Absurd Plot, Great Acting

Completely bizarre premise, some good thoughts on human greed and war, outstanding acting of exaggerated comedy. The first half of Episode 9 was especially fantastic and hilarious. There were good laughs, completely absurd situations and characters, and the narration blended situational comedy, exaggeration, visual comedy, thriller, historical elements and mystery very deftly. There were some very funny pop-culture references as well. I did drop it in Episode 9 though because I had read ahead to the ending, which I wasn't keen to watch because it resolved nothing. Still not a bad mindless watch.

Boring, uneventful and incomplete

Ironic how such a short drama can be so uneventful yet draggy

I understand Korean webtoon have a style peculiar, but i enjoyed Pegasus market and the sound of your heart
This, the comedy wasn’t funny, only one or two things were, and I’d say the be melodramatic reference wasn’t in the OG🤣
anyway this fell on par with school nurse files and glitch, they feel incomplete, with a really basic and cheap world buildup and follow through 🥱
And it ended in a way I hate the most.. going back in time, not giving answers. Like yeah he could’ve stayed another day, and gone back in time and fixed it
Though yeah her dad passed away on his way, was his closure thinking she’s back, and it was motivation for yellow pants to go back.. but a repeating loop, that’s not a happy ending, or any ending, they’re not reliving the happy moments. They’ll relive the chase

And yeah people say you can interpret it as you like, maybe it gives time for the alien to spend “one” or more days, which is 50 and more years, and some can say he’ll remember and stop her from going in.. but I call that lazy writing, open endings are pointless because the writer didn’t want to think more about what to do, the choice and follow through is their responsibility

Esse foi um dos piores doramas que eu já assisti, se não foi o pior. Dropei e desdropei só pra poder falar mal com propriedade. O plot é sem pé e nem cabeça, então você ja espera que seja algo besta, mas a comédia é chata, forçada, as piadas sem graça, não gostei dos personagens. Passei a maior parte do drama com tédio, assistindo só pra terminar mesmo.

Acho que foi uma perda de tempo, mas agora posso falar mal com propriedade pelo menos. Não gastem tempo assistindo essa porcaria <3

Única coisa boa desse drama é a aparição da diva Queen Hoyeon Jung!!

Really enjoyed this one, but the ending was too confusing.

This drama was hilarious, in a weird way. I really enjoyed it. The acting was great, and the story was really quite good, except for the last episode.

I'll try to summarize the ending here, as I was looking for this in other reviews before watching, but couldn't find anything. Huge spoiler alert!

It's really confusing, but in the end, after waiting 50 years for the girl to turn back into a human, the main guy is met with a decision to either continue on living with her as a chicken nugget, or time travel back in time 50 years to before she turned into a chicken nugget, but lose all his memories from those 50 years.

This is the option he ends up choosing, and at the very end is the scene from just before the girl turned into a chicken nugget, as they had traveled back in time.

What concerns me though is... isn't the same exact thing going to happen again? The girl is just going to go back into the machine and turn back into a chicken nugget...

This ending just doesn't do it for me. I was not left satisfied after watching.

What I also noticed was other reviews mentioning that the girl's father died after waiting all that time. I watched the whole drama, every epsiode, and this didn't happen??? At the end, they showed him at 105 years old, still alive and well. Maybe I missed something. I'm not sure.

I know this is more of an ending summary than a review, but sometimes I like to know the ending before I watch a drama, so I hope this review is of use.

Highly recommend this drama, just keep your expectations low for the final epsiode!

I had no expectations for this!

So, in the beginning, when I heard of this drama, it sounded all pointless. K-dramas mostly don't have such sci-fic topics. Hence, I had little to no expectations for this. I decided to watch it for time pass. But, it actually exceeded my expectations! The story is pretty loyal to the web novel and gives a cartoonish vibe. The actors could not have been better! The acting is absolutely great. Somethings could have been explained a little better, for example the ending scene could have been extended to just before Min-ah enters the machine and then Mr.Ko could stop her there. Overall, it was a light and good watch. It has the perfect dry humour! Episodes are small but will keep you hooked for sure! It's great to see the change of genre once in a while in a K-drama. Also, this thing needs to be understood that Min-ah played by Kim Yoo Jung is not necessarily the main character just because it is played by a famous actress. The two MLs should definitely get more focus as they are the one's taking the drama. Many people would get into this because of Kim Yoo Jung (I did too) but then complain that she didn't get enough screentime. Do understand that her role was to be converted into a chicken nugget and so it's just appropriate that she doesn't have much screen time. The acting of the two MLs is worth the praise. It's a good watch for sure!!

A girl become a chicken nugget and aliens love bts and Big Bang

I have very mixed feelings with this show at times it’s be an okay show but then it became a whole mess throughout the show. I have never read the webtoon so I can’t really compare, but just from seeing this show I feel I wouldn’t want to read it at all. I guess the whole plot is based on Min Ah going to her dads workplace for lunch which is called more than machines then while her dad (Seon Man) leaves his coworker Baek Joong watches her and tells her about their new machine which is supposed to help you not feel sleepy so of course she went into the machine, but a chicken nugget rolled on the floor and her last word was chicken nugget which she then became. Her dad came out and started looking for her while his co worker is screaming at the chicken nugget because that’s what she is. Seon Man and Baek Joong go back in fourth about if she’s the nugget and then their other coworker came back from lunch and put her with all the nuggets so they can’t tell which is her. They go to the original store to ask for help, but Baek Joong sees his ex which is a food blogger and helps them find her because shes the only one that smells like mint chocolate. Then the machine gets stolen by a crazy dude who’s uncle made the machine and he wants to use it, the uncle comes back to life and is gonna try to make Min Ah back to a human so he takes her and Baek Joong and Seon Man try finding her and then get locked on a bed and a fight scene happens with the uncle and nephew, Baek Joong and Seon Man, and the owners of the chicken nugget place because now their aliens and the machine is what turned them into humans and can save Min Ah if they let them borrow it. I definitely feel the aliens won the battle because they were entertaining. The only problem was that 1 day on their planet is 50 years on earth so her dad and Baek Joong would be near death for being 105 and 78. Baek Joong becomes a music artist under the name yellow pants while waiting for Min Ah and on his last day of being a singer he suddenly spots Min Ah, but it wasn’t her it was a little girl with chicken nuggets so he shared them with her and Seon Min lives in the wild, but on the day of Min Ah’s return he passed while being transported is my guess. Then the alien that took Min Ah told Baek Joong that he has two choices it’s that he can continue this life or go back in time so Min Ah can live again, but their no way to save her since he doesn’t know about it, and of course he picks to redo it all over again so it’s now a constant loophole forever. I would recommend this drama if you want something different overall I wouldn’t really watch it again, but it had its pros and cons.
