Zi Yuan, weak from mourning the loss of Han Ye, falls unconscious for a couple of days, finally waking with a head of white hair. She convinces the Emperor to reinstate Ming Xi to his official position and Jin Yan as the heir of the Di family, however, she is not able to convince him that she and Jin Yan do not covet the throne.
