Mixed feelings so far: I love that it's a serious manga about mahjong (not like "Saki") but I love less that it's (of course!) about the Japanese version aka Riichi (which I'm not fond of, to be honest ^__^;;;...). Half the time I look at the characters' hands (as in, mahjong hands, not their anatomic parts, LOL) and cringe because they're described as such great hands whereas in Chinese mahjong (either MCR or HK with 3 or 4 fan minimum) they wouldn't even qualify as winning hands (as in, they're too simple to get = not enough points/fan)

Just finished "Umimachi Diary" (海街diary ) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umimachi_Diary) and it was absolutely fantastic. The movie was great, but of course the manga is so much better! ^__-
