@ Fiona, I dunno wat happened… didn’t expect a local guide specifically for er mei shan. Such pleasant surprise ( yelping!!) at first we thot he was Korean Chinese and later found out he’s local guy.  Very gentle, nice spoken refined chap. His face got burnt when v reach the peak. Foggy,  and then sunny weather.. One friend offered to apply sun block for him… in front of hubby hahaha..  he blushed and said thank u I do it. We had 3 guides dat day..  Jiuzhaigo is beautiful, Er mei san and Huang long san  pretty .. Best get proper guide so no precious time is wasted. The hikes are ok, coaches up and down the mountains are good grief.  We took boat ride to Leshan. Super relaxing haha

May I know where you book for guide? Our LeShan trip was lucky too. Reaching there with high speed train and local guide was in the train station. Trusting them so we went with them and very honest telling me I cannot do both in a day unlike the random guy guide everything can everything can in the end ask you take photo and leave an didn’t take you to the place he promised. So we only went for the big Buddha didn’t go to ErMeiSan. The guide told me stay one night then next day can go but my daughter rushing to go back to ChengDu for her shopping. Sad sad I hope I able to find a travel partner who will do more sightseeing instead of shopping but not easy to do that.

Anyways, how not to be classified as an old cow when many talented actors are so young? Like Wang Xing Yue, Weiwei, Dylan and Neo etc etc .  Should we classify our Xixi as tender grass or would that be an insult to him since he is a fine aged wine at 36? LOL (  ≧ᗜ≦) ( ╹ -╹)?

@ Fiona, it’s quite a journey to Er mei san.. Need to travel about  1.5 to 2 hours up and then cable car to 3/4 mountain peak. After dat, walked up to peak.  If lucky, u ll be greeted by voluptuous monkeys with huge eyes!! When v were queuing for cable car, the area was blanked with fog! Wahaaa like in movie , some beast will pop out!.. a bit scary.  After q for more than an hour… the scenery was worth all the waiting and roller coaster rides..  Heavenly.  Apparently the local guide was a volunteer, but a licensed guide. We were plainly lucky dat week.  I know a local site dat can arrange day tours. I think it’s call ctrip, if u r ok with mandarin speaking guides. 

WOOT....more new dramas coming. I think Pearl Girl is coming up tomorrow.

Sleepless nights and more heart palpitations over "tender grasses" & fine aged wines. LOL
