After failing to reclaim his authority as the emperor from the eunuch, Emperor Wenzong of Xing passed away. His brother Qi Yan succeeds the throne with the help of the eunuch, now Duke Chu and Godfather to Qi Yan. With influence over Qi Yan, Duke Chu still holds control over the court. As it's my first time watching this kind of drama I have to pay a loy of attention. It was good but I quite didn't understand what was the political issue and some other stuff too. But as a episode one this was really interesting. I tried to watch few Chinese historical drama but drop after 3-5 episodes
