Feel Good Comedy Lakorn

I’ll keep this review short and sweet. If you’re tired of intense lakorns this lakorn is for you! This lakorn is such a feel good drama. It’s so hilarious and had me laughing the entire time at the antics of Dao/Faidam. It had just enough drama to it that it wasn’t pure comedy and I just overall really enjoyed watching it.

-Namfah was hilarious and had me laughing the entire time I was watching, but when it came to the crying/emotional scenes she did phenomenal! You really felt her sadness and confusion. For being so young and this being her first main role/her first time being a nang’ek she did really well! It’s also a plus that she’s so pretty!

-August was a bit stiff at times with his acting, but he still did really well and he does really well with the serious boyish roles (ex. his role in U-Prince Single Lawyer was pretty similar to his role as Param). He had great chemistry with Namfah and their back and forth was really funny to watch.

-P’Oab and Pon were a really cute couple too!

-Morn/Param’s mother was so stingy it was embarrassing, but I loved how even though it’s her personality to be so stingy she still cared for Faidam a lot and even gave her money when Faidam’s grandma was “sick” as well as told her that she will pick her up if ever she got lost even though that would also be technically spending more money.

-I loved Dao/Faidam’s friends! Wat and Taew were always so freaking funny and were always there for Dao/Faidam. I loved them! Especially Wat just going with every idea and gimmick Dao has and also helping her realize that she loves Param.

-Rika was a pretty good antagonist. She was annoying and everything an antagonist should be, but it wasn’t overboard which fit this lakorn well.

Overall, I really enjoyed this drama and it was a surprise to me just how much I liked it. Would really recommend for those who are looking for a comedy lakorn!

P.S. Can we discuss the dad casually cheating in episode 19 (and a couple times after that) and Oab just letting him? Lol that didn’t sit right with me, but overall this drama was still a solid 8/10!

Pure rom-com - pas pour débutant, mais drôle

A regarder comme une pure rom-com, à ne pas prendre au sérieux. Pas de grand message philosophique, mais distrayant.

La story est bien menée, sans longueur. On ne sait pas ce qui va se passer à chaque instant. La réalisation est sympa, mais il faut être indulgent car les ficelles sont souvent grosses.

Les acteurs sont excellents, n'ont pas peur du ridicule car l'humour est souvent caricatural et les personnages surjouent beaucoup.
Le ML est particulièrement handsome (August Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong :) et j'espère le voir dans des rôles plus sérieux.

Une question : pourquoi les lakorn incluent systématiquement de la musique en continu ? Pourquoi tant de bruitages (renforcent l'humour ? pas ¨sür... plutôt gênant).

En résumé : drama conseillé si vous avez l'habitude des lakorns et sans prise de tête. Très drôle si on est indulgent.

Light mood; as usual thai lakron

After many serious series of drama when I want to just kill time with light mood lifting, I usually go to watch random thai lakron. Some of them comes up really good, some are just nonsense! In that context, this drama was overall enjoyable

One thing people should keep in mind that thai social norm is very very different than other asian culture. And if you can accept that as "normal" then only you can enjoy the thai lakron. Some plots are very nonsense which you can never even imagine in any other C or K drama. So, no need to be too judgemental and just accepting it as it is.

As usual ML has to deal with more than 1 woman with diplomatic attitude, nothing new here. what I felt here that this drama has very rush and illogical ending which is the big failure of this drama. It may have put an ending at episode 23 and that could have been the best presentation. There was absolutely no need to enter a completely new character without a proper introduction. and that actually made FL's character pretty much disgusting and two-timing with very cheap moral value. Actually it just ruined the FL's image. So, yes very disappointment at the ending.

Romantically Humorous

●HOW I CAME TO IT
I saw a MV of the series on YT and then I watched the whole lakron.

●STORY
FL is against the arrange marriage as she thinks that ML wants to marry him to get her money. She tries to prove this point to her family and to gain evidence she works as a maid in ML house.

●PLOT VIEW
The plot is simple but interesting. More than leads its a story of Lormdao and ML mother Pisamorn. Their equation in the whole is amusing and fragile.
I don’t agree with what FL though that her marriage alliance was for money, but anybody in her shoes might think the same. Parents choose the best partner for us, but sometimes they can be wrong too and the whole family of Lormdao failed to give a proper reason, why they liked Dr. Param.
I just Loved the disguise And for a few episodes I actually felt they are two people.Am happy that they took the mole to make her ugly, I am not saying having mole is ugly its the faidam mole TBH was ugly. The plot became a bit draggy in the mid but it gains the pace again. The stinginess of Pisamorn is never explained, but her scenes were written beautifully.
Secondary couple is too cute and balances the story nicely.

●ACTING/CAST
The cast is amazing and the acting is above par.
▪︎Namfah as faidam became a strong mood booster and as Lormdao she became stupid. I liked more her as faidam, she was smart, headstrong and comical and the way of dialogue delivery was excellent. This is her first lead role and knowing that she did a pretty good job.
▪︎August as Dr. Param is handsome, but its my first time watching him. He was Quick wit and while Everyone is playing games and he just plays along instead of vandalizing it with truth. He is one of kind, soft hearted, caring, honest and little playful.

●MUSIC
The opening and closing tracks were melodious. ‘Trust Yourself’ by August is very soulful and sets the mood of the show. He is certainly has got an stunning voice.

●REWATCH
It is rewatchable as its very light and has lots of comical scenes.

●APPRECIATION
I appreciate Namfah for taking up the role and with all that makeup that took hours of time, she maintained it with grace and acted amazingly well.
I loved that the writers and directors didn’t pick eyeglasses for a means of disguise. As in most of the drama and movies wearing eyeglass is considered ugly.

Pisamorn stinginess

●AFTERTHOUGHT
Everyone is beautiful whatever colour, mole,scar you have. You have to be just YOU, and no one in the world can stop you.

Best Lakorn for starters, and also for those who love ROM-COM

This lakorn is one of my favorite romantic comedy drama, in fact I've watched this twice and I still feel the excitement and happiness I felt the first time I've watched this. Definitely the worth to watch drama! It's the best, the plot is not boring you won't dare to skip any episode because there's always a twist and lots of comedy. You'll have the definition of tears and (not OF) joy while watching! ??

Namfah and August really have the best chemistry, I hope these two will be engaged with more lakorns together as the main role, and if ever it happens, I hope the episode will be much longer.

Do watch this show!!

This show is just so lovely! U get to know about many things. This drama is just too wholesome, and I assure u that u re gonna love this drama from the core of ur heart!! This show left a huge impact on me! I have been dreaming about this drama all day long! Can’t get over it! It was worth watching dang! I highly recommend u all to watch this show!
From the girl disguising herself to the end I loved it!! The boy namely Param woofff he is way tooo hot and has a lovely behaviour as for the girl I really love the way she looks from been Dao to Faidam!! She is just herself, I loved her character! As for the villain ?‍♀️ oh no no I hate her character from the core of my heart, gold digger omg!

Nice love story

Very cute love story but tangled a lot to reveal the truth which makes it sometime boring.
Ending of the drama is the best . Very cute small family . This is the perfect happy ending .
My favourite character is dr. Param's mother ,she looked cute and adorable and her character is little funnny and caring nature .
True friendship also seen in the drama .
I like the scene when a crazy man followed her to snatch the food she had in her hand but she thought he following her ,so these scene is little bit funny .Rest in the drama is a roller coaster ride , too much increases the story of disguise character.

Boring

No offense to the casts their acting were superb! The only problem is the storyline, it’s very plain and boring. 90% of the drama set was in Param’s house. Few episodes in the beginning were fun seeing her various ideas to escape from the doctor, but when it continued up until ep 20+ it’s getting boring. You can consider it as a same cycle, nearly getting exposed-escaped continuously. No spices at all in the dramas. I even watched it in 2x speed to finish this drama.

Not to mention I really hate the female lead character. She’s a spoiled brat. Idk what’s the point in having completed her studies abroad but making stupid decision by disguising herself. The queen of running away from problems. It’s really satisfying seeing her being exposed by the antagonist tho. That’s what you get for being a spoiled, selfish brat the whole drama. She doesn’t deserve a happy ending. Her characters are fxking stupid.

ONE OF THE BEST ROMCOM

Um excuse me? Why haven't I watched this earlier? This was so fun! I love everything about this series and if you guys would recommend any drama like this i'd probably watch it to so please recommend some! This is my 3rd thai drama I watched U-prince and I didn't realize August is there too lol


First of all, the story wasn't original like we all know that it's a well known plot and i'm a sucker for this kinds of plot where the fl pretends (pretends to be a boy/poor/ugly/someone) but this one really catched my attention. I easily drop dramas that are boring and just making it longer by adding unnecessary stuff, but this one I hoped that it would be longer. You will not get bored of the story even though they get so much problems ( it's a headache LOL) i find it so hilarious everytime. If your looking for a soft/fluffy drama definetely recommend this one!


The cast on the otherhand is so hilarious too! especially the girl that played faidam she is so into character I love her emotions she gets into it so freaking good if u know what i mean! They are all visuals (good looking) and the acting is superb ? doctors mom is also so good at acting– well they all are hilarious! I also noticed how the actress that played taew doesn't get enough roles and I hope to see her in a main role soon! Rika was a good villain too she gets on my nerve which means she's a good actress ? LOL


Music is good too, sometimes I woulf skip the intro so I can listen to it.


This is something I'd probably rewatch again if I miss them or get bored, It's so hilarious you won't drop it ^^ So overall 10/10 I love these kinds of series I hope they make more of these ?? I'm gonna miss the cast especially august, ive fallen inlove with him ?

I couldn't finish the drama!

Tl; Dr: I'd not recommend it!

Honestly, the premise was a little interesting at first and got me intrigued. And, the rating was 7.9 at the time when I picked it up. I can't for the life of me figure out how it got such high ratings. Maybe since this is a specific sub-genre of comedy.

Story - FL pretends to be a cook and works at the ML's house to prove that he is not suitable to be her husband, as arranged by their respective families. Everything goes down hill from there. I dropped the series since I got frustrated by how stubborn the FL was. I love stubborn women - I think it is sometimes cute. But in this case, the FL was stubborn to the point of being stupid. Also, why was she getting jealous over the ML when she trying to reject him for marriage? I mean, nothing added up! The ML himself was a bit of a weirdo. He is a psychiatrist and didn't seem to know anything about being a mental health professional. And, I found him to be a wimp. And there was no chemistry - so that was a let down too. And, Why oh Why did they have to use dark makeup to indicate that she was of some 'low' class. I hated that!

Acting - The ML is eye candy, I'll admit (I thought he looked a little like Jin, from BTS - and throughout the episodes I watched, I imagined Jin as the actor! :D). But, aside from that I didn't like the acting. In fact, I didn't like anyone's acting except the FL's grand mom.

Rewatch - If you're a fan of this kind of comedy - then may be. But, I'd not be rewatching this at all.
