Yes yes she is. Her first work I watched was Under the power. Btw Allen Ren is the first Cdrama actor I know hahahah so at that time hunted for his drama to watch. I am glad that accident watching a cdrama is a good choice. Crystal Liu is really good actress too.

My mandarin ok ok only and need a lot of googling for difficult words. Embarrassing … as a Chinese. I am bad with names too hahaha

I guess you are referring to the level of violence in The Love of Nirvana. Even Pearl Girl was on the violent side compared to our usual dramas. I stopped after EP 1. May or may not go back to PG.

I am glad they did not show Hou torturing Jing. I would be traumatised. (˚˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥) ‧º Just seeing Jing's scared body was enough to imagine the torture he went through. (つ╥﹏╥)つ

Trivia:

It was summer when they were filming the scene where Jing in his bad state was thrown out of the carriage by his brother. Weiwei was in make up in the wee hours of the morning and lay on the hot ground with mud and make up the whole day.  He was such a newbie then, I don't think anyone would bother much with his comfort. Poor baby. I can't remember the temperature, but I think it was those sort of at least around 35 'C. I wouldn't even step out of the AC on days like that and he was on the hot ground the whole day. I am glad it all paid off for him. Go Go TTEOTM, alumni!

I wish to travel to Mongolia (DengWei) but I don’t think I can live through 1 days….

I realise that Weiwei is not from Mongolia, the land of Ghengis Khan. But rather he is from Inner Mongolia which is considered part of China. Inner Mongolia is also an autonomous region so something like HK. Under China but sorta have their own local government. They also look something like Mongolia with the beautiful sprawling prairies of green fields in their outskirts with horses and live stock etc.

Weiwei is from Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, I think he was just pulling everyone's leg when he said his parents moved the tent before he got home from school because I think he is actually a city boy. But that would have been a cute sight right? Little Weiwei coming home from school on a horse and his family has moved off to the next spot with the cattle. LOL

Oh violence…… yes it was difficult to continue I took a few breaks to complete the first few episodes. Same for PearlGirl. I take breaks to breathe if that episodes too much to bear. Same for sad scenes. Kill me love me took me a few days to complete that last episode.

Jing? Lost you forever? The mud scene is torture enough to watch actually. I actually watch Lost you forever for him but ended up liking 2 more actors. Sorry DengWei…..

Oh really I will go have a look and read about the place he was born. Many told me he was born in Mongolia that was why I thought so. My Geography isn’t good lol oops! Yes I saw that interview that was why I didn’t bother to look at his birth place deeper.

I know right? After what he said I really thought he ride horses around. Did he do his own horse riding scene btw? I forgotten ….

Yes, Weiwei as Jing in LYF. That scene my heart was in pain for him. Poor baby.

I am guessing the other 2 more actors are Tan Jian Ci and Zhang Wan Yi?
