SyiedaZ Most Favorite Movies (Highly Recommended)

Beautiful, sweet and heart fluffy high school romance.

I normally didn't really into high school romance but this movie really left a huge impact in my heart. This type of high school love story and how they portray their love for each other really make me happy and overjoy.

Miura Haruma as Kazehaya Shouta and Tabe Mikako as Kuronuma Sawako, really perfect for each other.

Note: There is a drama that both of them as lead couple in 2014 (Boku No Ita Jikan a.k.a The Hours Of My Life - but this one is a melodrama and sad/tragic love story) + new romance movie in 2019  (Little Nights, Little Love).

A sad but yet a very beautiful, touching and heart warming love story between 2 university students, Segawa Makoto who love photography and Satonaka Shizuru who very innocent and have a secret. They become friends and Shizuru also taking interest on photography.

The story set within music industry depicts a love between 23 years old talented composer, Ogasawara Aki and high school girl with beautiful singing voice, Koeda Riko.

With music as a main theme, plus 2 awesome bands (Crude Play + Mush & Co.), and with Sato Takeru and Ohara Sakurako as main leads, I really enjoy this movie to the max.

Never get bored every time I re-watched this beautiful movie with wonderful songs. All songs are very good and well composed, and perfect for this movie. 

Cute and funny love story between Miharu and Makie.

This movie make me focus on the sound and voice the whole time. Can't get enough of it. One of the best so far.

Takahashi Issei is so funny yet so cool in this tv movie special. Never get bored re-watched Soichiro Kurokawa and Riko Shirono funny love story.

My no.1 favorite military action movie. Rumor said there will be the 3rd installment but nothing confirm yet so far.

This romantic-comedy movie is so good and funny. Love to see how Dr. Mi Soo try to seduce Kang Il. The side love story between Yong Soo and Hyun Kyung also hilarious.

Yuna has a crush on Haru, whose she only see on the train every morning when she goes to school. Her day suddenly start to change when she woke up and find Haru sleeping right next to her. Her strange daily life with Haru begin.

Yuki is an introvert and shy high school girl who has a crush on a guy who work at convenient store. She always stop by at the store just to see him. Kou, whose in the same art club as Yuki like her and he try to get close to her.

This is a slow pace high school romance with beautiful, sweet and warm love story.

A beautiful and heart warming love story based on popular song title "Yuki No Hana" by Nakashima Mika (remake by Park Hyo Shin, title "Snow Flower").

Hirai Miyuki who has terminal illness meet Watabiki Yusuke while he help her chasing a theft that snatch her bag. His word at that time really warm her heart. Miyuki then coincidentally met Yusuke again on the road and she follow him to a cafe where he works. A situation lead them to be a couple for a month, and those their love story and romance begin.

This movie once again proved that I'm really a Tosaka Hiroomi bias unconditionally after Hot Road movie.   (^_^)

A slow-paced movie showing a relationship/interaction between Akihiro Oishi (Japanese/Chinese man) and a blind girl, Michiru Honma while they living together in Michiru's house (without Michiru knowledge).

This pairing also like a dream come true, since I'm both Tanaka Rena and Chen Bolin fan.

A story about a single man who decide to raised his 6 years old aunt (his recently deceased grandfather's illegitimate daughter) and their journey together.

A very touching and heart warming family movie.

A love story between He Yi Chen and Zhao Mo Sheng that span more than 7 years, even after their breakup that caused by misunderstanding.

The drama version came out first before the movie, but I prefer this movie version than drama version.

Another military movie with great action and stunt.

This 1995 epic movie tell a story about a women name Watanabe Hiroko who still cannot forget her dead fiancee and decided to write a letter to his old address. To her surprises, she got a reply from a women with the exactly same name as her fiancee, Itsuki Fujii.

By exchanged letters with female Itsuki Fujii, Watanabe Hiroko got to know his fiancee during his high school years where both of them are classmate.

Even though this movie released more than 20 years ago, it still great to re-watch it.

A very beautiful love story for me. Love Yamada Takayuki and Nagawa Masami in this movie.

A good slow pace movie with walking/run marathon as a main background theme. I really love how unique this theme is where the story of high school students revolved within 24 hours of walking/run festival. All of side stories also connected to each other. 

The main focus of this movie is a strange relationship between Koda Takako and his half-brother, Nishiwaki Yu. Love this but also feel like wanted to see their romance/love relationship (because both Tabe Mikako and Ishida Takuya look  good with each other).

Really love all seasons of this Code Blue series (including drama specials and movie). 

One of the main/important reason is because they maintain the same 5 main leads through out the series.

A pure love story between poor girl, Ezaki Chinami  who still traumatized by the Great Hanshin Earthquake from 19 years ago, with a mysterious young man, Igarashi Riku who come from a very wealthy family. 

They meet a the beach and a situation lead Chinami to work as housemaid at Riku's family villa. And thus their pure love story begin.

It is really rare to see Aoyagi Sho as main lead, especially in romance.

A sad and touching but yet also beautiful and heart warming innocent love story between 2 high-school student, a quiet and loner boy Shiga Haruki and a bright girl Yamauchi Sakura who have terminal illness.

Their friendship start when Haruki accidentally pick up Sakura's diary at hospital. Since Haruki know her secret, Sakura decided to make Haruki as her friend even-though Haruki refuse at first but Sakura keep on bothering him.

So in love with Kitamura Takumi and Hamabe Minami pairing in this movie. Wishing and hoping for their collaboration again in future, in full length drama especially.

Oguri Shun and Kitagawa Keiko are another plus point to watch this great movie.

This movie lead me to be a die hard fan of Tosaka Hiroomi as an actor.  (^_^)

A love story between Hiroshi Haruyama, a 16 years old troublemaker boy who didn't go to school, part-timer at gas station and also a motorcycle gang member with a 14 years old girl, Kazuki Miyaichi whose lonely because she doesn't have good relationship with her mother.

Their first encounter didn't goes really well but, thus encounter begin their heart warming love story and change both Haruyama's and Kazuki's life.

Love both Tosaka Hiroomi and Nounen Rena in this movie.

A friendship theme movie that center in high-school with four most hot, popular and good-looking boys with really great chemistry and real bromance among them.

The story center around one of most popular boys in basketball team, Asakura Towa trying to befriend with his classmate Haruno Mizuki, a girl who is quite shy and reluctant to make friends. 

A weird and funny love confession situation leads all 4 of them to be friend with Mizuki and she also start to open her heart to Towa, Rui, Ryuji and Kyosuke. 

Kitamura Takumi pairing with Tsuchiya Tao is what I'm waiting for. Hoping for their pairing again in full length drama, or another movie at least.

Love story between Ayukawa Itsuki, an architect who is left paralyzed from the waist down and using wheelchair with Kawana Tsugumi who works at interior design company. She also Itsuki's junior in high school and always has a crush for him.

Die hard fan of Iwata Takanori but not really a fan of Sugisaki Hana. Feel like the pairing is a bit off here and there but still a good movie to watch.

There is a drama version came out in 2019 but with totally different male and female leads, Matsuzaka Tori with Yamamoto Mizuki.

A friendship theme movie that center around four hot, popular and good-looking high school buddies with great chemistry and real bromance among them. The story focus on how they help one of their friend to get the girl he like at school, and also with their own personal issue and love stories.

Love their friendship the most - Sano Reo, Nakagawa Taishi, Yokohama Ryusei and Takasugi Mahiro as 4 best buddies, and Yoshikawa Ai and Tsunematsu Yuri as best friend.

Sano Reo pairing with Yoshikawa Ai is quite unexpected but love it. Hoping for their pairing again in full length drama, or another movie at least.
