I was just wondering why Bromance is on here. It is not BL. You say "hinted at" and is that because there is a girl cross-dressing as a boy? Other than that I don't remember any BL being hinted at? The secondary couple is even heterosexual.

I honestly don't remember. I watched it so long ago, there may have been a supporting character, but I don't remember one, but I can't 100% say I'm positive there wasn't either. I also just checked the tags, and I didn't see a gay character tag.

It's BL. It's just that they had to leave the relationship implied and not acknowledge it on screen but based on the actions, the longing eye gazing between these two and all the obvious pining you can see that they're in love and they're not just two best friends having a close friendship. It's even more obvious for those who read the novel and see all the scenes that might not mean much to those who are unfamiliar with it that imply romantic interest between them.
Also, the Special Edition that just finished airing for international fans it's very obvious that their intent was to portray their romantic relationship. So yes it's BL. The romance is heavily hinted at. Those who say otherwise are in denial tbh
