Hehehe Guess we just love to get together Hahaha For Chinese new year, I usually cook pork legs stuffed with sticky rice, mushrooms, nuts, dry prawns,etc. Xiao Long Bao if the mood strikes. Definitely Ma La Xiang Guo and hot pot plus dumplings for sure. Hehehe funny that I'm not Chinese but I cook Chinese dishes during Chinese new year.”

So what race are you? I forgotten sorry sorry…. You mentioned Buddhist and not Chinese hahha I got a little lost there. 

I am trying hard to hold that tradition but when kids all grown up it will be tough. Already stop celebrating moon cake festival but I will still purchase moon cake to make sure everyone will have one at least. It was great last year that we made everyone home to walk with the a lantern with a lantern hahahha. During Winter Solstice I make sure I will make rice ball for everyone.

Visit Greece almost every year but never stay there for a long time before though. But this time we're planning to stay there over 2 weeks. Enjoy Greece food but don't think we'll be eating Greece food everyday though. But guess we'll be be enjoying more backyard bbq mostly coz my hubby plus the boys (my brothers & cousins+ my hubby's cousins) are definitely gonna show off their skills.

The groceries you'll buy for this BBQ will be top quality. So no doubt, the taste will be amazing. Moreover the scenery is unforgettable. I wish you a great trip. 

I remember buying amazing cheese, bread and veggies in supermarket in Italy. And even the pastries were great. Even if I prefer French pastries.

I sure the cheese and all the food in Greece  are delicious too. I don't know anything about Greek pastries but I am sure they are tasty. Wow I just realized that I don't know any Greek cake. This country is still a beautiful mystery to me. Enjoy your time there.

I'm Arakanese, South East Asian Ethnic group from Western part of Myanmar (Burma). But my family didn't live in Myanmar anymore as we become us citizen a long time ago. Some of my cousins still live in Yangon, Myanmar though majority of my relatives become us citizens. 

I am trying hard to hold that tradition but when kids all grown up it will be tough. I always bake moon cakes during Moon Cake Festival, quite a few varieties as moon cakes are my favorite and my hubby too. But I didn't manage to bake moon cakes last year and this year though. But definitely gonna bake next year. I also love rice balls too. Hehehe

Baklava, Baklava Cheese Cake, Galaktoboureko, are few of Greece cake. Lokama is also a yummy dessert/snack. Yeah cheese are also very good. You can enjoy  variety of Greece Cheeses. Veggies and fruits are very yummy too. Although there're quite a variety of veggies, herbs, and fruits in our backyard garden, with families from both sides, we have to buy quite a lot of groceries for sure. But prices are quite cheap though compare to US. 

I enjoy the weather especially as I don't like freezing cold weather. The beaches there are really beautiful too.

Wow okok got it. I am actually happy that Chinese dramas’ market has now gone international. Seeing how Korean dramas grew and now China dramas as well. 

Speaking of baking I tried making moon cake 3-4 times failed I gave up and will not try anymore. I tried making moon snow skin version btw. I will buy homemade ones if possible. They are selling online and so on. Guess since Covid more people making into the baking business and stuff.

My mom and my grandmas taught cooking, baking, sewing, embroidery, gardening since I was like 6/7 years old. My mom made me attend baking, cooking, sewing, embroidery etc classes every summer. So no chance of me failing I think.

Fiona dear, You made me look at the drama's cast page. And I laughed because yes, they are not eye-candy at all. A lot of middle aged or old men. So I understand you.

I hope they are good actors. They were cast for their talent I believe. 

To be honest so sorry to say they were terrible….. my eyes all on GuanYue. Really I am hahahhaa
