I liked it more than some viewers, but...
Like many of you, I looked forward to OMSN because I enjoyed Ohm/Fluke in Until We Meet Again. While I'm not sorry to have watched this series, it was frustrating from time to time. Here are my pros and cons:PROS
FLUKE (& OHM). Despite a very weak script, Fluke still managed to prove that his acting is on a far superior level to most BL actors. It just is. As for Ohm, I was pleased to see a lot of growth in his range of acting, especially in the later episodes.
CINEMATOGRAPHY. There were a number of locations, both indoor and outdoor, which I found aesthetically pleasing.
PETERPAN. His role as Payoo was rather dull and static, but he sure is pretty to look at.
OLDER ACTORS. The actors in mature roles played their parts professionally.
CONS
STORY, STORY, STORY. Okay, I was willing to overlook that Sun relied solely on apples to combat his severe medical heart condition. (I just thought of him as a Christian Scientist who doesn't believe in taking medicine. And maybe the apples DID help.) And I accepted the really bad faking of playing musical instruments. I won't go into all the abysmal problems with the story itself, it would take far too long (and you can read all about them in the discussion boards). There were some interesting ideas but, far too often, they just got dropped. It was as if the scriptwriters began filming with only about 3 episodes finished, and then scrambled to write something as the series went along. Really bad.
LENGTH. It was six episodes too long. WHY?? (Until We Meet Again suffered from the same treatment, even though it was a much better series.) Unless each episode is riveting and significantly advances the plot (which was not the case here), it just pisses viewers off.
KIM'S UNDERWATER MEDITATION SESSIONS. His ability to hold his breath underwater put every synchronized swimmer in the world to shame. Don't try this at home, kids.
THE RAIN CHARACTER. I know I'm really in the minority, but I did not like Rain at all. I found his character boring, spineless, and totally lacking in charisma. He led Shun on to make Payoo jealous and then just dumped Shun with no real explanation. A big yawn from me. I would rather have seen Payoo end up with Shun. Rain can go become a Buddhist monk for the rest of his life.
This could have been really good. Unfortunately, the writers and directors dropped the ball.
It's a 5.0 from me.

nice to see
I just saw this series due to all the negative comments I saw but I found something different from what everyone says.It is a nice series to watch, beautiful scenery and the performances of the main couple more than splendid.
I understand that many do not like it since they are used to the typical script that in the second or third episode the main actors are having sex.
but for me it was the opposite, I loved that this occurred in the last episode where they expressed their love to the fullest and I wish that OHMFLUKE knew how to express it very well, that it could even be said that they are a couple in real life,In conclusion it was very nice to see. not disappointed, pleasantly surprised.

Too much soap opera vibe
As much as I love OhmFluke, this time they didn't get a good story (which is not their fault, but it makes the show less enjoyable than their other ones). The amnesia card is already something that can make me run out of this world, so the story already started with a disadvantage, and other than that it had so many unrealistic and soap opera like parts that I just couldn't take seriously, at many parts where the scene was supposed to be dramatic it became ridicuolous instead. Those characters who had a crush on someone who couldn't return their feelings behaved horribly (especially the guy who chased Kim, his personality was terrible), it was really irritating to watch and I didn't understand the drama there - Kids! People don't owe you their love just because you have a crush on them, they have the right to reject you! It's a bummer, but not the end of the world! C'mon!
Then comes the villain, who's evil, because... she wants the company, and that's it. We know how crazily evil she is because she looks really-really angry and grasps her bag tightly every now and then - she's also rather laughable than scary.
There were some heartwarming scenes though, and the music I really liked, but I'm glad this is not the first show I watched with the leading actors because if it were I might have not been that interested in their other works afterwards. They can do much better with a good script.

Boring
It was pretty fun at first but then its got SO boring real fast,Why tf did they have to drag on the story for 18 episodes????? 12 episodes wouldve been already more than enough
It was A PAIN to go through the last few episodes, literally nothing much happened there was no development in the storyline or the relationships between the characters
OhmFluke's chemistry wasnt strong but thats not new for me, the relationship between their characters was cute at first but then nothing, it was just awkward and giving nothing
Rain and Payoo had potential, but they ruined it by barely giving them any scenes, they couldve made the last few episodes even just a tisty bit enjoyable if we saw rain and payoo's interaction while rain was hiding in the whine place instead of doing this fake plot twist cause boy it was SO obvious that rain was hiding there and payoo knew it
I did kind of enjoyed Pie and petch's story
and if theres one thing that i also liked its gotta be how they managed shun's character, we got to see a litle bit of his struggles and desires, he wasnt just an annoying love rival, i didnt like how they just decided to pair him up with the other guy in the end, that was useless
about the acting t wasnt bad, but sometimes the writing was so cringe that it made the acting cringe too
anyways i would not recommend this

Rain will help to water this dry storyline, but too bad, it rarely falls.
To summarize my review of this title in one sentence, I use this famous line, "Ah, they could've done better." They have everything they need, such as good casts, good cameramen, lovely sets, catchy soundtracks and long slots (16 eps). It turns out all those resources don't match their passion. I feel like this series lacks of passion. The main lead, Khim, seems to be bored and angry all the time. So, it is hard for another main lead: Sun, to light the show alone. Khim and Sun interactions seem to be forced. After 14 eps, they still don't have a complete discussion where they can completely discuss one in-depth topic. Both Khim and Sun hardy have a finished sentence to say to each other. As a result, their chemistry fails to take off due to bad writing for their characters. While the main leads fail to nurture the show, Rain comes to the rescue as a supporting role. From the beginning, every time Rain falls, he solves the problem and issues of other characters in the story. His present offers a warm and calm atmosphere that engages audiences fully with him. However, the director takes him out entirely in Ep 13-14. Consequently, it brings the series down. The rating goes down, and critics go south.
As a fan, I won't give up on this series until the finale. But I do hope BL creators keep improving their work in the future. So no talent and resources are being wasted.

Must Watch & Fresh-air Series
I liked this series because in the midst of all the series I've seen especially from Thailand I find it a breath of fresh air something very similar to what you see in Korean series. It is unusual to find this kind of context. It goes hand in hand with the development of music. I understand that now classical music is very little valued but there are still people who love it and in this series it is possible to listen to it and enjoy the story. The story goes slowly and is very sweet. The confusion that Phayoo carries is very great as his father has raised him in a way that he himself is not comfortable with how he feels. Besides, the chemistry of the 2 main couples is great. RainPhayoo's is hot And KimSun's is extremely sweet. They look at each other in such a cute way that it takes your breath away. I can only say that they should give more promotion and more opportunities to those who like these series because a little sweetness always comes in handy in the midst of all that is currently on offer.

me encanto

Yes, the story rolled too much, and still, there was a lot to tellThere were more characters..
IF 3 couples were needed...
Kim and Sun // Rain and Payoo
Baibua and Chun.. comfort each other after losing Phayu and Rain.
Regarding the soundtrack, it's not that it's bad as far as taste, but there was no news, it was always the same.
The script holes and loose ends were left behind.
What I hated the most was leaving the Kim and Sun story aside.
They gave a good development to Rain and Payoo, so they ended up separated, but together... that's what it implies...( I didn't know that in Iguaçu you drove on the left side ? )
Even doing a great job, Ohm and Fluke, their characters were kind of lost in the middle of the story
From the beginning, it was known that Kim was going to lose his memory, but only in the last few episodes did that happen.
The mystery of Sun's illness and why he had to be away from his family.
Why did Kim become so cold?
Among other things.

I Think I Expected Way Too Much
I expected so much more from this show especially with having to pay to watch it.I feel this show could have been so much better had they cut the first 8 or so episode in half and spent more time on the storyline involving Suwan. This is when the show started to get interesting. In the end even with 18 episodes the ending felt rushed and anti-climatic. This show needed more focus instead of trying to do everything and then doing none of it well. There were probably only 2 episodes I really enjoyed and where I felt this show was actually going to go somewhere but it didnt last long.
I really wanted to enjoy this show but mostly it was just wishing for a more fleshed out story than all the teasing and going in circles.

(Not the BL of the century!)

BEAUTY:
Rain and Phayu, the second couple - without them, their acting, their likeability, their story, which was interrupted in the middle of the "plot", I probably wouldn't have given this project. Those two were the reason I became a prisoner of this series. A magical-looking Peterpan in his first major role, and Nod appealed to me far more than in Nitiman. Their scenes were also very well supported by the background music. The still beautiful Ohm (the character of Khim) and the likability of practically all the other swordsman and rugby characters (Chun, Pie, Phet and others). It was some scenes from the middle episodes that confirmed to me that the series will gradually develop into a superbomb. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.
ANIMAL:
The story was absolutely horrible, disjointed, torn, an absolute mess. I could list dozens of illogicalities, but I don't want to delay. "Something" always developed, only to be cut off, pushed back, or the story continued to act as if it hadn't happened. This literally drove many viewers to madness, and I watched as the rating on MDL gradually dropped, fell, gradually with the other episodes shown. From 8.3, the rating dropped to 6.8 today, so the viewers are angry. Such untapped potential. Several episodes dragged on like snot, tons of nothing, static after another, and I was just furiously rewinding faster to see if at least in half an hour Sun would fart and there would be some plot. In these moments, the music, otherwise beautiful, started to bother me for the first time. Because listening to heart-pounding music when "nothing" happens and the actor just turns his head from right to left (written figuratively) in two minutes, I didn't enjoy it.
ANIMAL OBSERVATIONS BELOW THE LINE:
- I'd like to see Fluke in a better role than just a confused and grimacing crybaby, shaped like a plucked mutt gnawing on a ton of red apples, Fluke didn't improve his acting reputation much with the character of Sun
- a nice "vest" in episodes 9 and 10 for the often unnecessarily confusing and indifferent character Khim, the costume designer got it right, the so-called "anti-bib" that exactly copied the holes in the entire story
- Khim runs up 25 floors as fast as Sun in the elevator, and it stops at each floor to see if the elevator car is going faster or slower than he is running up the stairs
- the orchestra: the young conductor waves in such a way that the play would have to break up immediately, Baibua couldn't see the violin even from a speed camera, poor Khim tried, but he couldn't save the cello playing with vibrato alone, everything could have been filmed, filmed differently
- Rain is in Brazil in front of the Iguazú waterfalls (I recognized it from the arrow to Itaipe), but even if he was on the Argentine side, in the whole of South America you drive on the right (except for two small, insignificant countries in the north), but Rain's car had steering wheel on the right
- stories of additional characters incomplete, while there were hours of wasted time
OVERALL: Phayu and Rain stole the show, they made one of the best BL couples I've ever seen (of course this is just my opinion), but they weren't allowed to do so physically as the storyline kept them apart for a long time. I'd like to see them in another project (possibly with all the likable swordsmen and Chun), but not led by the writer and director in one of these series. I've added a link to a short montage of Raina + Phayu footage in the comments, check it out.
Despite my very critical review, I RECOMMEND the series to all sensitive souls, I just wanted to express my disillusionment with how everything was wasted here. Respectful tribute to my colleague monvi for the precise translation, eighteen hour-long episodes are not just ...
