Best drama i ever seen
I already rewatch it 5times!!Definitely the best cdrama i ever seen. Best plot..best visual..best romance.. best chemistry.
I can not move on from this drama until now. The Male lead and Female lead are the best pair in this world 😍😍. The stories full of romance and sweet scene, you will have good mood throughout the day. No stressing and heavy conflict here. The chemistry between two main lead is like they really fall in love each other in real life
Dont miss this drama!! Hope that we can see more of this pair play a new drama in the future

The most romantic drama I’ve watched yet
Omg I LOVEEEEED this drama! I’m a huge yang yang fan ever since love O2 … i didn’t think he cld top that drama. BUT THIS IS JUST AS GOOD, maybe even better! I love healthy realistic love stories without the unnecessary melodrama … and this fit the bill 100%. We see this mature couple advance from crush to friends to finally long distance dating, live in dating and then married. Just like a normal modern day couple. and then the witty banter and chemistry is off the charts! You don’t need rom com tropes and unnecessary melodrama when the writers know how to entertain an audience with conversations. It’s funny it’s romantic. It’s so feel good and swoon worthy. I loved every second. I’ll be back to watch again! HATS OFF TO THE WRITERS for crafting such a refreshing healthy modern love story!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
COMMUNICATION in a Chinese drama!
I love this drama. It is a nice drama about an adult relationship between two hard working adults, it could be argued they are both workaholics but there we go.There are none of the normal clichés about them breaking up, falling out, someone thinking another is cheating,,,,,,,,etc.......because this pair actually TALKS to one another! something which is amazing to see in a Chinese drama.
The two leads are amazing and only seem to have more chemistry as the show progresses.
The only fault I would find with the show is the end, not because its bad but because in the last two episodes we hardly see our main couple together at all, in fact they hardly speak to each other even though they are in the same place. All through the show it has been about their relationship and how they communicate with each other to make the relationship last, and yet in the end two episodes that gets completely thrown out the window and you feel like you are watching a Chinese version of Apollo 13 or something, a completely different show. We finally do get our leads back together right at the end but I do feel the deep space arc could have been done much shorter and still allowed for a proper ending for our leads, it was a little disappointing.

(Original review)
I have only just finished episode 8 as I am waiting for English Subs (I don't speak enough Chinese yet to follow it all without them), however saying that I can already pink up on a few things which I think will make this show great.
The first thing is the actors. YY and DD are fantastic actors on their own, but put them together and they just seem to explode of the screen, saying this they spend very little of the first few episodes together. The show is very slow at introducing the characters so it relies heavily on the two actors on their owns. DD's character Jingjing is very girly and giggly (and lets face it a bit of a klutz at times) but it really shows her abilty as an actress that she can pull off this type of character just as well as she can the kick ass, strong ones.
On the surface it seems YY is playing the normal over achieving genius he has played so often. But the real skill in his acting in the part of Yu Tu is the subtlety he brings to the part. He shows uncertainty, confliction, all those emotions a normal human would have if they are unsure if they have done the right thing.
Moving on to the story. It is a slow burn beginning so if you like shows where the action begins right away or if the two main characters fall straight into each others arms by episode 2 then this won't be for you. There is alot of story and background that is spelled out even before the two meet, and then it is only over an online game.
As I have seen said in other reviews. This is not an Esports show, it simply has a game/Esports element to it.
However I will be following the show all the way to the end and if you like the kinds of shows where the payoff to the slow burn beginning is worth it then I really recommend this show.

Over hyped and highly rated Drama but beautiful cinematography
How can this crappy boring drama get a 8.8/9 or out of 10? Have people gone mad? This drama is nowhere near Flower of Evil, and I don't even wanna compare this dull drama with Crash Landing on you, familiar Wife, DOTS, Tale of Nine Tailed, My love from the star, W two worlds, Dr Heo and etc. Chinese viewers should watch this masterpiece Kdrama's before rating this crappy drama. The reason that it's soo highly rated is because Dilraba and Yang Yang alone has 130m followers on Weibo. So most of the people's rating them are their own fans. The plot, Yang Yangs acting everything was bad. They could have added some suspense by making a better plot. Too much kissing and hugging. This drama should be rated 7. Dramas that I really loved were FL acted as an actress were My love from the star, find me in your memory, beauty inside. This drama cannot be compared to this masterpieces.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

My Favorite C Drama romance
By far my favorite C drama romance. I’ve lost count on my rewatches. The actors are great and both so beautiful individually and together. I can rewatch just for the hugs. They are epic. The storyline of each supporting the dreams of the other while having a passionate love is something i cannot get enough of. *minor spoiler* I loved that they gave us so many episodes of their happy life together and the evolution of their love. Just the right balance of comedy, heart wrenching and happiness in my opinion. I could have done with a little less on the science scenes but fast forward button takes care of that. And i enjoyed them more in rewatch actually. Lol. Practically perfect in every way. If there were any deleted scenes i urge them to issue a director’s cut that includes them. Love, love, love this one.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

YOU ARE EACH OTHER'S GLORY. HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP GOALS. LOVEO20 DESTROYED.
This is one of the most adult, heartwarming and mature drama i've ever watched. This is not the classic romance cdrama with slowburn relationship, it's a full deepening in real life struggles and dreams.
This is not just about love but how they built the relationship throughout the years. She supported him and i love how secure they made it each other feel the moment the started dating. Theyre both each others' glory. This drama gives us the warm feeling of feeling love, being loved. I love how imperfect they are that perfect for each other. This drama follows very closely the novel by Gu Man.
Love changes their perspective. They support each other until the end. Loving each other, still being perfectly imperfect together, but being the best version of themselves.
The problems they have are never childish and easily avoidable, but valide issues about their own lives and their relationship.
Yang Yang and Dilraba's chemistry is on point, and real. They are clearly deeply involved and connected ( onscreen and offscreen). They hug and and continue holding onto each other walking around the kitchen, or give pecks or forehead kisses. The portrayal is like a real life couple in the 30s act. This a the kind of chemistry that cant be faked, it's too overwhelming.
The only thing we can consider "negative" is that Yu Tu at the beginning has not quite changed, his insecurities, his bothers, his prejudices towards Jing Jing are still there.
I started this drama only because trailers showed a real chemistry. This is my first drama with Dilraba, and Yang Yang is not my cup of tea as actor.
But i admit, this time he proved me totally wrong.
I liked Jing Jing, she's strong-willed but cute like every girl. She knows what she wants but she is human, she had doubts and sorrows.
My greatest surprise was Yu Tu. Since i hated Ruo bai, Ye Xiu and Xiaonai ( with abusive relationship in Loveo2o), i bet that Yu Tu could be another copycat. I was wrong.
This is the first time i really felt warmth from one of his characters, warmth and humanity.
Yu Tu is perfectly imperfect. Yu Tu is smart, but he has problems, doubts, sorrows, and a lot of feeling. A cold-iced character is emotionless, an introvert one has difficulties in expressing feelings.
Yu Tu is an introvert man who struggles for his dreams facing reality, and he gradually melts. I really appreciated it.
It's true that gaming parts, tv shows parts and the aerospacial one can be boring, but they are still important in the story. The focus in not the love relationship. but the growth of the main characters.
I suggest this for Yang Yang fans, even though it's not enough for me to like him and i still dislike him.

Time flies, you discover that I'm the star glittering in your heart, so can I become your glory?
My first return to C-dramas in over 10 years, You Are My Glory (YAMG) was well worth it! A blend of winsome, refreshing romance, coupled with mischievous banter and chemistry (much owed to our OTP), with the backdrop of e-sports.A detailed, unbiased review for those who want it.
Recommended for: Those who enjoy watching a youthful crush mature into a deeper romance in adulthood where characters learn the importance of self-worth and finding someone who loves them for who they are — and in particular wholeheartedly supports their dreams.
**OVERALL SUMMARY**
As a recent fan of Dilraba (Reba), YAMG caught my initial attention with the attractive star-studded cast, however, I was pleasantly surprised at my level of enjoyment when viewing this.
About The E-Sports theme
As some have mentioned, it is not your TYPICAL e-sports show. If you're looking for a heavy e-sports focus, you'll be disappointed. E-sports is merely the backdrop/catalyst of how our OTP reunite and ignite their adult romance. I for one, am not a fan of e-sports, so did find that the first 6-8 episodes weren't that memorable. However, these episodes do set the scene for how Yu Tu (YT) falls in love with Qiao Jing Jing (QJJ), and leads them the turning point of their relationship post episodes 14-15 after the big match. A plus side is that these first episodes aired altogether and run for 30 minutes, so watching these didn't feel like a drag.
If you're NOT a fan of e-sports, but can sit through the first 14 or so eps (~ 7 hours), this drama is worth reaching that turning point.
About The Romance
In this drama, the romance is a slow burn. It's natural and organic. So if you're expecting them to fall in love at first sight or for the romance to happen in the first few eps, either skip to about episode 18-19 onward, or decide it's not for you. The first third of the drama is focused on e-sports, the secondary plots, and YT's career, and the remaining two thirds of the drama dedicated to the OTP romance.
About The Book
I've read this drama follows the original book closely. If you've read the book, you won't be disappointed. I appreciate coherence to the original story, but in the essence of a good heroes journey, there is no huge conflict or arc that occurs between the OTP. In that sense, the story remains more even paced rather than with big peaks or lows. I don't mind this too much, however, this narrative type doesn't suit everyone. More on that below.
**STUFF I LIKED - PROS**
- The characters: I like Reba and Yang Yang (YY)'s portrayal of QJJ and YT, in particular:
Dilraba as QJJ
She's cute, winsome, a little innocent yet mischievous, but is not a pushover. I for one, was not bothered by the fact that QJJ liked YT from the start, and seemingly liked him throughout the decade they were a part. Undoubtedly, it was her prior interest in him which is what helped bring them together. I totally supported her when YT rejected her for the second time, in that she didn't come running back to him immediately after he said he wanted to be with her! She valued herself and gave herself time. She made him WORK for it. She wasn't some love struck FL that was treated badly and ran back into the ML's arms. Her response was normal and healthy.
I also love Reba's portrayal of the cheeky sides of QJJ. The slight eyebrow raises, smirks, innocent doe eyes, slight smiles, and the way she teases the HELL out of YT. She breaks him out of his shell, and in actuality, generates character growth in YT. He goes from cold, stoic, selfish, and self-doubting to warm, caring, and putting someone else's needs above his own. The thing I loved most was that she supported his dreams! In the dinner incident with YT's mentor, QJJ gets upset when YT grills her on minding her own business and not interfering with his career choices. Supporting the dreams of someone you care about when they don't even fully realise it themselves, is true love my friends.
Yang Yang as YT
Initially stoic, wooden, and cold, I felt that YY's performance had room for improvement. It wasn't until later in episodes 16-20 onward that I realised it wasn't YY's delivery, but the nature of YT's character. The tears in his eyes when he rejects her, the subtle inflections in his tone, his poignant gaze, his lit up smiles when QJJ is around, the way he embraces her. YT's cheekiness when serving her a taste of her own medicine are some of my favourite scenes. It's a complete 360 to the YT we're initially introduced to.
I need to see more of YY's acting to determine how good of an actor he really is, but I can tell from YT's performance that YY deserves credit of being a more three dimensional actor than just being a handsome face.
- Their chemistry:
If I were to base my liking of this drama on their chemistry alone, this would get 10/10! QJJ and YT are so cute together. I love how their relationship is completely platonic initially, with YT helping QJJ with her game, and by nature of spending significant periods of time together, YT falls in love with her. In particular, I felt it refreshing that unlike the rest of the world, YT isn't charmed by QJJ's fame and looks, if anything it's her fame and fortune which detracts him and makes him initially hesitant and self-conscious about pursing her, even though deep down, he likes her.
The mopey episodes while he's in the desert add to this, and I find the notion of writing hand-written letters in the 21st century and posting them in the mailbox classically beautiful. YT definitely deserves brownie points for going back to their old high school chats and crafting specific responses to her questions in a vow to win back her affections.
Most noticeably, in an earlier episode with Guan Zai, I like how YT introduces the 'girl' in his life as "smart, mischievous, and receptive." They.are.character.traits! He doesn't talk about her beauty. Her fame. Her money. He likes her for WHO she is, not WHAT she is.
Regarding QJJ, while I find it unlikely that as a celebrity, you'd still be in love with your high school crush, I do appreciate that she doesn't just fall into a pile of mush when YT helps her out with the game. She doesn't get salty that his feelings weren't reciprocal. Nor does she expect it now that the tables have turned and as an adult she's on paper more "attractive" than he is. She stands her ground, she's somewhat detached, and treats their game playing relationship as what it is; platonic. Only through their time together does YT really see how attractive she is and that he made a MISTAKE for not reciprocating her feelings when they were younger. She eventually forgives him, not just because of his birthday present, but because she can see that his feelings are genuine (even if she's apprehensive about linking him more).
A few of my favourite OTP highlights:
- How both of them cheekily throw the other under the bus when meeting their parents
- Their blind date / you can never trust a girl's selfie banter
- How she's his AI girlfriend when doing long distance
- Him being too comfortable in her house and at her mailbox
- The tricks YT pulls to get to stay over/ get JJ to stay over
- How she used an air purifier to initially get in contact with YT again
- The SKINSHIP:
BOY CAN YT kiss!!! Dayum. Their kiss scenes/bed scene had me SQUEALING. Reba and YY make such a visually appealing couple, it's hot beyond denial. Their variety shows and BTS banter really helps you SHIP them both in the drama and IRL.
- The fact they're both flawed:
Hooray for not having that fully polished CEO with looks, intelligence, the body, money, and some childhood trauma. While there are stereotypical aspects to both of their characters, they're still inherently flawed. QJJ is bad at a game she's a sponsor of. She's a little vain and materialistic. She puts herself on the line, is impulsive, and doesn't think too much when in love. She gets rejected twice for goodness sake.
With YT, he's smart and handsome, but not financially well off. His ideas initially get rejected at work and his career plateaus. His peers during high school are climbing the corporate ladder but he doesn't really have much to show for all the potential he had. He starts to doubt himself. He makes up lame excuses about belonging to different worlds when rejecting QJJ. QJJ and YT's flaws are what makes them relatable and their character development that much more enjoyable.
- They support each other's dreams:
This falls more in line with QJJ, but I love that in contrast to Xia Qing, QJJ supports YT's goal as an aerospace engineer and has genuine interest in it. She wanted to go to the same uni as him. She asked him space related questions when in school. Though her motivations may have been due to the fact that she liked him, her genuine interest is authentic and unadulterated.
On YT's side, I love that he soon realises that he's not the centre of the universe and that QJJ ends up being more busy than he is! Her long filming trips really is the definition of distance making the heart grow fonder. Unlike her douchebag ex, YT supports QJJ's career and even gives her support and advice when she's not doing well.
**STUFF I DIDN'T LIKE AS MUCH - CONS**
- The theme of weight/body/looks :
Understandably QJJ is a celebrity, however, I did find that the frequent recurring reference to her weight/food/diet/ how thin she is could be really triggering for some people. With eating disorders being the number one form of mental illness, and the sheer popularity of this show, I felt the consistent reference to weight a little off-putting and could be detrimental to young people's mental health/self-worth. Also, the reference to how attractive YT is is present throughout, and it is almost mentioned as frequently as how smart he is. Surely as a person, character traits beyond his looks and intelligence are more important?
- YT's arrogance:
Again, this is a character trait and not so much about YY's delivery, but I found his narcissism a bit too much at times. In particular with reference to ep 20, when YT confronts QJJ about answering her high school questions in hand-written letters from him having no meaning, he makes it about himself. "Did I do something stupid? Has my IQ gone into negative?". I get that we can do foolish things in love, but I wasn't a huge fan of how he framed it as her fault, and even his confession overall felt more about him rather than about her.
- The themes of money, status, and power:
Recognising that a major theme of this show is how the pursuit of happiness comes from one living and achieving their dreams, I do admit that the notion of money/status/power is present to show how we can get bogged down by societal norms. YT does a double degree in aerospace engineering and business, but when his career plateaus and the health of his mum deteriorates, he considers giving up on his dream. His ex-girlfriend Xia Qing also shows a stereotypical mindset exhibited from a lot of Asian cultures, which is that power and money defines a person's attractiveness and value.
- No major climax/peak:
This can be considered both a con or pro, depending on your preference. 25-26 episodes in, viewers get the taste that after the big union of the OTP, nothing much happens in their relationship. There is no major conflict/drama or arc, but rather the remaining scenes are filled with swoon-worthy romance and excessive skinship/ PDA ( not that I'm not complaining!). That being said, for viewers looking for more depth in the story, or looking for issues to generate further character development, you're not going to get it. The story flat lines at a strong connection and chemistry between the OTP and that's it.
- Random, unrelated plots:
I find the subplots of Guan Zai and his wife a little random in the earlier episodes, and his cancer story line drops off the radar completely. I understand that the second leads story line has more prevalence in the book, but the way it translates into the drama seems a bit random and unnecessary for me. Three quarters of the story in and I don't really see how this ties into the main plot.
For me, the pros far outweigh the cons for this wistful, fun drama. Overall, this drama is light, heart-felt, and very swoon worthy. With a slight focus on e-sports, its ideal for dreamers, romantics, and those who appreciate space. It's truly a jade rabbit who catches a shinning star.

Cheers to further exploration on the galaxy
My very first CDrama that talks about aerospace. And i promise you, this one will get you hooked. Because i did.I watch this with no expectation, only want to see Yang Yang and Reba in one frame. But yes, after 32 episodes, i can say the storyline is quite interesting.
They are not talking about the successful and confidence ML, they talk about the struggling and insecure ML. They are not talking about cute and innocent FL, they talk about the smart and quick witted ML. They talk about the LDR works between two busy people. And i find this kinda relate with life. And i love the movie for it. Yes, lots of peole might find the aerospace talks boring, but if you are find it fascinating, you will like it.
The casts for ML and FL did not dissapoint me, we all know they are good, even great! Their chemistry is crazy, i even want Yu Tu for myself 🤧
Overall, the drama is one of a kind (for me, at least).

Healthy romance + online games and aerospace
This drama is about the love story between an actress and an aerospace engineer. The female lead is endorsing a mobile game but is caught by netizens for being a bad player. To redeem her image, she has to play at a live event and prove to everyone her skills. Online, she stumbles upon her high-school crush (who rejected her) a.k.a. the male lead. He happens to be an expert at the game so she hires him to help her. Meanwhile the male lead is facing his own dilemma in life, whether to quit his dream job and find a more stable one.I didn’t have much expectations going into this drama, just thought it would be a nice before-bed watch. The first half was amazing and actually kept me awake at night. The gaming felt very nostalgic as it reminded me of my teen years when I was a hard-core gamer. However the second half was ok/a bit boring. I needed more of their dating/together era… something was kind of missing to make my heart flutter.
POSITIVE:
- Mature and authentic dialogue.
- High production cinematography. You can tell they spent money for the game and space shots.
- Nice intimate/kiss scenes. I loved that the male lead would always pull/grab her unexpectedly towards him.
- No love triangles, very clean romance, the exes show up and leave very swiftly and fast.
- No misunderstandings, no toxic stuff, no families against the relationship. It didn’t follow the cliche route which was nice.
- The game's visuals look amazing and if you are a MMORPG game lover, you will appreciate them.
- Cute romance but also a big focus on career.
- Easy and relaxing watch. Only 30 min per ep.
- Yang Yang is hot and Dilraba looks great.
NEGATIVE:
- Aerospace talks. I didn’t understand anything but at least visually it looked nice. Some episodes were very focused on that topic a bit too much for my taste so I had to ff/skip.
- Okish/boring second half. I needed more of their dating/together era… something was kind of missing to make my heart flutter.
- Side couple. They didn’t have much screen time but what I saw was very boring and pretty much a ff/skip.
OVERALL:
If you are looking for a healthy, cute romance and don't mind the focus on gaming and aerospace, you will enjoy this drama. It’s a very easy and relaxing watch for the evenings.

Realistic Romance Chinese Drama
I make this account just to tell people how I really appreciate this drama. This is a lengthy review and I'm not good at arranging words so excuse me if my words below seems like all over the place 🙇♀️So first of all, I've only been into Chinese drama during the pandemic to look more drama beside Korean. I already knew Yang Yang and Dilireba during my journey discovering more Chinese drama but this is the first time I see both of their acting. In my opinion, both of their acting are okay. Both nailed their own character although I feel like they could do better and be more 'natural' because sometimes I find their acting could be quite stiff in some scene, especially Yang Yang (although my friend said that Yang Yang's acting is way better than his Love O2O character). But overall, I still like how they carry out Yu Tu and Qiao Jingjing's character that is still enjoyable for me, a first timer to their acting.
*intermezzo: Dilireba's visual is always as beautiful, but Yang Yang really caught me off guard. I mean before this drama, to me he looks ordinary, like he's indeed good looking but that's it (idk if this makes sense but yeah, lol). His visual didn't attract me like other Chinese actors. But after playing as Yu Tu, suddenly his visual rising up that I'm drooling over him now 🤣😍🤩 like now I see him in new light lol*
Actually, I'm not into e-sport so I had the urge to skip almost all the gaming session because simply I can't understand it!. I got even more confused when they talk about the avatar skills, the technique, ranking and I don't even know the objective of the game itself 🤣🤣 (But then again, I could go through Go Go Squid so I could get through this too lol). But I'm glad I didn't skip any of that because their chemistry during the first half helped me to get more of it in the second half.
One thing I love the most about this drama is actually the story itself. Even though this is a romance drama, it's not filled with unrealistic events so it doesn't feel like watching a drama at all. I've noticed that in rom-com Chinese drama, they tend to ditch real life job for the sake of romantic story. But this drama really highlight each character's job in which helping Yu Tu and Qiao Jingjing's relationship. I don't know how accurate the aerospace engineer is portrayed in this drama, but it seems legit and I'm enjoying it more than the gaming scene (yes, because I can't relate at all to the game). I don't think Asian drama ever cover this kind of job (cmiiw) but this helps me to have a better picture of the job itself.
They did Yu Tu's character justice because to me, him wanting to quit aerospace because of financial in the beginning is realistic. Because let's be honest, salary is one of the most important thing when deciding a job whether it's your passion or not. You could have career in the field you detest the most but can be compromised by the high salary you get or even the opposite like Yu Tu. Although at the end he's stick with his passion, I feel like many people could relate to his struggle.
And don't get me into their romance. I love that their mood is either dissing each other or flirting like there is no in between lol. I also could feel the chemistry all over the screen to the point I feel like I'm third-wheeling them every time they're flirting with each other 🤣🤣 lol. Their relationship is so healthy and such a couple goal. No unnecessary break up in the middle of dating because of petty thing. Ngl I kinda worried when he was asked about his whereabouts, like I genuinely scared this might be papparazi undercover, but what a plot twist 🤣🤣 I even more amazed by her manager reaction because usually in other drama, the celeb's team would do anything to bury and deny the dating news or even get the couple break. But she's so supportive even had prepare plan ABCD to support whatever Qiao Jingjing's decision haha. Both of them really respect and support each other's profession and that's what makes their relationship mature than any other romance drama I've watched. I really like every time both of them were away but still have the time to keep communicating either by chat or by phone to show that they really love and care for each other.
Overall, I'm happy this drama didn't disappoint and I'm genuinely enjoy it. The whole drama is just filled with happiness and fluff, something that we need sometimes with the not-so-friendly relaity. By the time I'm writing this, I've finished watching for the 2nd time and on going to the 3rd time because I simply can't move on 😂Even though there some parts I'm dissatisfied about, I won't bother to pinpoint it because the good things about it beat the minor things I'm not satisfied with.
