Awwwww wish we have this tradition where am at. I love Christmas and birthday sadly after they grown up no longer fun. But I still keep these 2 every year and oh for my mum Chinese new year too. Used to be New year too but since they grown up one after another preferred to celebrate with their friends or boyfriend sadly not in my list anymore. 

Love Christmas too. Gonna keep this tradition of dressing up for Halloween and Christmas even if they have family of their own. Hehehe They can do this one little thing for their parents whether they want to or not. Hehehe. Evil laughing and plotting!!!!!!

Hello Mooooonies...I am back! How is everyone? Dang, I feel like I have been away so long. 

I was away in Dubai for a holiday. It ended up not being a holiday. Sighs...plans of dessert safari, riding camels and visiting of souks went out the window when I came down with a bout of bad food poisoning and spent most of my holiday in the hotel room. At one point the doctor put me on the IV drip. Then I had an allergy to the antibiotics and broke out in hives. In pain and in itch. What else can go wrong. SIGHS!!! Did a bit of "revenge shopping" on the flight back and bought me a dainty 18k gold necklace from a Dubai jeweler brand from the in flight duty free shopping. A girl has gotta at least have her souvenir right? LOL This is going to be a memorable story to be told in the future but for now, I am not happy about it. Like come on... But that's life right, unexpected? LOL Oh wells....

Oh dear, Chun Tian, wat a horrible hol experience. Fabulous u bought a nice gift home!! You reminded me of my Roman holiday years ago. I stayed in a posh hotel and had vomiting bout for 1 night, KO for 2 days! The next day I went for revenge shopping too… Hahaha..

I just started The Rise of Ning 2 days ago and its quite good. I heard many people are dropping because they cant stand RenMins voice. Surprisingly I quite like her inside.

Thank you, Pythoes. Luckily most of the activities have not been booked because we wanted flexibility in moving the activities around. Otherwise it would have been a waste of the activity fees as well.  So those activity fees went into my necklace instead. Necklace shall be named the Dubai Mirage. LOL (see my reply to Megumi further down).

Gosh, you had your misadventure in Rome. Bummer right? Supposed to enjoy but not enjoying. LOL What did you get for your revenge shopping in Rome? Is it still something you use today?

Thank you, Joas, I am much better but still recovering. Tummy is currently very fussy about food, I have to be careful with what I eat and my family doctor has decided on a course of steroids for the hives. They are itchy and painful.  The necklace was something to make up for not having any activities at all! I did get to the Dubai Mall and went to the aquarium there. Got a couple of souvenirs there but overall it's like I did not get to do much. I did not even get to go up the Burj Khalifa. Grrrrr....

I will start on The Rise of Ning soon. Gege is in it right? Hopefully his role and the plot of RON is better than that in AYTO. I dropped AYTO.  Btw, did you finish watching Go West? Or you also dropped it?

Online shopping can be quite time consuming too! Unboxing is always fun to do!

I am still on the road to recovery, but better than the sorry state I was in whilst in Dubai. Now whenever I wear the necklace, I will remember this episode, which shall be named ChunTian's Dubai Mirage. Because ChunTian's mind imagined a dessert safari riding the camels over the dunes, camping in a traditional Arabic Camp, bargaining at the souks for a good buy etc. but it was all a mirage!! Dang you unexpected life events! Hahahaha...but it's ok, live to "fight" another day. I will be back Dubai! This time armed to the teeth with VITAMINs and all kinds of gastroenteritis meds!!!

Currently on mini vacation with my hubby. Gonna go back home tomorrow. Not going far, just stay at a resort in Hudson Valley (hehehe we don't even bother to drive far) . Not doing anything special too. Just sleep, woke up and eat then go back to sleep. Sigh. Oh we enjoyed spa and massage too though. Feels rejuvenating though. Going back home tomorrow. Sleeping in is the most wonderful thing in the world for us like winning million dollars lottery!
