Just finished the Legend of Concubine Zhen Huan and the FL lead is like that. It basically tells her entire adult life when she enters the Forbidden City and competing with the other concubines. She turns from this soft naive girl into this quick and cunning lady. The first few episodes are a bit dull but stick with it- its so worth it.
