One giant Hot Mess
Veteran cast with great 1st episode and the script lost its way to nowhere land. I thought it focused on "Trolley Dilemma" instead it felt more like a woman's bad luck in choosing a husband. The only reason I continued is because I loved Kim Hyun Joo ever since she was in the 1999 drama "Into the Sunlight"
Park Hee Soon (ML) was powerful in My Name
Kim Mu Yeol so memorable in Bad Guys: City of Evil
All such great actors and I just kept hoping that this drama will take it somewhere eventually. But that didn't happen and partly with the twists felt out of place. Other part was the good to bad characters ratio is way off making this drama hard to watch.

A Sketchy Tramway
They had a solid idea for a drama but they were totally clueless for how to fit it into a 16 episodes mold. The trolley dilemma was a poor idea to implement in the drama. They were afraid that the viewers may not notice so they went ahead to explain the trolley dilemma multiple times. The FL's kid was learning about it with visuals in school. Kinda insulting. Its finale execution of this analogy turned out to be disappointing and bland, especially after shoving it in our faces endlessly and having the drama named after it. Anyway, the drama was plagued by narrative and writing problems, especially with its horrible and dysfunctional characterization.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
A bold and daring plot that is more profound than initially perceived.
It's a slow burner that starts off strong, gets a little confusing in the middle, and then ramps up toward the end. Very twisty in unexpected ways that admittedly might lose some viewers. But if you stick with it, it does wrap up neatly.I found the series to be very insightful on the issue of sex crimes and the intersection of law, society, politics, and media. I think it handled it pretty well and I worry some of the most significant takeaways might be missed by those who haven't spent enough time learning and empathizing with victims and/or those who dismiss them altogether. Those are the people who need to pay the most attention!
This is the first series in a very long time where I found myself wanting to rewatch it to further dissect it and have a discussion with somebody on it. Very thought-provoking drama that I'd recommend to those who like the topics mentioned but also like dramas that require your attention to uncover the messages in between the lines.

Awful plot twists
Really i have never been so disappointed with a tv show, ever. This k drama starts with a serious and powerful argument, promising greatness becauae of very good casting and again, arguments. But NO... at episode 12 or so, everything started to crumble in a very confusing way. All the arguments at the beginning seemed to fade away for no reason, main characters started to be unrecognizable and actually i dont even know what was the final objective. Just awful. If you watch it prepare for very lazy writing...Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Trainwreck
The solution to trolley problem, according to this drama, is a trainwreck.Don't chose between few and many, just pile them up on top of each other and sabotage the wheels too so the trolley falls over too after running over everyone else.
And true to that notion, the final episodes are absolute trash.
Not that the first 3/4 or so were so great, either. It was an extremely slow melodrama, with awfully dumb and naive FL who was not at all sympathetic even tho the story did everything to paint her as such. Truly the slowest story progression I've ever seen. And if only the plot reveals were worth it! But no, it jumped from one lackluster reveal to another, in between constant flashbacks to shit we've already seen and prolonged scenes like FL taking a whole minute to decide to answer a phone call or not EACH AND EVERY TIME.
But the absolute garbage the story turned in the end is second to none.
The morals are very sus too ,"sympathize with rapist if he committed suicide" and "tell on your own family if they broke the law" aren't things I can agree with.
Not even superb acting from almost everyone involved, especially Park Hee Soon and Kim Mu Yeol, could save this one. The camera work, scenery and soundtrack were wasted too (not that the ost is that strong anyway, it had like one memorable melody it kept overusing). Don't let anyone fool you by saying this is a mature drama for mature people, it's trash. It's also not makjang, it's not a thriller, nor is it similar to some other titles MDL recommends below, it's no Misty.
