anyone wanting to watch this, doesn't need to watch the 1st season - just rewatched it (n then here at the start) got a recap of how the mains get together. considering how this plot has been set-up, think it would just depress u`(*>﹏<*)′ *******************mentioning the plot WHY in BL's, the Koreans LOVE to use this absurd plot-line, where one half just up's n leaves, like their other half, let alone their 'ship' means nothing, n then after a while comes back n the one left behind, doesn't ask question but is grateful to get the one that left back, so accepts him no questions asked ¯\(°_o)/¯ with open arms?!? (ノω<。)ノ*********************************************************************************************************************************************************also i don't get why the OG plot got rewrote, where "...After his career took a steady turn for the worse, Kang Seo Joon, was afraid he might never be happy again. But after a chance meeting brings the talented chef Han Ji Woo into his life..." Seo Joon career wasn't in trouble, that wasn't the reason he n Ji Woo's words collided. *****************************************************but i don't get WHY Ji Woo's walls r back up. let alone why he moved to the country-side to run an unprofitable restaurant where he's disagreeable to the community, but a single mother n her kid (just cause they share the same last name) huh?!? idk what the writers were thinking - why this 10 steps back after the progress made in the 1st season, but will have to wait n see where this is going
This is how life teaches us. Not at all times, you will experience happy endings. The reality depends on the ups and downs a person, or for example, in this episode, a couple carries. This is the part where the lead couple experiences heartbreak. You really need to watch the Season 1 of To My Star in order for you to fully understand and ask the question, "Why?" "What happened?" The Last season's ending was a happy ending one, "How come it ended up like this?" So you see? These are some of the questions you might be asking if you were able to watch this series from Season 1. You will be formulating a lot of scenarios in your mind just to answer those questions. These questions will be answered as we will continue to watch the other episodes. So you must be ready to take it and get ready with your tissues because you might end up crying just like me. This is due to the emotions the lead couple have portrayed even though it is still episode 1. 😭
I already like the concept of exploring relationship’s ups and downs and this first episode already got me hook, line & sinker. I had to watch it twice to actually fully grasp the situation. It started pretty hyperactive that if you haven’t seen season 1 you’ll definitely be lost in season 2 episode 1. This episode left me asking WHY?!?!? Why did you just leave like that and on his birthday. He must not love him enough. Let’s see how it turns out by watching future episodes
Lovely for a good cry :)Their separation is absolutely heartbreaking! Characterisation is extremely vivid and well-explained! Looking forward to the next few episodes
Couples dobreak up butit seems thatthis took Kang completely by surprise. So we start off with drama right from the start. Like that they kept thecore cast.
