Make the best out of the limited-time drama duration
It is another short but fun web series that executed a well-presented love story from a lovely pair. The visuals and the chemistry are surely top-notch. The leads can surely know how to act and deliver their script flawlessly.I was in awe during one of their passionate kissing scenes; he lifted his head back to continue the attempted kiss was insanely great. They got closer the more alcohol they drank together. Also, the “good night” from the fifth episode was charming.
Jealousy can make the romance spicier in a good way. I love that sudden entrance of the male second lead. Although he only lasted for a single episode, it was enough to add flavor to the romance of the main couple.
In the finale, I think creating a history from them in the past was unnecessary but it was still cool. Nevertheless, ending the series in another fiery kiss like they wanted to eat each other so badly was phenomenal.

Oh THAT Kiss!!!
This short but unsullied movie, broken into 7 episodes, is surprisingly effective and very entertaining. While a few cringeworthy scenarios brought it down a few notches, there is one big framework that catapults it back up into the stratosphere, making it exceptionally rare for a KBL. This is an obviously low-budget production that has essentially two main characters and only a smattering of other characters. Thus, it is character driven. This series will not move mountains. But it will entertain you. Plus, the kissing (oh that kiss!) at the end is undoubtedly one of the best in a Korean BL you will see. It just feels so right. It is a fun series to watch!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Focused on the leads
What I like about this mini series is even if it’s a short series they abled to showcase the love story of the main leads, they focused on them. I was just smiling the whole time, it is short and simple but wholesome. I hope all of producers of short kbl should do this if they can’t produce a big series atleast try to create a reasonable one, Im getting tired of watching long story bl series with lots of unnecessary plots, stories that’s not relevant to the main lead it’s a waste of time like watching for 12-13 eps with 1 hr or more per episodes and then you will just see the story of the main lead getting together and kissed at the end of the series. Ive watched a lot of short kbls and most of them tried to be very creative even in a short period of time making it unreasonable at some point and left a lot of room for improvement, but this one im very satisfied because they focused on the main leads. I didn’t say it’s perfect though it is really good for a short series.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

A normal office romance
In my opinion My Damn Business had its ups and downs like for me I felt the show was good at the beginning, but then it became a little boring to me that I kinda didn’t want to watch it anymore since the plot wasn’t really moving anywhere. I will warn that there may be spoilers so be aware.I felt this plot was basic because we have seen the office romance so many times and only a few were actually good. I really love Su An and I feel like he’s so precious, but even though he looked so adorable he was a very cold character, but it makes sense because of what he experienced from his past relationships. The plot starts off with Han U Jin as the team leader who just got told that their company is losing so many employees and that they may need to shut down the company which means that he basically had no one in his team until he was given Su An to join his team. U Jin was very enthusiastic and happy to see someone knew, but Su An was like the definition of an introvert which was wanting to not have any conversations with him. One day Su An gave U Jin a flash drive for a presentation to be looked at, but instead he gave him his friends BL novel that she was making and U Jin was very surprised by seeing it and kept asking Su An if that was the way he likes his relationships to be or if that’s his type. This made Su An want to stay as far and as cold as he can be to U Jin because he kept teasing him which made Su An sad until Su An heard from Hwang that U Jin faced a yelling from the owner of the company since he took the blame then Su An had a change of heart and they went out for drinks, but while they were drinking U Jin asked if they can date and then Su An said sure and they kissed, but the next day they acted like they weren’t dating and were back to being just team leader and team member. Then Su An heard U Jin on a call who said that he doesn’t want to date a younger guy and stuff which made Su An not like him again until they were on an overnight trip together and Su An told him the truth and how his ex’s were and how he doesn’t trust men anymore and then U Jin said he won’t be like them so they started dating again. Then they were on a cafe date, but it was also a meeting and who they were meeting with was Su An’s senior Yeong Chan and they were flirting and had more chemistry than U Jin and Su An, but U Jin got jealous and talked with Su An about it and they moved on with them kissing each others hand. The show ended with the company shutting down and they are packing up and U Jin tells Su An that he saw him at a cafe when he used to work there and kept visiting it because of him.
Before they’re about to leave they have a kissing scene and that’s how the show ended which was kinda not the best ending because we don’t get to see them outside of the office or what they did with their life. Overall, the show was very short but also was kinda good at certain points, but I do recommend if you like office romances or like short BLs.

Quite nice
I liked it a lot more than I expected. The actors did a good job and the story was pretty well written. Kind of wished it was longer, the two guys were just so sweet like candy.Han U Jin- He seemed like a chill guy who goes after what he wants, very determind I guess. I think this is the first time I have seen this actor.
Yun Su An- I liked him because he seemed professional with his mind on one path. He was also sweet at times with his cute but alluring eyes. I didn't recognize him but when I saw his past projects I realized that I have seen him before in His, Ice Cream and Actor:eal which I thought were quite good.
Hwang- I loved the fact that he kept walking in on the couple. His reactions were funny, especially in the last episode. I have seen the actor in Fake Buddies and thought that he was really good.

they just sort of happened i guess
it's hard to judge something this short for lacking depth but i wish they should have just focused more on the actual romance like the two just getting to know each other/bonding instead of adding irrelevant elements like that other guy or the misunderstanding phone call bit or even the friend who is a manhwa artist. the romance would've been more believable that way even if it was short i think. i just did not fully believe the romance since in my eyes, those two are strangers. nevertheless, they're cute and i did see chemistry so 🤷♀️Esta resenha foi útil para você?
very sweet, but too short!
there are so many great factors to this series, but the most important one is the casting! both of the leads had incredible chemistry together, and they delivered in so many great ways in such a short time. it saddens me that this series was so short, and that we still have these small studios doing such heavy lifting when it comes to queer media in south korea. they have some of the most interesting stories, with some great castings, but ultimately are limited on how much they can do.as far as the story itself goes, it had some tropes that i personally would love to see more: older characters! there is a lot of college and university based series, and this story revolving around professional workplace situations and matured characters (in every sense), felt refreshing.
i hope that people can support the studio directly so we can get more great series from them with longer productions. we can take the initiative to get these studios funded, it's just a matter of putting in the work. i would love to see these actors get more work, both in queer media and outside of it. they both worked incredibly well and created a lasting impression!

Lo bueno si breve...
... ¿dos veces bueno?La historia es corta a más no poder, muy cute y la actuación no está mal. ¿Aportará algo a tu vida?

Han Woo Jim is the leader of sales team 2 who has received a dissolution notice amid the company's management crisis. He is in charge of closing deals with the associated companies he has managed within a period of three months. Left alone in his office, Yoon Su An, a deputy manager of the support team, is sent to temporarily help sales team 2.
Yoon Su An is a young man capable enough to work under Han's orders. And the latter ends up falling in love with the personality and beauty of his office colleague, when a small incident brings them face to face with each other. In this way, the lives of the two young people will change when they come into contact with each other.
With just the two of them in the office, Han can't help but notice Yoon's distant attitude. But the constant closeness will make their hearts end up broken as the days go by and they will have to deal with an office romance.
The South Korean small screen has office romances as one of its calling cards, thanks to numerous series that reflect the romantic relationships that occur between people within the four walls of any institution, relationships that can be short-term or long-lasting, and They can occur between co-workers at the same level or workers in a hierarchical relationship.
'My Damn Business' follows the path started by other series that have provided us with clear proof that love can be found in the most unlikely places, such as the also South Korean series 'Business Proposal', 'What's Wrong With Secretary Kim', ' My Secret Romance', 'Her Private Life', 'Romance Is A Bonus Book', 'My Shy Boss', among others.
Many Asian television stations are not far behind in telling this type of romance. There we have the Chinese 'Capture Lover' ('Bing Tang Xian Jing') and 'Beloved Enemy'; the Thai 'Step by Step', 'Paint With Love' and 'Cherry Magic Thailand'; the Japanese '30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Narerurashii' and the Taiwanese 'We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd', 'HIstory 4: Closet to You' and 'Be Loved In House', to name just a few, but The latter have in common with 'My Damn Business' that they address a love story between boys.
Even animes like 'Atarashii Joushi wa Do Tennen' address romances taking place in the offices of any company, series that at the same time expose relationships of camaraderie in work settings between employees and between them and managers, and serve as a fascinating portrait of the work life, many times without them being about anything in particular, but they are perfect for those moments when one just wants to disconnect from one's own reality.
Back to 'My Damn Business': this series, produced by GND Studio, fully inserts its plot in a company office in the South Korean capital, to mock the strict human resources policies that make it seem like romances in the environment work are doomed to fail, while reflecting the birth of a romance between two co-workers.
In a comedic tone, bright, affectionate and without great pretensions, from the first frames you will be hooked on its fun and romantic story, while it embroiders a story that describes the love of a boss and his subordinate. Quite a guilty pleasure for many viewers.
And it successfully meets that objective. The characters of Han Yu Jim and Yoon Su An breathe truth. The second one is definitely coded as a shy cat, and Han Yu Jim is the big doggo who complements the dynamic perfectly. Despite their different characters, they merge a loving relationship that arose in the heat of everyday life in the office.
With small doses of comedy that really works, the story of 'My Damn Business' stars actor Jung Jae Bin in the role of Han Yu Jin, and Jeon Yu Bin, who wears Yoon Su An's clothes.
Jung Jae Bin is known for starring in the film 'Three of Us' and the series 'BReal Bro&Sis', both from 2022, and Jeon Yu Bin is remembered by BL lovers for his starring roles in the drama 'Actor:eal', 2024, and for playing Yu Yong in the film 'His, Ice Cream' (2022), and Lee Hyun Woo in the series 'Judo Boys' ('Blue of Winter' - 2022).
For his part, Hwang Min Hwan, known for playing the Boyfriend in the drama 'Fake Buddies', from 2024, and Park Jung Woo in the series 'Sweat Romance' (2019) and 'Sweat Romance 2' (2020), intervenes to play Hwang, a recruiter in charge of introducing the two protagonists.
Han Woo Jim and Yoon Su An are credible beings who even become endearing to the viewer, despite the series not having a deep plot, a serious conflict, or a story arc that delves into the psyche of the characters. and is only interested in showing the daily life of two young people who, due to circumstances, are forced to work side by side, resulting in them getting closer, getting to know each other, beginning to help each other, while they discover what they carry inside. In short, a kind of balm for an escape from reality.
A type of series that I don't know if they are becoming more popular or if I am paying more attention to them now, but every time I am coming across more of these comedy or romance stories.
In a delicate mix of wit, silly humor and heart with a lot of potential, through these two characters, the director creates a drawing – deep and noble, individualized, rich in color and warmth – of two young people who fall in love between computers and sales management charts.
I know that at first glance this is not a series for everyone, that the short duration (only 7 episodes of 11 minutes on average) does not allow us to delve deeper into the personality of the characters or to develop conflicts and tensions, a small cast in terms of quantity and diversity of characters, the absence of a specific plot beyond "have they already confessed their love or will we have to wait for the next episode?" and that humor that is enjoyed even if sometimes it is not understood because it is very "Korean", I would encourage giving 'My Damn Business' a chance because it is a fun and tender series with which to have a good time and disconnect from everything .
But despite this, or because of it, when seeing the way in which the director transmits the feelings, humanity and the growing romantic relationship of his central characters - without grandiloquence, with virtuous simplicity -, one cannot help but think about series like ' 'The New Employee' by Kim Jo Kwang Soo, 'Love Mate' by So Joon Moon, and 'Jun & Jun' by Kim Eun Hye, all Korean, all 2023. And that's the biggest compliment I could receive 'My Damn Business'.

Cute
I really like the show, do not expect the extraordinary storyline or direction (not that they're bad or anything, the story is pretty decent tbh). It is really cute, with some amazing acting by both the leads, the interractions are funny and they're very pleasing to look at especially the older guy or designated 'top', very handsome.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Is this your type?
The short answer is, "YES." The opening line of this series is very direct, and the storyline begins with Mr. Hans discovering Suan's preferences and asking, "Is this your type?"Jung Jae Bin looks incredibly attractive here, and Jeon Yu Bin provides a nice balance to Jae Bin's dominant appearance. This series is too short; it is a mini-series with about 10 minutes per episode. I believe it shouldn't run weekly; at least two episodes should be released per week.
