True. But we are only going to British Columbia to check out farm lands or ranches. We are also thinking about leaving our mini Dragons with grandparents too. Thought it'll be better for our munchkins. And we don't have to pack much this way.
I guess they did not bother warming up the water because TJR is a relative newbie and not a big star. It was the same for Weiwei back then when filming LYF. He was a newbie who took on a role that no big star wanted. So first he was baking on the hot cement floor as tortured Jing in summer then soaked in the freezing water in the later months whilst filming that scene of wounded by Hou and floating out to the sea in S2.
Cent, please take care of your newbie artists. Everyone deserves good or at least decent working conditions. Summer heat can be deadly and soaking in cold water in autumn / winter months is no walk in the park and can cause health problems. I am glad none of these boys got sick after that!
I really pity these guys and they have lots of respect from me. The wiring on high from the ground really dangerous too. Newbie or not I don’t think they take care of their actors. XiaoZhan too had this experience shivering after a water scene. Watching BTS really scaring me too. Seeing their hard work and passion….

If they can treat XiaoZhan like that, can you imagine a newbie or a not so high rating actor? Must be even worse. An article I read says for the big actors, they will at least make sure the water is warm, maybe not super nice warm kind, but at least not freezing water. So filming during cold months, if the water is not super nice warm but just a little warm can cause people to shiver too.
Hanging on the wire is very uncomfortable also. I can't remember who, but this actor shared that they have bruises after 1 day of hanging and swinging about the wires. Next day do it again. Ouch...my heart goes out to all of them!!

Oh it was during Untamed right? Shooting before XZ was famous. But it was a real cave with a huge pool so there was no way they could heat it. I saw the bts where he had to wrap cling film to prevent the water from contacting him directly.
Yes it was The Untamed. At least they wrap him up with something. I think they didn’t for WeiWei and MJTY “didi”. They shivered until I feel heartbroken.
