Someone please explain me the hype

I have no idea why this drama is so highly rated.
I just could not watch it after a few episodes.
I am a huge fan of Yang Yang and even still I could not complete it.
The actress? Who is she kidding? Her acting is terrible compared to the ML. I tried to understand her fame but I think it is only because of her beauty (she is beautiful no doubt) but that's all to it.
I wish Yang Yang better pairings in the future
The drama was stuck inside phone screens for so long that I could not handle it. I needed real human connections but I guss I just couldn't vibe with the idea.

Love in the world of galaxy

As dramatic as it may sound...yes it is a lovestory on the plains of a galaxy...lol.

Acting: Both leads are exceptional actors. YY is that boy you will continuously have a crush on till he notices you*wink*. DD has the right amount of cuteness to make you fall in love with her character,but i would love to see her play a strong FL without being the silly girl in the beginning of a series who is love smitten by an ML.
Story: one thing about the storyline is the progression. It was beautifully done. No rush, progressive development. The down side is that some character like the FL's ex- boyfriend disappeared somewhere after one episode...not sure if it is because i have only watched 12 episodes at the moment..still watching though. The aerospace concept seems to draggy and it is a bit hard,complex and length!!!! It seems to be taking away the whole space in the story!!!
The story between an aerospace systems engineer and an actress is worth watching if you don't mind all the aerospace terms and happening you can't understand.

Disappointing

Do not recommend unless you are really into gaming or want to stare at main leads who are both pretty but unfortunately have no chemistry. The show has been a huge letdown, the story is boring and the acting is very disappointing, especially on Yang Yang’s part. I was not expecting much but in a romance drama there must be at least something between the leads, right? Well, it’s not there, they look like siblings.
You watch it and you just feel nothing, it’s more of a gaming ad than a romance. If you like romance dramas, I recommend kdramas, no one does it better than them.

Let's be each other's glory.

I read the book so here I am, I had to watch it to see what they made of it. I've enjoyed this very much, it's a multi faceted story that encompasses gaming, romance, aerospace engineering and the world of celebrity quite coherently. The close lens into the Chinese aerospace industry ended up being very interesting even though I wasn't too keen to see it initially, ditto with the gaming.

Apart from reading the book, I'm here for Dilraba because I find her acting so charming; coming into this Yang Yang was not a favourite of mine because I didn't enjoy his robotic performance in Love O2O, but I was pleasantly surprised here. I think a lot can be said for acting opposite a co-star who ups your acting game and Dilraba certainly appears to have done that here for Mr. Yang - he's actually very charming and endearing in this.

I like how they emphasised the concept of excellence in your career and doing what you love to the best of your ability over making tons of money. Jing Jing and Yu Tu are a very well matched couple who understand and support each other very well. There'a an abundance of cute couple moments and the grown up, responsible and drama free dynamic of their relationship is what kept me watching.

If you've read the book you'll enjoy seeing it brought to life so accurately, If you haven't read it you should watch this anyway, it's quite enjoyable.

PPL and Propaganda piece disguised as a rom-com

When you fast forward through the awkwardly placed advertisements and the excessively tedious scenes about China's space race (waste of money, resources and detrimental to the environmental btw), you get yourself a cute, light-hearted romantic comedy that is mostly carried by Dilraba Dilmurat.

Dilraba is a charming and dynamic presence onscreen, especially in contrast to her leading man, YangYang, who looks like he's posing for a magazine every time he moves. The scenes that focus on the latter - which there are a lot of them as the drama goes into strange science-fiction territory - are pretty boring. The dialogue is difficult to understand, YangYang's acting ranges between looking serious and mildly surprised, and the propaganda is so blatant and annoying. I swear, if I took a shot every time a character said "For the glory of the motherland" I would be passed out drunk on the kitchen floor.

Nevertheless, the scenes in which are leads are together are sweet (even if they do sometimes feel shallow with all the talk about looks). Dilraba and YangYang have good chemistry together which makes up for the latter's otherwise boring and wooden presence onscreen.

I would not watch it again, and would advise anyone who is interested in watching this for the leads and the romance to fast forward through all of the aerospace stuff and treat episode 30 as if it were the last episode.

A little bored but I still like it

this is a good drama, the beginning of the episode I quite liked it and was waiting for a legendary scene soon for the opening of the episode, but I didn't find a special scene, until almost a quarter of the episode of this drama I felt bored, sometimes the story is too serious in work life, even so I will keep watching until the last episode hoping there are some new surprises. I think they should have added some funny scenes or something that made me fell in love at the beginning of this story, indeed there were some, but there were no scene parts that really made me fall in love with this e-sports genre. Usually e-sports genre dramas will really make me fall in love... I hope that future episodes will give me the impression that this drama is very good and deserves to be the most awaited drama. Even though I was bored strangely, I chose to stay watching this drama, maybe because the actors were Dilraba and Yangyang, the story in this drama also seemed to give me curiosity to keep watching it. I'll see you when I've watched the middle of the episode, if I don't forget I'll give another review, I'm sure the rating I gave will go up, hopefully

Love the cast, but the story was meh

I loved the cast in this, but I felt that the story dragged A LOT, especially around the second half. I was very much intrigued and drawn in by the first 15 or so episodes, but found that I slowly lost interest afterwards because so little was happening. They could have done so much in terms of plot and character development, and although I liked the cute moments, I wished there was more going on or maybe even some conflict in the second half. (For example, in the first 10 episodes or so, Xia Qing (Yu Tu's ex) had said she would never allow Yu Tu and Jing Jing to get together, but we never heard from her again afterwards. Even though it might have been a little cliche, I would have loved to see loose ends like these tied up.)

I did, however, I like the music/OST's in this drama, though I can't see myself doing a complete rewatch.

The best part of this would be at middle to end. I've read the novel and I appreciate that they followed the original plot. I don't understand why someone would give low rating for it. If your into medium light plot not too heavy then this is for you. It's not really too heavy for me but it's shows you the reality that most us are facing. For instance, yutu is lost and wanted to give up his dream of becoming a aerospace engineer due to low salary. He was the so called genius who graduated in business finance and engineering at the same time however he choose his dream and in the end failed to provide for his family. He was prideful when he was younger, he didn't really think qiao jingjing would fit him. He told her that he wanted someone who can understand and assist him. He didn't think qiao jing jing has that ability coz she's not the smartest in the class. Although qjj is in a top class she is not the top student. It wasn't enough for him. He dated the top student instead but eventually they broke up coz the girl didn't understand how important his job is to him. Ten years later he met her again, this time he realized that ever since the beginning it was only jing jing who understood him the most. Qiao jing jing even know his dreams and aspirations and always supported him even now that he's about to let go. That's the time he realized hes very arrogant. Even though he started to like her he can't manage to be with her. Hes too ashamed that he cannot provide for her. Qiao jing jing on the other hand didn't care but he left her broken hearted for the second time around. The day of their separation is the most exciting part of the novel. I'm pretty sure it'll show on the cdrama as well. This drama has a 100m view on the 4hrs of its airing. It only means it's a great drama. Please watch it until the end. It's worth your vip in wetv

There is more to life than money.

While I am not sure what the director wanted to show when they started writing this drama. There is enough fluff in it to take the bad mood off from a tiring day.

There is no big conflict, or a villain per se. There are exes, but I believe they are there for reference point more so than any true friction adding capability to the main couple.

The main leads look beautiful and well paired. Enjoying Yang Yang's performance as someone who is good at what he does and yet is insecure about where he is in life. And Dilruba is cool as the well established actress with a good head on her shoulders. It doesn't look natural, but is entertaining.

Romance takes 20 episodes to start, so come in with patience.
