a messy story
something doesn't sit right to me in this serie, and I'm unable to find it. yes i can find flaws like the acting of some actors (mostly in the last episode when June is running with her gun or when the uncle is shot) or the story that goes everywhere : the friendship of Sun and Kat in high-school, Mote and Doi creating an application to clear off their debts, Kat seducing Pat... and it creates a big mess but if you're really into it you can understand. also during a little time Doi disappears from the serie with no explanation ?? Some plot twists are way too predictable (like the uncle and aunt of Mote being the ones that hid the corpse). Also the scene where the dead body of Pat talking to Mote weirded me out.But overall the serie is funny. i don't think it was the point of it but the whole thing with tuk krub made me laugh and happy. it's a short serie and it's worth watching it if you're bored or feeling down.

Dramatic silliness
I've been wanting to watch this for months and finally got round to it. I also wanted to see Off in a drama as I've only seen him in The Jungle.It was odd, while at the same time not! I'm not sure there are many people who would be thrilled to help create a 'booking' system for sex workers. I understand that making enough money was the main objective.
What I liked: the main characters. I could believe that Kat (played by Jan) was looking for a way out of her life, but was loyal to her mum. I could believe that Mote (played by Off) was a chancer, who had strands of gold in his heart. I could believe that Sun (played by Mond) had childhood trauma which left him controlling, but needy. This is the second time I've seen Mond in the role of a baddie, but this time he was obsessive verging on psychopathic. Great acting.
What I didn't like: at times there was too much slapstick silliness.
It was enjoyable, but I don't usually watch a drama more than once and I definitely wouldn't watch this again.

MUST WATCH
Ho iniziato sta serie per noia ma seriamente parlando penso sia un must watch.Ho amato tutto sin dall’inizio, la storia è semplice ma allo stesso tempo intrigante e che ti lascia più volte senza fiato, soprattutto alla fine.
Ammetto che mi è interessata molto l’accoppiata Off e Louis, non li avevo mai visti recitare assieme e seriamente parlando spaccano.
Oltre al fatto che ho shippato sempre un botto Mote con Kat, vi giuro bellini amorini PUNTO
In generale Mote è un personaggio da me amato perché nonostante tutta la merda, è sempre stato sincero e ha sempre pensato a salvare soprattutto gli altri.
Invece, tipo Kat ha pure tentato più volte di scacciarsi dalla situa e alla fine si è ritrovata ad aiutarli perché era finita a dover ritornare al motel proprio in quella situazione, eppure alla fine fanno sembrare come se nulla fosse.
Doy è un altro amorino, la sua amicizia con Mote l’ho adorata e poi c’è Sun…
Mio dio le palle che mi ha fatto scendere Sun, di sé mi è dispiaciuto del suo passato e del fatto che amasse veramente tanto Kat ma allo stesso tempo quello che è diventato non copre e non si scusa con il suo passato. Se si hanno avute esperienze traumatiche non significa che tu devi reincarnare quel trauma, picchiando, facendo del male ed essendo così possessivo nei confronti di Kat, che poi sta porella l’ha sempre aiutato e quindi non vedevo perchè fare così nei suoi confronti. Penso che dati i traumi subiti, avrebbe soltanto dovuto pensare a diventare una buona persona per accettarsi che nessun’altro avrebbe sofferto in quella maniera con lui. Eppure ha fatto lo stronzo e c’è da dire che di red flag ne ho viste tante ma mai come lui, lui è proprio pazzo, non sta bene con la testa, dovrebbe stare in un ospedale psichiatrico in cura per pazzia e aggressività, oltre che per attacchi di rabbia.
Alla fine mi ha pure fatto piacere che in punto di morte si sia pentito e abbia chiesto scusa a Kat ma sinceramente non sono riuscita a provare molto perchè lui proprio non mi è piaciuto come persona. Che poi che casino alla fine, non capivo da che parte stesse e quando ho scoperto tutto il piano di Mote sono rimasta scioccata dall’intelligenza e geniosità vi prego.
Parlando poi degli zii di Mote, penso che loro siano stati fin troppo gentili in ogni senso, dopo la morte delle madre di Mote, non solo si sono presi cura di lui ma si sono pure sentiti in colpa di avergli dato una vita così, hanno coperto e accettato ogni cazzata fatta da Mote volendosi sempre prendere la colpa al posto suo, sono unici…
Infine devo dire che la fine mi ha rimasta un pò così, non mi aspettavo nulla in particolare ma neanche questo, è come se non avessero risolto nulla, certo il messaggio di tutta la serie l’ho recepito ma allo stesso tempo mi è sembrata una fine troppo calma e felice per essere ciò che succedeva dopo tutta quella cosa con almeno quattro corpi morti in quel motel.
Nonostante ciò mi è piaciuta veramente tanto, la consiglio, poi è anche breve quindi non ci vuole tanto per vederla.

The acting really caried this series. The story was meant to be intriguing
and while yes it touched on very important issues like: corruption, greed, abuse both physical and mental, mental health issues & prostitution, I mostly felt meh about it. I don't know what it was but for the most part I felt like the episodes dragged until there was an action part in the story. It was actually the cast that kept me engaged. Off Jumpol is one of my favorite Thai actors so of course I'll watch him in anything and while he was pretty awesome here, I'd have to give this to Mond. He stole the show with his incredible acting. He's definitely a rising star imo. It was a pleasure to watch Off and Mond working together again. I loved them on Not Me and felt like Mond and First were the actors that have had the best chemistry with OffGun as a group. Off and Mond proved that again in this series. Jan was incredible once again, she's rapidly climbing on my best actress list too.I think the series accomplished what it needed to do and set the tone up for the next two series in the Midnight Series. Will I watched it again? Unless I have to figure out a hidden connection to the other series, I'll probably not.
I give this a 7 because I liked how smart Mote was and the acting but the story was so-so. The OST was ok, mostly just loved the song they played at the end. If people want an action/thriller that's not that thought provoking this series could be it.
