Sweet Japanese adaptation
This was a cute adaptation of She Was Pretty. There were a few minuses for me, but overall, I enjoyed it.Male lead wasn't nearly as awful in this version. The first few episodes, yes, but then even when he was being a little mean to her, it was because of her work, plus I think he was trying to come to terms with his feelings for her. I really liked that he liked her before her transformation.
In every version of this show, I've had a problem with the friend and what she did. I mean, true friends don't do that. In this version, it bothered me even more, because she just let it get out of hand. And then when she was running away to avoid talking to her friend, that was just too childish.
I didn't have SLS in this version at all, he was just too immature.
One thing about Japanese shows, they spend a LOT of time apologizing to each other. It seemed especially prevalent in this show.
As with most other Asian dramas, there was the obligatory time jump, which I hate. It's always, "I love you and can't live without you, but I'm leaving for a couple of years. See ya!" It was a cute ending, but very rushed.

I drop dramas at ep 2, yet not this one! It is impossible!
I am very hard to please when it comes to my screen time. This story was good, I was genuely interested in the matters of the two. I got frustrated at 2bfs' choices, I felt the weight of not being able to tell the secret at each attempt. She is great, the actor as well as the character. The story, her purpose, the way the drama encourages people to "live." I can relate to her words people feel beautiful once they start to follow their dream. During high school, people didn't call me ugly but I wasn't even looking at my face in the mirror because I wasn't taking any steps to improve myself in subhects and hobbies I desired. I was disgusted of my face and it felt stupid. I wasn't overly shy. As I was hearing her say that, I was thinking that I was able to find an answer after longing for an answer for years. I am taking steps towards my goal but I was in need of an answer to describe my past self. I love this drama and I can relate to it. Thanks you all the crew.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Straightforward Romance Drama
I have to admit that I did not watch the original Korean drama, so I am reviewing this work independently. I think its an enjoyable romantic drama with a straightforward plot where the FL who lacks confidence works her way up and finding a goal to what she wants to do. Nothing special.I think the problem I have with the plot is when the 2FL got into a love triangle with the main leads and there was one whole episode where the FL just kinda not talk to the ML because she felt bad for the 2FL who is her best friend. The lack of anger was quite weird to me as the 2FL was seeing the ML being her back. I would feel kinda piss tbh if that happens to me as I would have expect the best friend to be truthful to me at least. The ML not finding out the 2FL real identity after so many hints also doesn't make sense too. But I do like the 2ML a lot and felt bad for him when FL didn't have feelings for him. But the chemistry between FL and ML is still good and thank goodness he was only mean to her for like the first few episodes. I don't think I will rate so highly if I seen more episodes of ML verbally abusing the FL... And I was also kinda skeptical of the ending for 2ML, I don't think he really needs to quit the company because he reviewed that he is a famous ghostwriter.
Beyond these plotholes, I think he was a nice watch. But some of the acting was a miss to me especially the FL and 2FL. I can't relate emotionally in their crying scenes which I normally can since I cry very easily. The music was also quite forgettable and a wasted opportunity to have a good and touching OST song. I would rewatch this though as it's a feel good show overall.

I have to say that I liked all 4 main leads, and that rarely happens for me. There's always that second lead that is annoying/unlikable, but in this case I enjoyed watching all of them. They were so adorable!
Also, I liked the acting quite a lot. It didn't feel cringy or weird at all, and in dramas I often feel that way. It felt quite natural, tbh.
Can we talk about how beautiful the intro and outro songs are? Completely my vibes lol
9/10! Would recommend to anyone who is not big on J-dramas.

Good Enough
Japanese Drama "Konojo wa Kirei datta" is a fun short drama with a cute romance. And sure the love triangle didn't pay off (especially compared to the original Korean Drama), but the main love story was sweet and wasn't overburdened with unnecessary drama. Rather, it was kept clean and enjoyable. The misunderstandings were fun to watch and the office drama was a nice touch, without overshadowing the main story. However, the most interesting part was the friendship between the girls that was sweet and had its ups and downs, but felt more realistic because of them. It also helped with the character development as well. Unfortunately, there were some parts that were rushed and didn't feel as smoothly developed as others.
As for the performances, they were all great.
So, overall, 6 out of 10. It's a fun, entertaining, light drama.

Choose Lover or Friend?
Wow, the music is cool! Cheerful spirit. As if made specifically, making the drama "She was Pretty" as a whole was sweet.Indeed, it can't compete with the original version which makes it exciting.. Kim Hye-Jin and Min Ha Ri's friendship is awesome because they love each other so much that they call each other "my husband-my wife".
Hwang Jung Eum's expressive acting in the original is also hard to match. As an analogy, the original version of “She was Pretty” is like a fruit cake full of flavor, which is made from various fruits, honey and nuts.
While the Japanese version of the drama "She was Pretty" only tastes sweet. Even though it's still far superior to the Chinese version, the drama "Pretty Li Hui Zhen" is fiddly and poorly cast.
Fuka Koshiba as Ai Sato (of course according to the scenario) is not as expressive as Hwang Jung Eum as Kim Hye Jin. But the chemistry with Kento Nakajima as Sosuke Hasebe, is no less slick.
Drama remake auto compared to the original version. Must be better or different. Well, the difference between the Japanese version of the drama "She was Pretty" is in its cinematography. Nice!
Cameramen play with angles, lighting, and other techniques. So that the audience is spoiled with beautiful visualizations.
Want to watch the drama She was Pretty? The original version/Korean drama can be seen on the RCTI+ app, the Chinese version of “Pretty Li Hui Zhen” is on Viu.com, while the Japanese version of “She was Pretty” recently ended on the WeTV app.
