Why i didn't really liked it
For me this Japanese BL wasn't really for me...At first i was into it but the more i watched all the episodes the more i was less and less into it. Im not saying that the actors weren't acting well that's the opposite they did act pretty well in my opinion but the only reason i didn't really liked it is because i didn't really find the story really logical, i was most of the time lost because i didn't understood a thing of what was happening do yeah it was difficult for me to keep watching the entire series without getting bored or lost at a point. But overall its not the worst Japanese BL i watched in like 6years..
Things to know is that probably some people will do like it of course but for me it didn't suit my taste.

IMPOSSÍVEL SHIPPAR O CASAL PRINCIPAL QUANDO TUDO É HORRÍVEL
Que tristeza que foi assistir isso.Começando pelo mais básico, os protagonistas não combinam de forma alguma, é mais do que falta de química eles simplesmente parecem desproporcionais juntos e a parte visual é importante para te manter interessando, como eu não tive isso a história já começou muito mal.
O dono do restaurante é mil vezes mais interessante que o funcionário de escritório. Sakae era muita areia pro caminhãozinho do Hisashi que claramente não o merecia.
Hisashi se comporta de maneira tão irracional e egoísta durante toda a série que eu sinceramente preferia o Sakae com o ex dele.
Acho que esse é o ponto central e foi a gota d'água pra mim, o ex namorado do Sakae era muito mais interessante que o Hisashi, ele era mais bonito, tinha mais atitude, parecia verdadeiramente apaixonado pelo Sakae apesar do passado e eles com certeza tinham mais química.
Além disso tivemos problemas inúteis no final que levaram a relação deles ao fundo do poço pra mim, Sakae foi trouxa ao extremo nessa relação relevando tudo e tentando fazer funcionar (mas só ele cedia), eu definitivamente não os queria juntos e isso é a pior coisa que você pode desejar assistindo um BL.

Very funny and sweet!
I didn't know what to expect of this drama since the actors and the trailers seemed to focus more on a comedic vibe rather than an iconic dashing BL couple vibe (like Kimi ni wa todokanai for example), but this drama was really good! My only issue is that the length is a bit long at 10 episodes of 20 minutes, but all characters were a joy to watch and it was really nice that everyone around Soga-san and Sakae-san accepted their sexuality and relationship as if it was the most normal thing.The dynamic of the couple is really unique, a young izakaya/restaurant owner and a salaryman customer meet and while their personalities are wildly different, they feel drawn to each other and their feelings deepen more every time. As a viewer, you can feel the relationship becoming less formal and more comfortable for the two characters. While the drama is definitely a comedic one, the romance feels real and cosy. I recommend this drama not only to BL enjoyers but to comedy/romcom/slice of life enjoyers as well.
There's enough intimate scenes to make me satisfied, I don't think this BL needed anything spicier than what was in the drama. I hope this drama gets the appreciation it deserves.

Hideyoshi es probablemente lo mejor de la serie
Siento que tuvo un gran inicio, pero luego la historia de Sakae y Soga dejó de importarme tanto como debería haberme importado. Es más, hubo una buena parte de la historia en la que deseé que Sakae acabase con Mizuki, aun sabiendo que es alguien que tiene miedo al compromiso y grandes posibilidades de acabar siendo infiel... pero es que la química entre ellos dos es mil veces mejor que la que tienen los protagonistas.Sin embargo, he de decir que la actuación de Hideoshi me parece tremenda y me gustaría verle en más series del estilo.

Not Faithful to the Source Material
The Japanese title sounded familiar, so I looked it up and realized that I read the manga. This manga is from 2013, so I had to go back and read it. They should have stuck more closely to the source material. I think the actors were good,.There was too much filler to stretch the series and I wish they would have stuck closer to the manga.

1. The exes. No Mizuki, and the ex-wife is just mentioned in passing in the manga. A weakness of the series is, more lovey-dovey time was spent between Mizuki and Sakae, than Soga and Sakae in the series, did not happen in the manga.
2. In the manga, Soga reveals he is divorced right away.
3. In the manga, Soga is from Shikoku, not Tokyo, so no return to Tokyo.
4. In the manga no break-up, no LDR.
5. In manga, no filler such as the birthday party plans, the meddling co-workers.
6. Part 1 of the manga is Sakae x Soga, but Part 2 is about Kaname and and a salaryman, who is a regular and Tamae, is from Tokyo and hates vegetables.

A Series That Spins Its Wheels
This series looks and feels good, superficially. It had all the earmarks of being a very good story but fell so flat as the story progressed. It seemed to lack an ending that wanted to make a definitive statement; so, it chose to go cute. The series is just too short to develop any meaningful characters, which is a serious problem. It tried to be light fluff with a serious matter which I wish they would have treated with solemnity. Also, quit treating gayness with kit gloves. Mediocre
Didn’t expect much from this drama since the reviews weren’t the best and the ratings aren’t high. But overall this show is mediocre, the story is mediocre, the acting is mediocre, the chemistry is mediocre, everything is just mediocre. I wasn’t very entertained and lowkey forced myself to finish this series because I had like 2-3 episodes left but I considered dropping, there’s nothing special about this show and it’s even cringe and embarrassing at times. This is common in shows/BL’s, mainly Japanese ones but like this show doesn’t do a good job at compensating us for the cringe/embarrassing moments so it just adds to how bad it is. It felt like I was watching 2 teens try to have a adult/mature relationship but failing miserably, I can’t believe these are adults who are prob in their late 20s/ early 30s. Soga was so unbelievably annoying, his cringe personality and annoying way of speaking, the stops he would take in every micro phrase he would say drove me nuts, and the shy behavior was so annoying too omg. Sakae was more bearable, he had his cringe moments but he had a better personality than Soga. Overall this show is just something you would watch if you had nothing else to do/watch, you won’t gain anything from watching and it’s overall basic and just your “typical” love story.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Better Ways To Enjoy Your Time!
as i say in most all of my reviews:remember reviews are only good for the person that wrote them. we all have different perspectives and interests, so what i say here may be the complete opposite of what you see when you view the series.
that said, and to keep this short, i was not fond of the script or the actors. the only reason i completed this show is simply because i started it and I didn't intend to do that. it was a complete accident.
i enjoyed the music. the ex was annoying. the kiss scenes were awkward. the actors tried to work with what they had, but it was an uphill battle from the start. the female work friend was hilarious to me.

Not that great but not that bad either
Ain’t the most appealing and entertaining J-BL this year yet I’m happy they tried and make things work. The love story was light and the chemistry was alright but it took me a while before being absorbed into their characters. The inconsistency in each episode is also there as sometimes I got too bored but there are also times that I was smiling with them.The memorable parts of this drama were the sauna scenes that seldom missed a single episode without having one of their conversation inside the hot room. I must also say that the childish fight right after becoming an official couple was indeed cute. Sakae-kun is handsome and emits the lighter version of the word sexy.
But the best part that the show has to offer was to bless me with such a cool setup of OSTs. ‘Palette’ by SG and ‘I’ll Be There’ by Genic were playing on repeat in my playlist. It was so good that it also helped the drama to be more catchy and have an average rating score.

No esperaba mucho, pero es que esto es aburridísimo.Tenemos al actor que hace de Soga, que parece que tiene más de 40 años y que ha pasado por 3 divorcios seguidos, cuando el personaje tiene aparentar 29. Además, a mi personalmente me da un poco de cringe por su forma de sentir/pensar es muy infantil, y por como se comporta a veces. Después tenemos al otro chico que hace de Sakae que hace que esto de alguna manera sea visible por así decirlo, pero tampoco es algo excepcional.
En cuanto a la química de la pareja, parece que ninguno de los 2 actores quiere estar ahí porque es no tienen ninguna, sobre todo el actor que hace de Soga tampoco es que ponga mucho de su parte, es que literalmente Mizuki y Sakae tienen muchísima más química y tienen 5 min de screen time. La actuación es mediocre al igual que la historia y todo lo demás. Otra cosa que no entiendo es que pinta la ex de Soga aquí, pero bueno.
Habrá gente que dirá que son muy monos, pero al menos para mi no los veo ni como una pareja, Soga prácticamente no ha hecho nada por Sakae en ningún aspecto, Mizuki ha hecho mucho más y ni era su pareja.
En conclusión, no lo volvería a ver aún perdiendo la memoria, es completamente insulsa y aburrida.

A PERFECT Japanese bl
This show was just so well done. It had the perfect length as well as progression/development between the couple. Not to mention the two leads had such strong chemistry. The scene where they’re rolling on the floor was sooo good it literally melted my heart! ALSOOOOO I was surprised but the communication between the two leads is really good. I HATE miscommunication but they communicate so well and just suit each other which I love.It’s not a crazy exciting plot but more so a normal slice of life but it’s done so well.
I personally liked all of the characters as well.
and I’m just glad I found this show. Definitely one of my favorite Japanese bls. Highky recommend

Hideyoshi Kan on the BL planet
Most Japanese BLs in nonschool settings have foods to connect and to tell a story. This one operates the same, where we have a handsome, charming young man who runs small food corners (I would not call it a restaurant). While the story, based on the premise, is so much usual, nothing extreme and nothing new-- I think honestly, I don't look forward to how it progresses---Sukiyaken is still worth watching. It is a reminder of what it is like to live on BL planet, where being gay is so acceptable and normal. And seeing Kan Hideyoshi on this planet is so refreshing.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
