minha terapia. <3
One of the best k-dramas of 2022
This drama is the perfect representation that a drama doesn't need so many extravagant elements to be an amazing and memorable drama. Summer strike is that drama that leaves messages of self-discovery, what life means and what happiness is, so watching this drama is a journey with the main character in search of those answers but it's also a drama with characters so real and human that it's easy to identify with any of them. This is a drama for any type of person because it not only fulfills its goal of entertaining you but it also ends with a sense of happiness, comfort and leaves you wanting to begin your journey in search of your own answers.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

ugh this was such a comfort drama. i loved the introvert love. bom and yeorems friendship.. omfg. and bom and her bf so cute. end was too angsty for me cuz like cute summer trip to murder case? too much… but other than that it was cute and i love the characters sm. cried a lot too. taught me a lot and motivated me. like yeorem finding her own life and just living life in the moment :))) so much about relationship dynamics and just so so sweet. minus the ew murder plot- 7.5 stars bc of that. i probs wouldn’t rewatch tho. not good enough too tbh Esta resenha foi útil para você?
L'histoire peine a décoller.

Got comforted by this drama at times when I least expected it
Guys, at first I hadn't liked the drama much on its first two episodes. So I had even dropped it but then again later on I carried on and tried to watch it. Guess what I loved it so much more than before. It brought me sincere happiness to my heart even if it's just for a while. Thanks to this drama "Summer strike", I felt at ease. I tend to enjoy any movies and dramas based on my current interest, mood and my current life circumstances. It was raining today and I kinda felt myself being stuck in my life and I had nothing to do. But I started giggling like a child and there was a sincere smile on my face while watching. The camera quality was somehow darker and unusual than any other dramas like Hometown Cha cha, Welcome to Samdalri, but it was comforting to me despite of not having a brighter screen, I guess that's the speciality of this drama. To comfort us at times when we least expect it to.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Give it a Chance:
This drama was like therapy for me. I can’t really explain it. It truly touched my heart and made me feel endless emotions. I went into it thinking it’d be lighthearted and similar to hometown cha cha cha. To my surprise the storyline is way deeper and in a lot of aspects darker. Each character is deeply complex. Usually kdramas have a habit of straying away from really dark topics and tend to be unrealistic. When watching you may think why is it so tragic ? But in reality it isn’t. What happens to every character is apart of the human experience and many issues they face are similar to the circumstances person face in their everyday life. This drama shows you the beauty of life, the ups and downs and all the moments in between. It teaches you that you’re going to have really dark moments that may seem to hard to overcome. But after every storm the sky clears and things become brighter once again. Life is a cycle that’s made up of all happy, sad, and scary moments. All of which is a part of the human experience. This drama certainly took on me an emotional rollercoaster and I’m so glad that I clicked on it on a random Saturday night.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Cercavo qualcos'altro..
A breath of fresh air
When I first read the Korean title I was like, "what in the Bruno Mars?? " and was curious what the story had to offer. I didn't expect the mystery in this at all, since it had more of a melodrama vibe (from the poster). A corporate worker decides to take a break but ends up quitting her job and moves out with no solid plan on what to do next, somehow ending up in a town and renting a place for cheap. Tbh, I was a bit jealous of her for her bold decision, but also saw her as very naive.Overall, I loved it; library, introverts trying to figure out how to date, countryside, sense of community- the screenwriter made all these work together. If you love these, this will be a great and refreshing show to watch.

MY HEART IS FULL
This drama truly warmed my heart. I loved the sense of community among the villagers—it felt like one big family. I especially appreciated how they gradually accepted Yeoreum, the newcomer, into their lives. The character development throughout the drama was well done, making the relationships feel authentic and meaningful.I really enjoyed the story. It tackled everyday life problems and family drama, yet it never became boring. The acting was also natural.
One detail I particularly liked was how Yeoreum repeated outfits a few times. It was a small touch, but it made her feel more realistic and relatable as a character.
❎What I disliked:
Bom’s father was an alcoholic, selfish, and abusive, yet the people around him seemed so quick to forgive, especially after what he did to Bom. The grandmother, while generally kind, was selfish in this situation. She was only thinking about herself, completely ignoring the fact that her grandchildren were suffering because of their father. His existence was more of a burden, and it was heartbreaking to see how it affected Bom and her sibling.

comfort drama with lil bit mystery background
Buat kamu yang suka drama kaia Liberation Notes, My Mister duh cocok banget buat nonton ini! Ini drama ga begitu kedengeran or hype pas dulu memang, aku iseng iseng coba 1 episode lalu 2 lalu 3 dan nyantol. Karakternya punya problem masing masing tapi supporting characternya sendiri juga punya masalah masing masing, ga cuman nempel aja. Walau misterinya agak "heh gitu?" tapi aku tetep suka sama ceritanya. Gak bosenin, bikin hati adem (walau beberapa episode bikin geram dan trigger) tapi pas ending, duh berasa ikutan senang dan terharu. Rekomen!Esta resenha foi útil para você?

short, realistic, cozy
cozy small town vibes with all the elements of life and characters that you would expect from such a place. depressing at times, hopeful at others. peace and messages of being content in life, however it is, at times, stories of human anguish and tragedy at others.watched only for shin eun soo - great job and very multidimensional character for her. really loved FL's acting and character too. she fits perfectly with the realistic plain vibe of everyday life the drama wanted to portray.
although i wish they focused more on her mental health and personal healing too (more than just her helping others through theirs) because the girl did go through some trauma. from work pressure to breakip to losing her mom and then moving to a small town where she was unwelcome at first, seeing death and losing people again. taking care of bom and her bro. all this plot though understandable wasn't very concise or clear. what happened to bom's father in the end i wonder. an alcoholic would always be one was that the message, or should it have been a stress point against drinking work culture and peer pressure to do so in thr country.
good and content ending ig. wish we could have seen more of the ml and the lead couple together. by the end i felt like i haven't really seen him all that much?
their relationship - the initial awkwardness, interactions, mannerisms, shy smiles - all veryy wholesome and realistic.
ofcourse there is a murder solving our lead sherlock couples undertake haha along with some high speed running and chasing 😂

watched weekly as it came out
lee yeo reum my fav summer girl <3 i wanted to watch even before it came out because it seemed like the typical slice of life type of show that i love and i did! the slowburn was SLOW and i do feel like we should have gotten at least a kiss 3 the buildup of yeo reum and dae bum's relationship was really good to see. the dynamics/relationships and growth development of the characters was def the best part of the drama and i really want to see more dramas around rural nature, ect. the thriller (?) part wasn't as interesting in my opinion and i think only a few dramas can pull of the double genre of relaxing and thriller/ suspense, but this drama did not such a bad job at delivering that. yeo reums message at the end was so special to me and i loved watching the scenery around angok during the summer as it is also my favorite season heheEsta resenha foi útil para você?
