Great Show
This show was literally SOOO good! if you enjoy shows with fighting this is it!! I really enjoyed this show, it even made me shed a few tears! i highly recommend this as a starter show, it really gets you hooked in throughout the first episode! Honestly I knew I was going to like it because of Park Jihoon, I told myself that I have to like it anyways because I love his music, but after watching the first episode I can say for sure that this show is a show that you love or hate, no in between! this shows Jihoons side of acting and this show showed me how good Jihoon can act! Like I said i really do recommend this show to anoyone whos just getting into korean dramas!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
An unpredictable movie... on a predictable subject
This is a very predictable subject I've noticed with Korean dramas around bullying. But I love how it was done in an unpredictable way. I have to admit this probably wouldn't have gotten great reviews if it wasn't for the amazing acting by all the leads. The male lead was phenomenal one of the best performances I've seen in all of year long. I love how I wasn't sure what was going to happen next.I was fine with it but I was amazed by the graphic nature of the series. The action scenes were done very well.
The grittiness of this drama remind me a lot of another drama called Extracurricular. I appreciate that it was a nice tight eight episodes so it did not contain a lot of filler episodes and one too many origin stories.

a weak hero doesn't mean he can't fight, but he knows how to handle vengeance and self-bravery
NEED A SEASON 2 BUT THE CONTINUATION IS ON WEBTOON!! huhuhu it was very entertaining and the fact that it breaks my heart because many things were getting involved by their friendship because of betrayal. but this drama was interesting from the beginning till the ending was a cliffhang a bit. Adding it to my favorites, but I need to explain a bit but not that long since the story seems confusing but i'll try to give a summary to it.But, i'll share a bit since I saw a comment from the website I've been watching kdramas and it was actually a prequel. Gotta find it on webtoon to read the story where it begins to be very exciting tbh. but they said its different but i'll try I guess.
The story talks about how a student handles bullies in school, much more of giving revenge and for the sake of giving them what they deserve to be treated. to fighting scenes to friendship scenes. injustices from the weak hero turns to be so powerful, involving his life to be in despair and how his education and all destroyed because of blaming the people who gave too much attention to him to be mad to give punishment. From the plot itself, it seems interesting but when I get to watch the drama, now I realized that I got very entertained because of the action and fighting scenes that makes it look even attractive. I never had been obsessed about this drama because it is one of the best action high school series I've watched. I think the story, to be specific, is how oneself struggles to find a way to give revenge and seek for what's right by using violence since most of the time, high school violence (in most cases in some kdrama series) are not given attention to be solved. That blames the society and the high positioned leaders as well. getting involved and justice not been served.
The ost in short fits the atmosphere of the drama in every episodes. It seems to give so much intense from every fighting scenes and the bonding moments with their brotherly-friendship. Giving most of the scenes such feels as well. I would also note the cinematography of this drama, because it could also blend with the scenes most especially the fighting scenes.
The characters, with the cast was WOOOOOH, they were entertaining from their scenes on screen, their emotions gave out and their actions scenes was on point! I also fell their friendship as well from where they were until the end was kind of sentimental. But not to spoil so much, the cast was very promising as well ever since the 2 male leads, I saw them from their previews kdrama roles as well.
- Park Ji-hoon, as the yeon shi-eun he got this role very lucky. many of the viewers appreciates his acting skills even myself could appreciate him much, he even improved a lot from his role from the previews drama i've watched, at a distance spring is green. A promising actor as well!!
- one of my favorite actors as well, Choi Hyun-wook as ahn soo ho. I got so attracted by his role from this drama. The acting skills was very entertaining and how skilled he was. Most of his roles especially some drama series he was casted, this was the first kdrama I've seen his fighting skills too! I fell in love from the first web drama I watched seeing him, Real:Time:Love. A promising rookie actor as well!
- Hong kyung as Oh Beom Seok, hmmm this is the first drama I saw his role and very well done! I guess he was also promising actor and while watching his scenes, seems very real as well. Even if I hated his role from this drama, he deserve attention to the viewers and might as well have the main role from future drama projects as well.
Overall, I hope it has a season 2 since the ending was seems a cliffhang after all. But I would look forward to the webtoon version since this was (again) a prequel.
Good for binge-watch and a time killer as well. I think in most cases, I would probably no recommend to beginners unless if they are interested to action series. A must watch to kdrama fans as well!
Looking forward to the main casts roles soon!!!

people can go anytime in your life but u still have to keep going
these series needs to be watched carefully, u can't watch it like white noise or some random thing playing. u gotta set and watch this in peace.thought don't watch it if your in a sad mood coz u don't know what to expect. best to watch if u have all the time in the world just to spend watching and definitely have to eat ramen or some Japanese food. I think it's better to watch alone then with friends, coz if it's a group of friends it would be distractingdistracting. I definitely would watch this again

e agr eu viciei no doramakkk

A concussive flurry that leaves you in anticipation of what's next
--Summary--A provocative, in-your-face kidnapping into the disturbing world of Korean school violence. High quality production with excellent action scenes, visuals, and sound. Gripping and fast-paced story with convincing setup. Reasonable plot progression without major holes, but also some plot convenience and noble idiocy that I was able to overlook. Captivating acting from the impressive young leads and veteran supporting actors added to the realism. Though more a prequel than complete narrative, it's a thrilling prelude hopefully to a well-fleshed out story.
I give it 8 (+0.5), which is very good score reserved for one of the best shows of the year. But it's difficult to rate higher because we've only been given a partial story and the compact S1 doesn't leave room for greater thematic depth or connection to characters. I may bump the rating if future seasons are able to develop this into a high quality, fleshed out story.
--Detailed Rating--
✅ Plot (8.5) - The core of the plot is logical and moves the story along at the brisk pace. In the second half of the show, previously calculated and pragmatic characters like Ahn Soo and Yeon Shi both indulge in some noble idiocy and create a bigger mess for the very people they were trying to protect. In addition, Oh Beom Seok's descent into malevolence appeared too abrupt and unfounded as he betrayed Ahn Soo over minor slights while allying himself with bullies that have tormented him far more brutally. While these plot issues are not dealbreakers, they do stretch the plausibility and detract from the story.
✅ Theme / Message (7.5) -

A gut-wrenching youth drama! The "Weak Hero" trope done right!
An excellent drama carried by brilliant actors with such a good and realistic acting. The story is portraying the strong friendship between young people confronted with the violence of the world around them...whether at school or in their entourage. The episodes are short (about 40 minutes) and fast-paced; and yet at the heart of the action are more contemplative moments, full of sincerity with a sensitive OST giving an almost "old-school" feel. The brutal scenes are filmed skilfully and seamlessly, the strong images leave an impression of discomfort, the story is simply gut-wrenching: be prepared for a turmoil of emotions!
The trope of the hero who gets his ass kicked, the narrative of the weak who confronts the bullies, and who gets up to face adversity are here highlighted in a masterful and credible way. The spectator can only tense up in the face of certain situations and fears (often rightly) for the safety of the protagonists. The uncertainty regarding the survival of these characters to whom the viewer has become attached is one of the greatest strength of this show.
I would recommend this to people who like to read GTO or The breaker, love well-built youth drama and that are not triggered by topics such as bullying, domestic abuse and scenes of exacerbated violence.

Soprattutto nell'azzeccare i sentimenti. VERAMENTE COMPLIMENTI, STUPENDI.

INTENSE AND DAMN GOOD
I generally watch k-dramas because they have a way of easing the viewer into topics, even though the topics dealt with in the shows might be intense and serious. This one does nothing of that sort, and it just continues to hit you in the face (in a very good way). And it's kudos to the actors, the director, and the writer for that. This has been an intense watch right from episode 1. The topics dealt with in this series are intense (bullying, drug abuse, parental abuse etc), but that does not mean that the show gets boring. It is the writer's credit for keeping the audience glued to the story despite having a pretty dark and gloomy setup, right from the get go. We have the protagonist, Yeom Si-eun, who is the topper of his class, but a loner; there's Ahn Soo-ho, who's always asleep in class, but the chirpiest (of the 3); and there's the newcomer Oh In-beom, who changed schools because he was bullied in his old school. The three become fast friends, and the rest of the drama is the story of their friendship. The first few episodes kinda ease you into watching the drama for the characters. The acting of all the characters are just top notch, each one packs a punch in their own ways. Anything more might appear as a spoiler, so this is all there is to it.All that I can say about this drama is, the drama blurb is quite misleading. The story takes its own turns and gut punches you in its own ways. Was it a satisfying watch? Nope. Was it a quality watch? Fuck yes, absolutely. I am extremely glad that the director did not succumb to the demands of the formulaic high school drama, and stayed true to the characters till the very end. Kudos for having the courage to do that.
Overall, a 10/10.
