would say i'm left speechless, but that would be a lie. this for sure has been one WTF moment after another. will start easy, didn't want or like Yuki being the first one to make a move. didn't like the dude from the start, but he has been genuine in his affection and relation with Ying Ze. even if a bit misguided he was trying to do good for the one he loved and it backfired, for reasons he couldn't comprehend - i.e Ying Ze's zero self-worth. so the one that Needed to step up and come hat in hand with a peace offering, let alone apologize was Ying Ze(!), Not Yuki. his saying sorry after the fact - when those old clothes weren't even the real reason for his going mental, is a bad omen for things to come. **********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************speaking of harbinger's, seeing Li Gong sitting across from Ze Shou's father at the start of the ep, was an indicator we will get the tedious self-sacrificing trope. where one half of the 'ship' gonna demolish the other, all cause they love them so much they gotta break them - literally. so they will move on to something better as they deserve - like talk b.s. makes little to no sense and yet writer's of these moronic drama's, can't help but reuse this idiotic cliche. ****************************************************** and if that wasn't enough, was feeling genuinely sorry for any unsuspecting female that would get Li Gong as her blind date, cause the dude gay and just cause he isn't with Ze Shou doesn't mean women will fill that void - this taking us back centuries and she would be nothing but a beard and i'm seeing red with this stupid plot - but then we get the owner of the bar who i guess also needs a beard(?) as i'm sure she's gay - but what do i know this has left logic at the door, so whatever...
How else to explain what must be the most inexplicable plot twist I've ever seen in a BL?
No lead in, no foreshadowing, no nothing except the primary MC suddenly blowing himself - and the entire series - up for what will probably turn out to be the lamest of reasons by Ep 12.
I started out liking this drama yes it was slow but i thought it was building up to something especially a happy ending i know there is at least 1 more ep but this just blew me away because i have no idea where this story is going or what its goal is i mean we wasted all these episodes waiting for them to get together and one ep later they are breaking up without so much as a hint that there was a problem to now be out of love and going on blind dates with women and not just any woman but the only lead female in the story as if to say oh we need for her to have herself a romance since all the men have love interests but hey lets just break up the main couple to achieve that goal. How do you go from secretly lovingly your best friend to finally confessing that love to almost having sex to being out and open to the public and workplace to support through a family death to breaking up without any warning and lets not forget what ever was said with the father in the opening moments that we have yet to know . Im moving on from this drama maybe one day i may come back for the ending but right now i dontvwant to wait another week for gloom and doom .
What a waste! Here was the perfectopportunity to really show how asame sex couple deals with challenges in the relationship and the best you can do is throw a woman in the mix. As if a woman will make the gay go away or miraculously confirm to the gay man that he really is gay afterall. What aninsult to the gay community. And arewomen so desperate they knowingly go after a gay man and one who theyknow has been in a sexual relationship with another man. This episode was an insult to women. Whoever wrote this should turn in his pen and paper. This shows a complete lack of understanding andcreativity.
