Xu Xiao commands Lu Shan to wait at Beiliang in case Feng Nian calls for his help. On their journey, they encounter one of the elemental Red Guardians, whose strength comes from water. The mysterious old man, Li Chun Gang, easily defeats the Red Guardian, shocking Feng Nian and his companions. Another Red Guardian attacks the Feng Camp, with many soldiers dying.
