Crush (2021)

Refreshing!!

I started watching this because i couldn't find anything but once i started i didn't wanna stop. It is a good drama. Evan lin is a surprise for sure. He's got some acting chops and Wang Peng is good. Acting was not forced. Plot is kind of new as ML is shown as blind guy. I liked conversation between them. ML does not take any offense when female lead states obvious from time to time about his blindness, their relationship was open in sense FL didn't walk on eggshells regarding his condition. Sometimes she left things messy which harms the ML but he takes it into the stride. Of course the story is not very relatable but it is a very good watch.

Wan Peng's very cute

After years of watching dramas I decided to make an acct here to track my favorites.

First of all the actors/actresses are really good. Yk the cringeyness when you watch someone act blind but obviously not, kudos to Evan tho, I think he did fine in that department. As usual Wan Peng's acting is on point.

Second, I think the story plot is very common and you can easily predict the outcome. But I thank the script writer that they did not make it draggy. Not all dramas need to be long just to be good. Like when he did the surgery usually they make more eps where the ml does not recognize the fl or someone will pretend to be the fl. But Evan straight up "i recognize u". Saw this on yt shorts that's why I watch it🥳

Third, the kisses😅. I really want the whole c/kdrama scene to step up with the kissing scenes haha. I like the sofa kiss here especially when he said "I'll not miss out on the chance two times a row". So cute 🥰

Love, Warm, and Sweet

This is one of sweetest drama in the world ! and I became fan of Lin Yan Jun. I know this drama is the first for him as he just debut as actor. Wan Peng is so beautiful with natural touch. Their chemistry feels so warm and sweet. I really love CRUSH drama.

Since you like movies so much..
do you know the basic fundamental of the movies rely on is persistence of visions?
Lights that reach the eyes will remain in the retina for some time before disappearing, the duration is very shorts it's ephemeral.
But, I probably have an innate ability to prolong it. In these three years it feels like i didn't see anything except everything about you. They still appear before my eyes..

this is one of my favorite drama this 2021.
if you watch this without skipping you can never say that this is drag.. i read the novel and i think the only thing they change is that SNQ can see but hey the novel is written years ago the writer probably think that anything is possible in medicine these days.. but i really enjoy the story the dialogue and cinematography very soothing.. i came here for WAN PENG but EVAN LIN caught me.. 😁

New fan of Evan Lin here!

I wanted to give it a perfect ten, but I am not happy with how the story went with Wu Yan's bestfriend, and how it left me feeling "meh". As well as how they've dealt with Wu Yan's mental health situation. It was left hanging, and will make you think, what will happen next. But upon searching, that's how it is as well in the novel, so they just follow through the original story.

I just find Wu Yan's character frustrating at times, how she quickly gets upset and ran away from the problems, maybe she's still young and at times fickle minded, but still, I just wanted to shake her to wake her up.

Sorry, but I just can't take the presence of the 2nd couple! Too frustrating to watch for me. Their acting is too bland! So I had no choice but to skip them. I feel like, instead of giving them screen time, they should've focus more on other main issues on this drama.

Anyway, I love how their chemistry reflected on screen, it's flying with high colors! I enjoyed and love Nian Qin's tantrums and young master's attitude. Also, he is bordering on being obsessive and a stalker. I know it's wrong; it was so adorable, maybe some will find it offensive, but I just love Nian Qin here.

Also, kudos to Evan Lin's portrayal of being a blind man, it was convincing! I also enjoyed and loved listening to the OST of the series. It helps sets the mood as well as convinced me that Yi Jin is indeed a gifted song writer.

Una meravigliosa e tenera storia d'amore.

Questo c-drama è stato una bellissima scoperta.L'attrice protagonista l'avevo già amata in altri drama lui invece primo drama suo ed è stato bravissimo.
Una storia al quanto semplice dove un ragazzo giovane bello e un bravo musicista purtroppo è non vedente ma questo non li ha impedito di avere una vita normale anche se freddo e chiuso.Lei invece studentessa sogna di diventare una conduttrice radiofonica.Lei si innamora a prima vista anche se non sa che è ipovedente. Avranno occasione di conoscersi e innamorarsi abbastanza velocemente ma per svariati motivi si allontaneranno nonostante il loro grande amore.
Si rincontrano dopo tre anni lui è molto cambiato ma alla fine ha fatto tutto per lei,non ha mai smesso di amarla e anche se lei lo nega lo ama ancora.Si riavvicinano e vivranno felici e contenti.
Drama abbastanza classico romantico e con molti chiche ma comunque veramente bello, mi è piaciuto tantissimo.

Definitely a drama to watch when you're in need of comfort, I really appreciate the story's well-crafted plot (you felt like you were watching a real couple) and the actors' chemistry overall is quite cute. In general, it's a typical C-drama.
If you need a pick me up, I recommend you power through the first episodes since they are a bit slow

Some characters will annoy you but I think that’s part of the fun of the drama * cough cough* the mother .. in my opinion

Overall a cute touching story with a sort of melancholy touch just a touch worth the watch!!

Wow, just wow

Well, this drama was an experience. I was a little unsure of it at first as it seemed very melodramatic and I wasn't sure if melodrama was what I wanted to watch. Regardless, I decided to give this drama a fair shake and watch some and to my surprise, fell in love with it!

The storyline was interesting, with the Male lead being visually impaired as well as very damaged. There were specks of the heart of gold buried under the dust of hardship, and I fell in love with ML very quickly. Evan Lin, despite being new to acting did a phenomenal job of portraying someone who is visually impaired and i am very looking forward to his next drama. His deep, raspy voice is to die for and that singing voice? Talent personified.

Wan Peng was as good as she always is (I'll be honest, she was part of the reason I began watching after seeing her in First Romace with Riley Wang) and protrayed the role of an upbeat psychology major working at a radio station. Her microexpressions were mostly on point, and she truly brought her character to life.

Xiao Lu, ML's aunt/caregiver(?) Is also really sweet and added to the story as a support for both leads. She never pushed them into anything and allowedthe two to find their own pace while she looked on. Its heart warming to see how much she wanted the leads to be together as she knew how happy they were.

The start of the second half feels slightly disconnected story-wise, but the two leads kept me watching (thankfully) as we see them progress into marriage and then a parenthood. Ending felt a little rushed, but that could be me wanting the story to continue on even further. All in all, an amazing drama. I have been rewatching over and over. Would definately recommend for anyone wanting a different story, sweet moments between the leads and a slight bit of melodrama/angst.

WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL

"CRUSH" is a drama where i personally say that you will be glue to it. This drama is simple and beautiful. I Recommend this drama to you if you want to cry and even feel sad for the man in the drama. The main lead acting was perfect because i being blind is one think that is very hard to pull off. The light and HD was perfect and even in the night the light looks like the moon is a full moon, but overall i enjoy this drama would recommend this to everyone. I like how they put in the story that you can like anyone even if they are blind or have a disorder and do not let anyone tell you who you can like or who you can not like.

I was excited to watch this drama. I thought this would be one that I have a hard time moving on from and the FL and ML would be favorite TV couple. I figured, since a lot of people like this drama, it can't be that bad, can it? WRONG. Maybe people have different taste, but this is just okay for me. Nothing to brag about or write to my friends to immediately watch this drama. Well, to be fair, this drama is not all bad. There are some good things about it, for example the music. I love the music, especially the ending theme song of the first half. The story had premise, but I thought it was just not executed well. It started out good, but there is so many loopholes. (SPOILER ALERT: The main loophole is the last episode. How can they have a daughter at the end? When Sang Wu Yan was brought to the hospital, her tummy was FLAT! Even if the baby was prematurely born, her tummy can't be that flat for > 6 months pregnant! That is puzzling. I was hoping for a plot twist at the end, when she said goodbye. I thought she didn't survive and it was all just a dream. I would have given a higher score if that is the case haha). The positive side is, this drama has very minimal conflict, but to me it can be boring. If you're just looking for an easy watch with no conflict and simple romance story, then you would be happy with this drama. As for me, I don't like it.

I was very excited to see this show and I was fully invested with it at first but I honestly wish the series ended right after the MCs broke up. At least now I think that I should have stopped watching it back then.
During episodes 13, 14 and 15 I feel like something was telling that it wasn't going to end up well even though it was clear that they were going to get married in the end (because of the intro spoilers). I continued watching it nonetheless and it did become worse. The moment I hated the most and when I feel the whole show started to go down was when Wu Yan was having dinner with the lawyer and Nian Qin was like "you have 5 seconds to come out, or else...". Or else, what? You think you can really make her leave her date just because you want her to? Did he even care about her feelings? It absolutely think not. And later he was there holding her and kissing her and you could clearly see she wanted to leave but no! He couldn't let her go. And now if someone comes telling me that is love, you really should think about what love really is. From that moment I started to notice more and more toxic behaviors on him that I just can't stand. Nian Qin being basically a kid and having Wu Yan open the door for him every day after work like some type of ritual. And later when they were talking about having a baby and he said he didn't want a son because then they would both compete for Wu Yan. Like what is going on dude? You okay? He was all jealous over Xiao Jie being in the house and Wu Yan spending time with him. Dude, he's a kid! Can you be an adult for once?
I truly wish he would have stayed blind during the whole show or the surgery going wrong, maybe then he wouldn't have been such a bad person.

When love is pure and magical, Crush arrives

I don't usually write reviews even if I should do it more often, but I'm always afraid that what I say will be to the detriment of others. Unfortunately the reviews are a double-edged sword: on the one hand they help, but on the other they confuse and many people then risk not watching dramas that they actually deserve. But in this comment I will put everything that I have perceived in contact with the Crush drama, so with the truth in my pocket I hope that you too will want to watch this promising show. I'm not saying I've never seen romantic, sentimental ones, but with Crush even the coldest or most stony heart can melt, break. I don't usually melt in front of love stories because they have to be done really well, because even with Titanic at the scene of him dying I didn't cry. And I was the only one in the room who didn't, but never mind! With Crush, on the other hand, it was almost normal to have teary eyes when there were the usual melancholy scenes that emerge in every romantic and sentimental genre.
I think Crush in one word is "magic". The two protagonists approach, move away, hold hands and kiss, argue, cry together and yet... every time I watch it, it's like it's the very first time. It's not that erotic, sensual love where the protagonists crave to find each other and then immediately go to bed together, but the delicate, nostalgic, welcoming, deep and yet still makes the heart beat. Makes you want to watch those scenes a hundred times over. There aren't even many kisses, but in my opinion when I saw them they might as well not have been there because the way the two protagonists look at each other, to talk together... is even better than the kiss itself: it melts everything. It makes you forget the pain, the real one of detachment, just as it makes you forget the quarrels they've had. It's like having a first time and a last time, whenever the two main characters speak. And for me it's the sixth - if not more - time that I see this drama again and yet I never get tired of it. And my emotions always go back to being the same: heart pounding, tears almost coming down, butterflies in my stomach and much more. Although I've been seeing it for a while and I know the scenes of this drama by heart, it doesn't matter, the sensations return because it's like falling in love with Crush a hundred times over.

If you like:
- the tense moments that however serve to build a well-developed plot;
- love stories where Love with an A wins over everything;
- a very intense chemistry between two main characters that shines even from the screen, mixed with that of the two secondary characters, YES,
Crush is for you. And it will enter your heart. A person like me who has a heart of stone tells you this.

If you don't like:
- quarrels perhaps a little stupid and nonsense which, however, have served the plot;
- behaviors that leave something to be desired due to their immaturity, irresponsibility, exaggerated insecurity and laziness;
- characters that seem to fill the space a bit at random;
- adults who annoy sometimes in a somewhat disproportionate way;
- delicate issues such as death and "not only" that hit you at the wrong moments, in the wrong scenes because they appear out of nowhere without a due explanation in the previous episodes, NO,
Crush isn't for you. Because it will only annoy you.

Before concluding, I warn you by saying that: in my case I have Viki, so I watch most of the dramas there, but unfortunately Crush is not there - at least in my country of Italy, I don't know in the others -, so I've watched it on "Kissasian" with English subtitles. So that you know where to look for it.
