O Namorado da Irmã Mais Velha (2020)

Highly Recommended

I started watching "Neechan no Koibito" because of Hayashi Kento who did an amazing job but I started to love every single character.

The drama is beautiful, sweet and very mature. Every Chakater is believable and lovable. It's written intelligently and maturely, but also has a humorous side to it. All of the actors were outstanding.

I will definitely watch this drama again. I highly recommend this drama.

My first jdrama

this is the first time i finish a japanese drama because usually i never finish it when i watch japanese drama because it can be said it is not what i expected, but this drama is the first time i feel like watching it till the end and i am very happy with the ending i think i am very happy , the problems in this drama can also look realistic, that's all I can say. The meaning of all the words above is that this drama is worth watching, I highly recommend it, I hope you guys also try to watch it.

Contrary to its looks, the drama treats it's female characters as plot points

There's literally no trigger or age warning when an episode literally flashes into a traumatic and explicit scene and snaps out of it as if nothing happened, the female character in the said scene is literally treated like a plot point that's supposed to be the cause of the male character's mediocre trauma and female trauma is conveniently erased to drive a hollow narrative to give the male lead 'depth'.

Dropping this drama after 4 episodes and I wish I hadn't begun it in the first place because now I'm traumatized too.
Jeez.

Awful

I'm sorry, I just can't take a drama where everybody is smiling or laughing all the time, and the jokes aren't even funny. Who was this drama made for? People suffering from the same problem as the male lead'? Maybe it's eventually explained, but I shall not sit around waiting. Life is just too short.

Recognizing Emi Wakui in the cast was a shock. She was big in the 1990's. I have watched both "imoto yo" (1994) and "Virgin Road" (1997) – from beginning to end. (No, I don't want to brag, but I had to get to the 500-character limit somehow.)
