Childhood friends meet again !
This drama had a lot of potential! but i didnt feel it met it nor did it fail it... Kinda in the middle of me. It's super cute because of the leads as kids and getting together and spending time together. However I wasnt as fond when they are in high school together.Female lead moves back to her own hometown due to her mother's work. There she meets her childhood friend the male lead. However their initially meeting up isnt happy due to the misunderstanding of when they were young. Female lead moved to the big city with her mom and the male lead wasnt there to say goodbye. She wrote him letters but he never wrote back.
The female lead goes back to her hometown school and everyone thinks she is goddess, so she has to fake it out but reality she is a boss!! The flashbacks of when she is younger is way too cute! She become friends with Tao Zhu. The male lead is in the same class as female lead. He also turns out to be the manga/anime artist that she really likes. His true identity is a secret.
There is the class monitor who is jealous of the friendship the leads have together and she does things to interfere.
Female lead finally figures out their misunderstanding! Whats cute is that the male lead is an manga artist and drew about her and his relationship. They both have mint plants and the flower language means to meet again ! They even made a necklace out of the mint leave.
The ost are really cute and sweet.
One slight downfall was there wasnt any kissing. Their relationship is very sweet, pure and cute! I mean they are portraying high school characters , so i guess they gotta keep in PG haha. I would love to see a season 2.
Cant get over how cute the younger versions of themselves were!

Tasted like mint - incredibly bitter but a little fresh feels
Wid hidden identities, unexpected connections & childhood friends reunited as a quarrelsome pair, Summer Again combines a lot of tropes dat have been somewhat exhausted, but does "boast an unexpectedly lively cast". I loved de way it was shot in Pingtan Island, Fuzhou. As the production team seems so set on creating a dreamlike, picture-perfect tone that it unfortunately works against them in a lot of scenes.Chen Heyi, who plays his first lead role in this drama, takes to his character with surprising ease and presents a very comfortable performance. It’s also Ni Kexin’s first time playing female lead in a romance, and she does so with applaudable gumption.The ending song enriched the sweetness through the whole show.
They’ve also surrounded de two leads wid lively characters 4 friends & it sets de mood well in more comical & upbeat group scenes. Any1 lookin 4 an easy watch is much better off watching dis.

Must Watch it
i really dont usually write review... bt i write now becus this is darn gd.. i have watched a lot of youth drama and among them this is one of the best... the story of each lead is so relatable which makes it more loveble. if ur thinking whether u should watch it or not i would say give it a try hope u would not regret... i just finished watching this . the ost is also sweet... it had a happy ending.... moreover all the leads had their problm solved in the end of the day... well each lead had a pathetic story which again proves that our life is full of imperfections bt still we can overcome it by confidence and positivity.. i wont gonna give any spoiler just watch it you would enjoy it...^_^

An awesome and worth watching drama
I'm writing this review while watching the drama, that is to say that I haven't completed it yet. I think I'm gonna give it a try (writing it in this way), so that it becomes more detailed (don't worry it's definitely gonna be spoiler free) and my most accurate thought about it.As you must've read the sypnosis already, lets skip that part and jump directly into the must watch reasons of the drama without giving a second thought :
1. The FL and ML really breaks the stereotype :
• She doesn't have bangs and a short hair, well that was more than enough for me to catch attention.
• She isn't the poor academic student (well that's really rare, isn't it ?).
• Infact she's a normal student, nor so good and so bad either ( The perfect balance ).
• ML isn't the topper of the class nor is he any celebrity kinda student. ( FL is shown as a famous student instead, but in a normal way no hype and all ).
• He isn't cold and talks with everyone, unlike other dramas where the ML is portrayed like some god or legend, hard to reach and all.
