This show is so cringy and bad! Couldn't even get passed ep 4

I really tried my hardest and I rarely drop series cuz I want to give it a chance but the acting/script that was given to them was completely garbage. It was extremely hard to get through that I kept skipping scenes to the point that I wasn't even watching the show anymore. I don't recommend it to anyone unless you are desperate and even then don't waste your time. The doctor stalks his ex after they broke up and continues to annoy the other ml to get back with him once he finds out his ex works at this convenience store that is near his job. He makes his job difficult to be at until he gets his way, before I dropped the show it looked like the ml who works at the convenience store was starting to let him back into his life but mostly cuz the doctor is a childish annoying whinny baby threatened him that he will come to his job every single day until he started to talk to him again I think. I don't remember cuz I forgot this show existed cuz of how bad this is and started to watch better written and have better actors. I tried to watch it after the break I took and couldn't tolerate how annoying a childish the doctor was to get his ex back talking in baby.

Annoying & Boring

The whole reason for Venus being a total jerk to Sky for hours on end is all because he turned him down 3 years ago?!?
So it went like this:
These two were best buds and one day Venus says "Oi Sky, I really fancy you, lets snog" (or words to that effect), Sky having tried the "snog", very gently replies that he get's it, but that he would rather stay friends, just as they have always been (not unreasonable I felt considering he just got this bomb shell dropped on him).
Venus then has a hissy fit at "being rejected" ?? and storms out never to speak to his best friend again.

So am I to assume, in the narcistic world of Venus, anyone who dares to say "no" gets dumped and blocked? And this is the premise for this whole boring story?
Well sorry producers & writers, it was utter rubbish and Venus needed a reality check and Sky needed a decent new boyfriend!

Bad actors... and plot.

While the story-line is flat and the conflict only exists because of the stubborn and butthurt main character, the actors didn't develop the characters at all. Though some think they had chemistry - especially in the NC scenes- i would have to completely disagree. The actors didn't have any raw chemistry and thus they have no on-screen chemistry. They also acted awkwardly throughout the series and the painful attempts at comedy were almost laughable. The MC and other actors were acting with RBFs and with repetitive expressions making the watching experience sufferable.

Something that irritated me are the NC scenes, while some were moderately steamy the attempt at making it either comical or hot ruined them completely. In ep 8 when Sky and Venus make up and get it on their endeavour at making it hot bites them in the ass. They were completely out of sync while kissing and it was obvious that they tried to be like in the big leagues. Based on what i saw the actors were most likely not comfortable with each other nor right for roles as each other's lovers.

The plot only consists of him liking his friend back in school but getting rejected and never forgiving him. He's without a doubt the most selfish person, whether your crush likes you or not doesn't deside how you're going to treat them from then on.

The reason i gave this a 2 is only because of the second couple, although it's a little weird that bomb looks like venus I'm going to assume it's a coincidence and even though i liked them the most in this series i didn't have the same feelings for them as i did with many other couples or pairings.

This series wasn't good enough to finish and i wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Cringingly funny

I started watching because the algorithm brought it up and I thought I'd give it a try. I'm not going to lie....I spent a lot of time wondering why I was watching it. It was slow and a bit lame.

Let's be real here - Sky is a stalker. I've said it! Sitting outside someone's house every day isn't normal, especially when your crush clearly has no interest in you....but this is the BL world.

However....every so often, I can't stop laughing. Sky/Guy's jealous face makes me laugh as does his 'pouty toddler face'. He has such a lovely smile too! My favourite face is the utter disdain on Venus' face when I know he's thinking: what is he saying?' - about Sky. I also laugh as he desperately tries not to laugh in some scenes. Sometimes I don't know if I should laugh or cringe at some of the scenes.

Janus & Bom are fun and their NC scene took me (and Venus!) by surprise. Tonkla and Tong are a bit dull....but they are probably the most real: two busy people trying to keep their relationship from falling apart.

Venus and Sky's first NC scene was a bit more realistic than I expected, in some places! In fact, most of their NC scenes were way more realistic than I expected.

What I liked: Janus - he can be so full of angst one minute and then really funny the next. There's a particular scene in the last episode that made me laugh so much. He was like a crazy person.

Something else that made me laugh is Sky's weird contorted mouth when he was kissing - he didn't do it every time. It seemed to be when he was in an awkward position. I found it so funny that I'm laughing now as I think about it!

What I didn't like: Sky's over the top toddler behaviour when he didn't get what he wanted. Stop!

Overall, not the best BL drama I've seen but it was funny for so many reasons.

Ordinary enemies to lovers full of fluff

This is light, fluffy, filled with hilarious comedy, and easily digest for the brainless me who hate heavy story. !!Only for those who need to refresh their mind with simple-story series!!
Story 8/10, I personally love enemies to lovers trope with light conflict especially misunderstanding that made my heart aches once or twice cause I hate angst but I want to cry a bit, and I hate thinking too much when watching a series.
Acting 7/10, not the great great one but already facing the right direction. Special shout out to Tod for his gaze and his hilarious act, I enjoyed this series mostly because of him and how "real" his eyes are. I appreciate the "sip pal (re: numbers in korea)" scene but for some scene I did ask myself "am I watching prn?". I think there's no need to go that far.
Music 7/10, love the music in ep8 when Sky kissed Vee's hand after they made up ㅠㅠ but the music for the "sip pal" scene are comedic :")
Rewatch? Yes, absolutely. But maybe 2x speed and some skips.
By the way...
It's been so long since I feel like missing a Thai series right after the series ended, the "IT'S END ALREADY?! I WANT MORE" feeling.

A little slow at first but worth it

I’m puzzled about the low ratings too. I agree that it started out pretty slow but it ramped up later and didn’t slow down.

The couples were great. Loved the main couple and their chemistry but Janus and Bomb stole the show for me. They are cute as can be and so funny. The cat…. ????

This whole thing was about relationships and how to love each other, through thick and thin. Even going through hardships, it’s possible to make it work. Communication is key.

The story was good.
The acting was good.
The music was good.
The intimate scenes were definitely steamy.

What’s not to love?

Slow burn you need to watch

After episode 3 I was completly invested. It is a slow burn, but the chemistry is there in spades. If you appreciate a good romance story with undoubtly queer storytelling, this is a series for you. The side couples are also good and have engaging plot lines of their own, and not just as fillers.

The series is quite spicy, but it doesn’t feel added for shock value and misplaced. It feels as its there to drive the story further and as a tool to show the progression of the relationships between the couples. Also, they all have great chemistry in their pairings.

I just love the cuteness, affection, spicyness and clear love in this series. The actor who plays Sky is a standout to me, and I’m now a fan.

I adored this!

This show is definitely fluffy and not meant to be so serious. It's intentionally cheesy nature is a trope I also love, so if it's not your thing you may not enjoy it. I agree with others that it was a little slow, but it still kept me engaged and I had a positive experience and would definitely rewatch it.

Every couple (especially the main) sold TFFFFFF out of those NC scenes! It took me so off guard since this was such a fun and silly show. ? but I loved it. ? It was also more realistic, like no "sexy" room or sheets, just your ordinary cat print bedding. ???

This show doesn't deserve so much hate!

I'm not sure why this got such bad reviews! I loved it, especially Tod and Cheque's acting ability. How many actors out there (especially in BL) can act out a NC scene and have viewers questioning whether it's real or acting? I liked the storyline behind it and the slow build up to understanding why it took so long for them to finally get together. Why this has so much hate, I'll never understand. I'm so glad I didn't listen to the reviews after reading some of them, otherwise I'd have missed out on a great series! It's a must watch and I highly recommend this show to anyone!

Should be called "Sky getting on Venus"

I'm so glad I had a second rewatch of this, I completely skipped out on watching episode 10, which is my favorite. This series was cute If you start at episode 7

Sky & Venus: Venus annoyed me up til episode 7, poor sky was trying to make amends for what he did in the past and he was trying to be happy and let Venus know that he cared about him and Vee was so mean to him, I do like though when Sky went silent for a while, Venus realized he could lose sky if he kept up the act he was doing. Venus also annoyed me during the special episode when Sky was sick and Vee saw the pills, instead of asking Sky what this was, he just left and ignored him. Not to mention, Sky was sick and took care of Venus when he was sick but Vee couldn't stay to ensure Sky was okay.

Janus & Bomb: These two were so funny, I love that they could care-lesswhere they did it. I like that they both didn't let Bomb's mother dictate if they dated or not and they showed her that they love each other.

Tong & Kla: These two were okay, I'm a big Max Detter fan so I loved him but after these two sorted out their differences, they were pretty cute.

it feels like watching a school play

Okay, the story is very predictable but right up my alley. From the start, you know Venus and Sky will end up together, because, hello, name of the show.. but the road towards that end was very.. amateuristic. Half of the time I felt like watching a school play, especially Venus, sorry to say, but I just didn’t feel it. His ‘love’ felt really forced which totally ruined the re-watch value of the show for me. I do hope to see Tod in other shows though, his smile lit up the room, he was much more genuine.
As for the NC scenes, they have to be some of the most explicit and spiciest I’ve seen in a BL, so a lot of credit to the actors and directors for that.
Now just work on the emotions part of the show and you’ve got a winner for sure ?

Eu amei o elenco, e a história não é ruim ( embora seja bem clichê ). O problema, no meu ponto de vista, foi a direção ruim. Pode-se notar que foi uma produção relativamente simples, mas com um belo elenco e boas cenas hot. Faltou um pouco de continuidade em alguns momentos, enquanto que, em outros momentos, foram acrescentadas situações e personagens que simplesmente não tinham nenhum motivo para estar ali, totalmente desnecessários para a trama. O episódio especial apenas "cortou" um dos casais, nos deixando a ver navios... mas Vee e Sky são fofos, lindos, e beijaram de verdade, então valeu muito a pena.
