always there for the FL as well AND he's absolutely gorgeous, he was serving looks all the time T_T Now if the FL ACTUALLY had taste, she would be him but oh well...

This is definitely the best version of the story in my opinion, I liked the characters and the editing was top notch, although the last ep. was VERY rushed and Kavin/Kaning needed more development in their relationship!

I literally had no expectations for this drama cause we can all see the terrible looking poster and trailers...it just seemed like a drama that would go unnoticed. But, surprisingly, this had a GREAT beginning and everyone was hooked. I loved the quality in the first 2 eps.- they really outdid themselves with the editing, transitions and budget,so they made you believe that you were in for a great ride! But, just like many dramas the first 2 eps are always great to draw in people and then the quality gradually declines.

It was very fast-paced right from the beginning and u would expect that the story wouldnt get boring cause of the 12 eps. but it really got boring after 6 eps...the main leads were extremely boring while the 2nd leads were interesting but their scenes were very few -_- Now if they kept Geum hi for a lot longer this drama would be a lot more entertaining- by far the most interesting character, like she was done DIRTY!
Also ML's voice was very monotonous which got annoying, the last ep. was VERY rushed ( we didnt get a closure for a LOT of characters) and this drama got so popular that everyone was posting spoilers here n' there, which ruined the fun T_T

But I'm very thankful that netflix had a successful rom-com, which means we're gonna get more huhu and it was overall very funny and relaxing to watch! I also loved a lot of the characters ^^

I'm embarassed to say that I rewatch this drama almost every year...like it's sooo cringeyy but it's definitely a guilty pleasure.
I usually skip everything but the romance and it's very enjoyable like that...they show so many parts of their relationship and cutesy cringey moments that you feel like you're third wheeling lol. I also just LOVE the relationship between all the chefs in the restaurant...they're all just having the best of fun and are extremely funny!
But the way I physically CRINGE during some moments in this drama...OOF, I love it lmao!

Other than the whole ghost story this is a very simple, cozy drama that can brighten up your mood when you're in a drama slump.

This was a 40 min special ep. and it was nice to watch, since I understood more about the characters! Definitely didn't watch it to see more of Dew huhuu
The director seemed to care a lot about this project and all the actors worked hard to portray their characters ^^ And I like how they made adjustments to the original story to make it fresh but also in my opinion to cut out most of the toxicity of the original and focus more on important issues, like bullying!

So I'm just gonna talk about my fave character, Ren- I saw Dew talk about his experience and he did so well in his 1st acting role considering also that his character was a very hard one to portray, as they said. He must have been very anxious that his 1st role was such a big project, but he did great anyways and pretty much everyone loved his character. Like they just need to make more characters like that- gentle with a sense of respect and always caring about the people in their lives without trying to push them emotionally for selfish reasons...we rarely see MLs like that, and he wasn't even the ML sighhh T_T
Also Dew can draw in real life as well??!...No, cause that's MY MAN right there!! lol T_T

The way the director said "I think Dew can make a lot of people fall in love"...Don't call me out like that! bwahahah

"I must admit MJ has the least part in the story, so he has to be visually attractive and can steal the scene" WAIT....cause he's got a point actually ;D

I never thought I would actually love this drama so much! The previews were weird and everyone was saying that the first eps. were very camp 0_o but I decided to start it since I love a good CEO-secretary rom-com hehe

The first 4 eps. are indeed kind of weird and camp, like you will get some questionable scenes and directing choices, but let me tell you it gets GOOODDD after those 4 eps. and the weirdness gets toned down by a lot! I genuinely loved almost all of the eps. and even tho they were all quite slow-paced I learned to get used to it! They just made it clear from the beginning that their goal was to play around with all kinds of kdrama cliches and just turn them all upside down and make something unique out of them, which I LOVED! The chemistry was also on FIRE, I loved their crazy moments

What I loved the most is how everything in the plot was well paced - cause dramas these days just don't pace the events right and end up getting boring- and also the fact that the ML, especially, had a great character development that didn't rely on magically becoming a saint, but actually learning through a bunch of mistakes

The  last  ep. was a bit boring and the main leads' relationship was a bit...cringey/cheesy but these are some very small complaints I have ^^

Another drama that pleasantly surprised me!

When I first heared that this is a musical I got very worried, cause one thing that I never thought this depressing ass webtoon would turn into was a musical drama lol. But, yea, the only thing I knew about this webtoon was that it was very dark, I had also read a couple of chapters so that I would still get surprised by this drama.

And I was indeed surprised cause the turn that this drama took...OMG! It had mystery, plot twists, you didn't know what to believe about the ML and you couldn't even base your opinion into anything cause we barely had any information about him. Like they really got me making theories, damn. The first ep. was quite cringey, those 3 songs were not good, I'm sorry :/, but after that all the eps were GREAT!

Hwang in yeop proved once again that he's a great actor and his story was actually very interesting and touching. Also, I never really liked Ji chang wook's acting but DAMN here he was really good, which really goes to show that he just doesn't pick good projects most of the time -oop

I loved how especially the 2nd half was very thrilling and they did a great work with the visuals- only complaint is a few cringey songs!

    Thai Drama - 2022, 22 episodes

    8.0

My rating for this drama is mostly based on my enjoyment cause I really did enjoy watching it every week, it was quite a fun drama for me! There are some good points like I loved the drag queen plot, Luke looked great as a drag queen, the story was interesting, it was quite funny at times...I honestly just watched it for Luke, so that was enough good points for me huhuuuu

But there are PLENTY of cons with this drama and I have THOUGHTS about them:

    1. considering this was a drama about drag queens this was their chance to go ALL OUT with the wigs, the outfits, the performances...it's supposed to be very extravagant. But they went ahead and gave us NOTHING! The wigs and outfits were decent to bad, you could see their actual hair peeking through, Luke's outfit was messed up and his dress couldn't reach his chest and many more...the 1st trailer with the other guy as the ML had AMAZING wigs and outfits so idk what happened after that :/
    2. the budget....omg! I usually don't care about a low budget, but this drama really took it to the next level. To me it felt like they just didn't care at all, there are plenty of low budget dramas that look amazing but here you would see people calling someone with the wrong name and it wasn't edited out, the sound quality...horrendous etc.

3the plot is a MESS...they dragged the whole thing with noona and nadia so freaking much, like we're tired move on. The main leads had good chemistry but they barely did anything with the romance...just dragged it more and more

But ,all in all, I did like it and looked forward to watching it every week...if they had a more polished story with more romance, comedy and drag queen stuff and less police/action (I mean no problem with action but the budget was obviously not enough for this kind of plot, a lot of fight scenes were laughable honestly :/), less eps and better makeup, wigs and outfits for the drag queens this would have actually been great even with a low budget!

I loved how the big budget of this drama was well spent and they didn't use it all in casting an extremely popular and expensive actor *side eyeing specific dramas* You will get to see the desert, sand dunes, rivers, forests, vast valleys and all kinds of wonderful scenery among with beautiful and unique clothing! Of course, the acting was great too! You can tell how their priority was to make the best craft possible...I appreciated every detail of it!

I really loved the first half, the story was interesting and seemed like it had great potential, the directing, OSTs and acting were fantastic, so I was looking forward to see how things would unravell in the 2nd half. This is the sole reason I'm giving it a high rating!

Ufortunately the writer threw this interesting story into the garbage and created a mess instead >_<

The script was often cringy and emotional scenes didn't have a big impact because of it...all the job was done by the great actors that sometimes were able to save it.

Lazy writing was evident throughout the whole drama. Like things were found too easily... unrealistically easily

The ML's character was one-dimentional and had 0 range of emotions, which is weird since he had a crazy backstory. All side characters were one-dimentional as well and existed just to help the FL

    FL barely had character development

    MY ABSOLUTE FAVE!

I'm writing this review a week after completing the drama and I'm still not over it T_T

This has possibly become my fave xianxia drama ever! It's one of these hard to find dramas that  may not have the biggest budget and the main leads may not be the most popular actors but everyone included made sure to treat this project with the absolute most care! From the breathtaking special effects, to the unforgettable OSTs, the BEAUTIFUL costumes, the enticing story, the spot on acting that makes you feel like nobody else could play the 2 main characters but them, even to smaller details like background sound effects that immerse you into this fantasy world, this was perfect and the best I've seen in YEARS!

Wang Hedi was perfect in the role of DFQC, an anti-hero character that had such a great character development that ended up being one of my fave MLs ever! His romance with XLH touched my heartstrings T_T They were both great characters and their love story was so believable, I was INVESTED! The script was just too good!( "Everything in this world is fate, only love is not fate"- when I understood what this line meant later on, oof TEARS down my face T_T)

The ending was rushed but I understand the hustle cause their budget was not enough for a more proper closure T_T In fact, they handled their budget perfectly, making this drama look like a billion dramas, something that plenty of these high budget dramas can't relate with -_-

Surprisingly good for a short drama!

The story is sooo interesting, I NEED this in a full drama...like this is the MOTHER of 'entering a book' stories (just the story, tho) I'm telling you with a big budget and better actors this would be a hit!

The budget was quite good for a short drama...the girls would change outfits every 5 secs and it didn't look like it was edited by my 5 year old nephew :/ We got some good OSTs as well and the background music was very good too! Now if we got some actual good acting by everyone, especially the ML, this would be A HIT...in my heart at least!

There were some stupid moments that didn't make sense and the first half was definitely more gripping than the second half but the bar was on the floor so it did great for what it is!

    Thai Drama - 2021, 24 episodes

    9.0

First off, I had this on-hold for a whole year and watched the last 3 eps this month, so I don't remember most of it :/

I remember this was one of the best remakes of 'she was pretty' for me! VERY funny. with interesting characters and a heartwarming story...it did get boring towards the end tho, which is bound to happen if they're gonna follow the original. They also added a few different things to the story to spice things up, which I appreciate for a drama that has so many remakes.

I will say, tho, the main leads were quite boring in the eps I watched recently, no chemistry and a boring couple. FL had a better chemistry with the SML...I meannn my man acted like his life was on the line! He brought ALL the chemistry, comedy and fun in this drama. I can't see how she chose the ML, a seemingly boring character that looked at her like she was his little sister...I mean you have a SML that is 100 times more interesting and a better actor than the ML and expect me to root for the main couple?!...hmmm it aint gonna work!

For me this drama is an 8 mainly cause I remember just the last eps and cause they did my man Tula DIRTY, but I know I loved it last year so a 9!

    Very well-made short drama!

We need more short dramas like this honestly...great cinematography, acting, plot and with a decent budget. The story was very intriguing...it had a bit of everything: fantasy, mystery, romance and maybe a few scandalous scenes here and there ( ͡❛ ͜ʖ͡❛ )

I quite enjoyed the first half, although the 2nd half focused a lot more on the romance, which I found boring since the main leads had close to none personality. The villain, thoooo....I liked (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖) It must be because of my new appreciation for morally ambiguous characters, what can I say

At the end it felt kinda rushed which could be easily avoided by cutting some of the main leads' boring moments

The 1st season is one of my faves and I was excited for the 2nd season as soon as I found out that it wasn't a continuation but they added a new twist to the story instead and made the main leads meet again for the first time.

The budget was bigger this season which I really enjoyed and the ML's acting was very much improved...the main leads' chemistry was also IMMACULATE! This drama had so many funny scenes, I was literally crying laughing while watching the first eps. and I enjoyed the first half sooo much even tho it was a bit uninteresting at times.

The story got messed up halfway through...for me it was too obvious that they were trying to stretch the plot in order to fit 30 eps :/ A lot of eps. were incredibly boring to the point that I ended up watching the entire 2nd half of the drama in 2x speed. And let me not talk about the insane cringeyness I had to experience...I was physically hurting watching what seemed like the most cringey shit ever :)

I ended up hating this drama a little towards the end which is sad cause the 1st season is one of my faves...that doesn't mean tho that it didn't have some really good moments!

I think the premise of this drama was really good! A fantasy historical universe in which the FL is a badass assassin hungry for revenge, that switches souls in order to survive but ends up being the maid/master of the person she wants to kill. They could have done sooo much with this and having watched the 2nd season...they didn't!

The idea was good but execution was sloppy at times. Specifically the emotional development of the characters was just very weak...Both of the main characters just didn't seem emotionally invested, which led to them having 0 chemistry. Romance was the weakest part of this season. Both of them just seemed so shallow...neither the story nor the script helped, which really makes me think it's just the Hongs sisters' fault -_-

Also, we were promised a strong FL and what we got instead was a maid with 0 skills running behind Jang Uk, while he got to be the cool one all the time. The eps were quite exciting, tho, the characters likeable and FL had a great chemistry with the side characters, especially Yul and the crown prince. But, the filler eps got more and more towards the end and the leaks about season 2 just ruined the 1st season honestly...I just wasn't as excited about whatever happened in the last eps

One of my FAVE 2022 dramas!

This drama is honestly an 11/10...PERFECTION!

I never thought I would watch this drama...I was excited that Kwak Dong Yeon  was finally a ML but as soon as I saw it's a business/office drama I was like NOPE! A lot of people liked it tho and I started watching. The 1st ep. didn't leave me the best impression and I thought that I just got into a weird camp-y drama but by the 2nd ep. I was HOOKED!

Each ep. was so well-made, it didn't get boring not even for a sec...honestly it's the script and the well-written characters that are making this drama so perfect. I loved the comedy (it was so funny for real), I loved the romance, the quirky characters and everything really

Even though it only had 12 eps it didn't feel rushed and it also didn't leave you wanting more. I cried a little at the end, I had grown fond of the characters T_T

    Also, Ma Tan BEST BOY!

I watched only the "Zero in the Moonlight" story cause my FAVE ship from F4 thailand were the leads...I had to!

It was quite short, only an hour long and even though I quite enjoyed this cute advertisement 'drama' at the beginning, towards the end I was begging for it to finally be over :/ It got quite weird, the directing was sloppy and the only thing I enjoyed was the FL's great acting (even with this weird script she was acting DOWN) and seeing Dew once again on my screen after a while

This was extremely funny at the beginning...I think up till halfway through I really enjoyed it. The story was unique and all of the character were hillarious.

Somehow, though, this drama took a 180 turn...it suddenly got serious, it wasn't funny anymore and honestly they pulled out some scary stuff about evil spirits and what not, which I'm not a fun of. I started watching because of the jokes and giggles, what is this? xD

I also lost interest on it and barely watched the last 3 eps...but I think that this drama just wasn't my cup of tea anymore, it's actually a quite good one

Let's be honest, this drama is worth it just because of how hot the ML is ;D

I don't watch these republican dramas but this one was surprisingly good! I did like the story and honestly I liked the acting as well. The ML is a good actor and he had a great chemistry with the FL. For a short drama this is quite decent, the budget is good, no sloppy editing

But yea we all came for the hot ML and stayed for the hot ML

It got quite intense towards the end and I stopped enjoying it. Also the romance is barely there, not gonna lie :/

This drama got quite viral and even though I didn't think I would be interested in it I decided to watch it.

To my surprise this was indeed a GREAT drama, like I completely understood the hype. The FL's cute friendship with her bestie, the gripping and emotional cases, the ML who is the greenest flag :D and all the cute little details of this drama that made it special. It honestly didn't really follow any cliches and I genuinely loved the script and the characters, BUT netflix being the money hungry corporation that it is and wanting a 2nd season really ruined this drama :/

80-90% of each ep. was dedicated to a case which wouldn't have been a problem if they hadn't introduced so many subplots. They literally kept on introducing new subplots even in the last eps...how are you gonna give closure to all of them when you have such little time in each ep?! This was perfect and they kinda ruined it towards the end...it didn't feel rushed, tho, and the ending does give you a satisfaction so I was conflicted about my rating

    [SPOILERS BELOW]

Biggest mistake of this drama is turning that trashy man into a good person out of nowhere and giving him a love interest when he was literally the worst character in the entire drama...what happened to character development? What happened to apologizing? Is it just "I'm magically a chill dude now and everything is excused cause my family is poor"? BULLSHIT! We still hate him and he's a big clown -_-
