Touch Aversion Representation

• main character: takahashi satoru
• touch aversion is very prominant part of takahashi's character, it's established from the beginning and he remains incredibly touch averse no matter how close his relationship may be with other individuals.

• main character: shao dian you qin
• established from the start, his touch aversion becomes less intense the closer of a bond he has someone because of this he then becomes more comfortable being the one to initiate physical touch rather than someone else initiating it (but the latter can also depend on the person), and when he does touch someone or allows someone to touch him he would sometimes prefer no skin to skin contact (touching of his sleeve instead for example)

• main character: han zheng
• established from the start, becomes less intense depending on closeness of a bond with someone, is more willing to initiate physical touch rather than receiving it, sometimes prefers touch to be via clothing rather than skin to skin

• main character: chu sangwoo
• he doesn't like to be touched unless some asks him first before touching him so he can prepare himself otherwise he'll be uncomfortable with touch

this one is more of a headcanon but i wanted to include it

• support character: jao
• there are many instances where jao is shown to be uncomfortable with physical touch and is usually the one to initiate it, there are also a few instances where you see him either tell someone not to touch him or consent to wanting to be touched. i talk about it in more detail here & here (contains spoilers)

• main character: moon seo ha
• touch aversion in the character is a symptom/trigger of a traumatic event in the character's childhood
  "Ever since [the traumatic event], it was difficult for me to physically touch anyone" episode 4
• the touch aversion in the character becomes less prominant as he deals with his trauma and due to the closeness of the bonds with other people & is seen initiating physical touch on multiple occassions

• main character: do ha na
• hana doesn't like people initiating touch with her, this has to do with her ability to see people's memories & people will be able to read her memories through physical touch so she would rather avoid physical touch with most people & only be the one to initiate it when she needs to use her powers to access memories (or punching people). but even if someone touches her over clothing she still doesn't like it very much.

• main character: do ha na
• hana doesn't like people initiating touch with her, this has to do with her ability to see people's memories & people will be able to read her memories through physical touch so she would rather avoid physical touch with most people & only be the one to initiate it when she needs to use her powers to access memories (or punching people). but even if someone touches her over clothing she still doesn't like it very much.

• supporting character: liu jun
• liu jun is seen wearing gloves for the majority of this drama as he's unable to touch people due to his touch being poisonous, he tends to avoid touch all together even with his gloves on but you do see him initiate touch to those closest to him/who he needs to protect when needs be

NOTE: technically this isn't touch aversion in the normal sense but i wanted to count it because it's a very prominant part of his character.

• main character: qi xiao xuan
• due to his germaphobia he doesn't like people to touch him unless he knows they're clean and he initiaties the touch first

• main character: jiang zhi hao
• due to his germaphobia he doesn't like people to touch him & doesn't like to touch people, he eventually adjusts to touching people & being touched as he deals with his trauma & the way he does this is through someone he trusts/someone close to him

• main character: ten
• is shown to avoid physical contact & is uncomfortable when people touch him, in episode 2 he says "i'm just not used to physical contact" when prem asks him why ten seems to be avoiding him whenever he gets too close & in episode 3 he says he "doesn't like physical touch"

• support character (tho i'd class him as a main): he weifei
• most likely due to childhood trauma, xiaobao is often shown not wanting physical contact especialy with strangers, he ends up holding up a little cue card that tells people that he doesn't want to be touched or people near him
• this does also depend on the closeness and trust xiaobao has with the person as his touch aversion can lessen with someone he trusts like his dad, his dad's friend, and yiyue

• support character: wen li
• in episode 1 he's shown avoiding physical contact with anyone who tries to touch him, & when he does go to touch someone he's seen covering his hands. when another character asks why he's covering his hands when touching her he responds with "sorry i don't like touching strangers" though it feels like they kinda forget about this as the series goes on but that might be because he's grown comfortable with those around him and/or no one is really touching him other than those close to him so there's no need to mention it

•  support character: ruan meng
• in ep 14 she explains that her touch aversion is related to her trauma of being kidnapped as a chilld & because of that she now experiences allergic reactions whenever a man touches her due to her fear of men, chu yan is the only man that she doesn't experience this with

• main character: lan wangji
• in episode 5 he's seen saying "i don't touch other people" when wei wuxian asks him to hold him by the hand instead of by the collar, in general he's not seen touching people or seen with people touching him throughout the series other than with wwx & most of the time it's not skin to skin contact it's contact via clothing
