This series isn't really believable. Nine is a 10 and Praew is a 3. Why would he date her in the first place much less if she is a serial cheater? She is pathetic and whinny and needy. Unless he fell for her in childhood during a brief awkward stage of low self esteem his liking her is impossible to believe. And no way would she get a main role in a series. Why is Nine so pathetic as to let his homely, whinny, cheater girlfriend move back in when he is so interested in someone else? Did he promise to take c are of her on someone's deathbed?Perhaps he really deserves her since he is also a cheaterpants. I feel bad for Daonuea. He has no clue.
Well..., episode two was slightly better than episode one but it is still dreadfully slow. Dialogues that do not serve a purpose are there just to fill time. Other parts of the story feel disjointed and messy. The last scene on the office desk looked like a men's underwear commercial. I cannot take this series seriously.
The story is definitely less boring than the first episode but my god is the music/soundtrack atrocious. the scene when they were doing it sounded like they were going to battle wtaf it made my cringe so bad, completely took me out of the story
Seems likethe old triangle storylinebut this onehas the mlwith a gf who is hotfor a manhe metpreviously.Cheating isok with him.The gf seems to be dumbas a rock and has lowself esteem. She seemsto take extrapleasure inparadingaround halfnaked.
The production is amazing and all but the music when they were doing IT was absurd. The way they started doing it made it hard to watch with THE AMAZING SOUNDTRACK THAT FOLLOWS. IK it was suposed to be tense or smth but bro just no. And the relationships here are weird. Like, Nine has a gf and he knows that he likes another person yet he still doesn't want to brek up with her. The pink haired girl "friend" as she calls herself. I kinda liked her but the advice she gave to Nine ughhhhhhhh gurll WTF. And Daonuea, he doesnt like Tee but he still gives time and false hopes for the poor guy. For the first time ever I now can say that I dislike both ml. I like Boat tho, he is my favorite and ig most of us can relate to this guy. (Sorry for my poor grammar:)
I often wonder how much is a badly written script, poor translation, or lost in translation. As someone who doen't speak or have connections to any Asian languages or cultures, I'm aware that poor dialogue and text translation, and missing cultural translation can ruin a prefectly good script, or render it badly for an international audience. Unfortunately, it still feels like this script was lacking and thus needed better editing. This episode shares a bit of Nine's backstory, however similar to Tee in episode one, Praew comes off as whiny, clingy and somewhat entitled considering we understand there were relationship problems serious enough to end call it quits. That said it appears neither Daoneua nor Nine are being clear about their feelings or expectations to either of these partners or potential partners. Maybe that's a deliberate story choice, but it could easily have been set up with some short conversations and a lot less irritating bloat.I guess part of the difficulty here is that filler in an office drama is not very interesting or pretty to look at, and sometimes what seems like humour doesn't come across successfully. Most of Boat's parts still work fairly well in episode two, and I enjoyed the majority of the main leads interactions, as you can see there are some tussling emotions and uncertainty that they are both dealing with. The last few minutes could have done with less cutaways (or whatever is the appropriate term), but I assumed it was to show connection and care, rather than simple lust. I didn't even note the change in music that many found problematic. The biggest difficulty is stil how well written and filmed episode 0 was. While the NC scenes were good, it wasn't even about that but about how it came together as a whole. I will stick this out to the end, but am continuing to hope that it will move towards the quality of script, editing and acting that so many of us enjoyed - and is the reason we all waited expectantly for this series. It guts me that I'm not getting the opportunity to sing the praises of this series, but I'll stay hopeful until the end.
