Que dorama incrível!!!
My school president é um bl fofo, leve, bonito e divertido. É tão descontraído que num piscar de olhos eu já estava no último ep.
A história é muito fofa e reconfortante, nada muito complexo, mas ainda sim muito linda. Ela mostra a adolescência de um jeito divertido, aborda as dificuldades e importância entre as amizades, os sentimentos durante um amor, o amor familiar e a luta pra seguir atrás dos seus sonhos, mas abordado de modo de um jovem vivenciando tudo. Mesmo sendo uma série mais leve, ainda sim abordou assuntos muito importantes e de um jeito ideal!

A atuação é excelente, todos os atores atuaram tão bem que eles conseguiram transmitir todo os sentimentos que seus personagens queriam transmitir.
O casal principal tem uma química impecável, só de ver eles dividindo um momento fofo juntos já deixava meu coração quentinho, são perfeitos um pro outro. Eles conseguiram demonstrar perfeitamente o amor que os personagens sentem e transmitir o quão linda e pura a relação deles é.

A trilha sonora é esplêndida! inigualável! eu amei todas as musicas de verdade, são tão lindas, me deixaram até emocionada(isso pq eu n me emociono fácil).
Na primeira cena que passou com eles cantando uma música mais sentimental eu já pensei "kkkk mds que brega" pra 20 segundos depois eu estar literalmente chorando, foi uma cena linda demais!! Em nenhum momento passou vergonha alheia.
Não posso deixar de mencionar o conceito da banda no bl que se encaixou perfeitamente e me deixou encantada por eles.

Resumindo, um dos melhores que eu já assisti, recomendo muito, vale a pena demais ter uma experiência tão boa que é assistir um bl tão lindo igual esse. Já entrou pros favoritos!!

An upbeat and bubbly BL series with amazing music!

My School President is a delightful and adorable BL series that embraces the classic enemies-to-lovers trope. It exudes cheerful humor, introduces lovable characters, and showcases remarkable chemistry between the leads.
With the show being one of the highest-rated on the site and receiving widespread praise, I had high expectations going into it. I eagerly anticipated witnessing the relationship between Tinn and Gun unfold alongside the intriguing plot.

In terms of the plot, it follows a familiar enemies-to-lovers template. The two initially start as rival contenders competing for the school presidency, but as their feelings for each other grow, they can no longer contain their emotions and must confront them. The show did an excellent job of portraying the evolving relationship between the two boys. There were moments where I couldn't help but giggle like a schoolgirl whenever they displayed affection towards each other. However, I must mention that there is a lack of physical intimacy, and we only get a kiss between them during the final moments of the show. Considering their young age, it's understandable that they may not be overly affectionate in a more intimate manner.

One aspect that slightly bothered me and led to a slight reduction in my rating was the abundance of dead space in certain scenes. I often found myself skipping through unnecessary scenes that didn't contribute much to the plot, making the series feel longer than it needed to be. I believe everything could have been accomplished in 10 episodes instead of 12.

One of the highlights of the show for me was the music and the accompanying music videos. I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic music selection. The various music performances throughout the series were incredibly catchy, and I found myself rewatching them multiple times. One of my favorite scenes was in episode 5 when Gun's mother starts singing to him, and each cast member has their own introspective moment, contemplating the next steps. It brought me great joy.

Overall, I adored the two main leads, Gemini and Fourth, and I appreciated the inclusion of the two additional BL couples in the show who also received screen time. It was a nice addition to the series. I would wholeheartedly recommend this upbeat and cheery BL series to anyone in search of a lighthearted watch.

Bagus banget sih ini, wajib nonton!

Menceritakan Gun seorang ketua ekskul band sekolah, ekskul ini akan segera di tutup karena konstribusi dan tujuan ekskul yang kurang kuat untuk sekolah. Ketika ekskulnya akan dibubarkan, ketua OSIS bernama Tin memberikan saran kepada kepala sekolah untuk menundanya dan mempertimbangkannya dengan matang, dengan memberikan waktu dan kesempatan bagi ekskul untuk memberikan sesuatu hal yang membanggakan untuk sekolah, akhirnya karena kejadian ini OSIS-pun ikut bertanggung jawab dan membuat Gun dan Tinn sering bersama dalam menghadapi beberapa permasalahan yang akan terjadi. Bagaimana kisahnya? apakah chemistry akan terbentuk? saksikan series-nya. Dari segi alur dan cerita, series ini punya bentuk cerita yang bagus, pengemasan scene yang apik dan dialog ringan yang mudah difahami serta menghibur. Dari segi karakter dan penokohan, menurutku series ini sangat memperkuat setiap tokohnya, series memberikan ruang pada setiap karakter yang ada untuk tampil dan ikut serta mempengaruhi cerita, walaupun dikemas dengan jumlah episode yang tidak banyak alias standard, namun series ini dapat menceritakan dan menjelaskan para tokoh baik untuk mainrole maupun support role dengan porsi yang pas. Dari segi warna, saya sangat menyukainya ; Series ini penuh warna baik itu untuk visual scene, maupun warna suara, setiap mood dan setiap scene dapat digambarkan dengan lagu-lagu mereka yang memang sangat related dengan keadaan ceritanya, lagunya sangat enak di dengar, dan bisa diterima oleh indra pendengaran kita dengan baik. Series ini punya life meaning yang bagus, dan sangat berkesan. Sangat rekomendasi!

ENEMY TO LOVER WITH COMEDIC TWIST

I love love love this series!!!! I mean not that much though cause I wish there were more kiss scenes cause they are TOO HOOKED WITH EACH OTHER!!!!! I was wondering who is GeminiFourth since they keep on popping on my fyp and now that I watch their series, I can confirm that they have an excellent chemistry. First episode and I AM IN LOVE!!!! The awkwardness is not in the room with us. Their chemistry is pure and innocent maybe because they are playing a high schoolers so their relationship is puppy-like, very goofy especially Fourth. OH MY GOD. I couldn't help but to think of Baekhyun whenever I watch how good Fourth portraying Gun. Gun is very playful and someone that is living carefree yet he becomes very serious when it comes to his band.

To be honest, I have no issue with this series. It reminds of first love in high school feels like, with their friends already knowing that they got together but giving space for them to confessed that they are dating. The feeling confession is not that direct and more like they are filtering their words to tease each other BUT i think that is damn adorable!! MAD IN LOVE with the pureness of their relationship. If I want to complain, just small issue where I think their kiss scene is very limited. That is all. LOL.

Other than that I think I like the series. LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE GEMINI X FOURTH <3

Como um dorama de música deveria ser

Sinceramente, eu gostei muito da trama central desse dorama, dos nossos principais Gun e Tinn e da saga da banda Chinzhilla. Ademais, o fato de não termos personagens tóxicos.

Desde o primeiro episódio até o último foi lindo testemunhar o amor do Tinn pelo Gun, e como essa sinceridade e entrega conquistou o último. Não foi nada forçado ou incoerente, foi o simples amor jovem crescendo a partir das ações.
Eles são muito Sodium Radium Potassium NARAK ♡

Um Plus ainda ao melhor personagem da série, o Tiwson, sério mesmo, o melhor amigo que alguém poderia ter. Ele sempre apoiou o Tinn em todas situações, dando conselhos coerentes e ajudando de verdade sempre que possível. Sofreu e ficou feliz com o amigo, estando sempre lá por ele. Basicamente ele representava a gente no drama.

Por último, e mais importante, a nossa banda. Quando se trata de uma série de música, gosto muito quando o foco é na >música< (e sim, em música boa), e foi isso que aconteceu, no final eu também me tornei fã do Chinzhilla, torcendo pelo sucesso deles, como bem deveria ser.

Devo pontuar coisas simples, como os momentos em que eles cantavam ao vivo mesmo, acapella ou só com o violão, foi lindo! Amei de verdade as músicas e suas apresentações, e repito para deixar bem frisado >o drama quer te passar que eles são bons e esforçados e é isso que você sente nas apresentações deles<

As músicas são boas e as apresentações também.  Sem nada artificial, autotunado ou com uso de música gravada em momentos que estão cantando ao vivo (só quem assiste bastante drama de música sabe...)

Gun, Por e Sound cantaram muito bem, e até o Tinn mostrou o que sabe, não tenho nada a reclamar quanto as músicas desse drama, só elogiar mesmo — e muito.

Por fim, quero destacar uma das minhas cenas favoritas, a que a mãe do Gun canta, com eles cantando depois, que cena linda, além deles cantaram muito bem, a cena conseguiu transmitir todas as emoções do momento, e vai continuar marcada na minha mente por um tempo.

MSP has instantly become my favourite BL ૮ ˶´ ᵕˋ ˶ა ♡

I have watched so many different types of BLs but this one really stood out to me… if you haven’t given it a try you have to! (o´▽`o)

Firstly, this show really reminded me of 2gether the series and Bad buddy. I’m not saying that the storyline or anything is similar, but it’s the feeling it gives you. For me, 2gether was my first series which brought me so much happiness and comfort, while Bad buddy was a series that helped me through some tough times. My school president is just so vibrant, fun and comforting, it feels like home. Every single one of the songs are so spectacular, the chemistry between each of the couples (especially tinngun ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡) are so strong and beautiful, and the actors played their roles so well. (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄)

I very casually decided to watch this show, but I had never expected it to leave such an impact on me. I cried not just at the sad moments, but at the happy ones too, because I was just so happy for the characters. (T⌓T) The actors did so well in portraying their characters that I could feel their emotions through the screen. When they were facing troubles, i wanted to root for them. When they were singing, it made me want to sing with them. This show brought me so much happiness and it definitely deserves the large amount of attention it is getting. ♡(ŐωŐ人)

To sum it up, this show is a must watch. Everything is beyond amazing and this show is like home to me, and everyone needs to see this masterpiece. ᕙ(‾̀◡‾́)ᕗ

Cute but extremely predictable

This is a plot that is all too familiar and predictable. Everything I expected to happen, happened. I would be lying if I said I didn't like it. Cute cast members and silly romance? Of course I'd enjoy it. But 12-episodes of this slow burn was a little exhausting to watch. They could've compacted this storyline into 8 episodes and still have time to spare. It was a little anti-climatic as well.

GunTinn were nice to watch. The supporting characters were honestly not that impressive. Did not care for the side couple. Tinn and Gun's mothers were great though.

Between the two main leads, Fourth is definitely the better actor. Gemini's acting still comes off a little unnatural at times. This was a very typical GMMTV production and is honestly just above average in terms of BLs. Don't really get the hype. FourthGemini's acting and chemistry in Moonlight Chicken, and even their storyline (Liming & Heart) in that show surpasses this by a mile.

Music was great too!

If you're a new BL fan, just into fluff BLs, or are simply running out of good quality BLs, I would definitely recommend this.

One of the most refreshing BL of all time

Honestly, I don’t know where to start , but if you have doubts about this BL please read this.

I’ve been watching BL since around mid 2020, and have seen all types of BLs from every region, and every troupe. It only took 4 episodes of My School President to completely over take my top 5.

It’s impossible not to fall in love with Gemini and fourth as they put on a hell of a show in their first lead acting roles. The two young actors manage to perfectly capture the essence of young love, school days, and friendship. You really are put into their world as all the characters feel so real and dynamic despite the fact that they don’t all necessarily have a lot of screen time, and this is what really sets apart MSP from the rest.

I usually am so uninterested in side characters/ couples because the writers never take enough time to really round them out and make them they’re own unique person, but MSP completely breaks this troupe and every character is lovable and fun. The show also breaks the horrid curse in every BL where the two main leads are always having misunderstandings which leads to frustrating plots and miss communication. Tinn and Gun always communicate and work out the kinks before they even turn into huge fights. Their relationship is extremely healthy and mature which is something BLs aren’t seen doing often as the directors always feel the need to add more drama.

Though the plot isn’t anything we haven’t seen, and is a pretty basic premise, god it works so well with the tone and genre of this show. A PERFECT rom com… seriously.

Also, every musical performance and song since episode 1 has been AMAZING!! All of the cast are amazing singers, and are actually very musically talented. (Also breaking the curse of horrifically cringey songs and guitar scenes in BLs.. you know the ones….)

I have sooooo much more I could say, but the show hasn’t even ended yet!! Who knows, maybe the end will change how I feel about this show, but for now: please watch this cute, squeal worthy, hilarious show that has brought so many BL fans together.

Not for me.

Like some people pointed out, this drama looks like it’s target audience are the much younger generation, not to say that no older person will watch it, but this is geared towards the younger demographics and if we were to take a surgery i am quite sure it will reveal that majority of the watchers are indeed of the younger demographic.
It wasn’t bad. It was fluffy but the plot was basically recycled every episode and I agree with someone’s comment it was so boring I had to hype myself and try to convince myself that this was good or going to get better. It just didn’t for me. Seeing how this has good reviews, I have concluded that it’s just not my cup of tea.
