O Livro da Família Gu Episode 5 Reações
His step sister, whom he has a crush on she is driving up to wall.. Girl It was your choice to get married you could have said Ma & Dad I love Kang CHI.. If you let us we would like to get married you did not. You decided to marry someone else and why go and cry and make Kang Chi more miserable,,,
If you wanna kill yourself do it or else stop complaining...
Something confuses me Dam Yeo Wool's body guard calls her Lady or when Kang Chi is around as she. so why does he keeps calling her as him.. Does he thinks that ( still) she is a boy? I mean yes she does not have a feminine or the best way to describe is girly look with her flat chest in the drama....
So maybe it's the subtitles on dramafever is a mistake or I do not know.
Yeo Wool's bodyguard, hello man, even in this century it is not welcome for a bodyguard or any other men to see a woman half naked when she's changing up, so why you looking at her when she's half naked
Now everyone saw how his eye colours have changed.. God what's awaiting us..
His dad adoptive dad saw him as his own son, that was so nice but not the mother. It was upsetting

I love Kang Chi! He's kind of like a live, hotter Korean version of Aladdin! He's so cheeky, and awesome, and unflinchingly loyal to his adoptive family.
Speaking of which! The girl who's going to get married! Sheeee irritates me! You made your choice! You KNOW Kang Chi won't betray your family, so why are you making him miserable with your tears? Stop crying about turning into dust, and just do it, instead of selfishly complaining about something neither of you are willing to go against! Aigoo!
One thing confuses me, though... and this could be an English subtitle mistake... but does Kang Chi really think Suzy is a boy?? I know the lady at the beginning mistook her for one, and my subs say Kang Chi calls her "young master" and refers to her as "he" but I really didn't think she looked enough like a boy to be mistaken for one!! So yeah. I want to know if he's really that confused. :P
Also! Suzy's companion! He annoys me! I know I'm already being overly protective of her and Seung Ki's relationship in the drama, but stop staring at Suzy when she's half-dressed, ppabo! Maybe I have a grudge against him because he was so frustrating in "Lie to Me," the only other drama I've seen him in. But seriously! Get away!! Your voice isn't even sexy deep like my gumiho love!
The end!! Omo!! I feel like I should have seen that coming, but I didn't! I kept expecting Kang Chi to lose his bracelet somehow, and then... WHY ARE ALL THE COOL GUYS DYING!?!? But seriously, that end was epic.
I just have one more thing to say...
BRING. BACK. MY. SEXY. GUMIHO. http://blogmedia.dramafever.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Choi-Jin-Hyuk-2.jpg

I hope Kang Chi stays a gumiho - I mean who wouldn't want to be an all powerful mythical being with that look and never aging?! Come on!
Suzy though, as expected is a little wooden and kinda spoiling it a little for me, the acting is mediocre and the fighting is bad...its too stiff hopefully she'll improve as the series go on!

I am so sad that Lord Park died, he was such a great person and he always considered Kang Chi as his own son even at his death moments, he was worried about him.
That Jo person is very evil! He wants Chung Jo to become like Seo Hwa, and now that Lord Park is dead after being framed for treason, he will do everything he can to possess her. Plus: he saw Kang Chi's eyes so he will question his humanity.
All in all, troubles are coming,...

1/ Ninja Fight Scene:
here is what I was thinking then
"That is so cool! I wonder how they are going to win against all those ninjas ! And...wait, how come this one didn't hear the guard enter the room, isn't he supposed to be a ninja ? Oh, well, this must be because this soldier is pretty badass."
2/ The Flashback Scene :
Those two kids are so cute together ! Now I understand why Dam Yeo Ul thought of it as a meaningful memory. Too bad he seems to have forgotten her.
3/ Gon Yi:
I really love that character! He is really different from all the guards we usually see in dramas, and also from most good-guy characters. You can really see that he cares about her, and that he dislikes being ignored, and the way he always fight with Kang Chi is so funny ! I really hope that they'll become close friends. If this continue, I'm going to end up with a severe second lead syndrome...
Also, in the scene when the two of them fight in from of Dam Yeo Ul, did you hear LSG's adorable high-pitched laugh ? I keep playing it over and over again !
4/ The hug.
I hate it. I hate it because she is exactly like Kang Chi's mother. So if history is supposed to repeat itself, then it means that he will always be in love with her. The only thing is that I think Dam Yeo Ul suits him better, and this other girl is in the way. Also, I hate that for now they seem to be the star-crossed lovers, with a meaningful and tragical destiny. I don't want Kang Chi to have any meaningful destiny with anyone except Dam Yeo Ul !
(wow, I seem pretty serious about this stuff...Don't mind me, I'm just being frustrated because I'm waiting for episode 6)
5/"11 more days..."
I really loved this scene. The two of them talking, and the monk speaking mysteriously and asking him not to go home at night (which, of course, he will still do) made this story look like a old tragedy, or a legend from some mythology book. There is always that kind of scene in legends, when a monk or an oracle tries to warn the hero about something dreadful that's going to happen...
But I'm slowly getting this "mythological air" is kind of the point of this drama. This is not just a story of a gumiho, but The Legend of THE Gumiho.
6/The ship.
I have mixed feeling about this scene. All those effects and this music, you get the impression that something great is happening, when actually you just have a righteous man who suddenly decides to invest in weapons. How is that a good thing ? I get that it's to protect the country, but the way the director makes is look, it's like he is doing something really incredible !
(Korean people, right now, in this scene, you are being manipulated. Aside from investing in weapons, there are many other things you can do to help your country. Just saying. )
7/Kang Chi's Loyalty.
I loved this scene. Everyone could see just how humble, loyal and honest Kang Chi is. I'm sure this will turn at his advantage somehow.
But, why did Yeo Ul father ask Gon Yi to keep an eye on kang Chi ? That's a mystery to me. I have some theories though :
a) he is suspecting him to be different.
b)He find him to be a possible husband for his daughter.
c) something else even the writers aren't quite sure of...
8/Last Scene and Cliffhanger.
This last scene had me shocked, and the worst thing was : I knew that Kang Chi was going to go and try to save the day, like he previously did. Only I also knew that going in the Inn at night would mean disobeying the monk, and face the dreadful things announced.
So, when he appeared, I was both glad and scared. And it happened. His father stepped between the blade and him, dying in his place. In his arms. I won't hide it, I was almost crying at that time. And LSG's acting was amazing, as always. Then, as I suspected, the change happened. The wind blowing, the monk coming the the Inn, Yeo Ul stopping her training, and suddenly, Kang Chi turns his head...and his voice ! his gumiho voice gave me the chills, as I couldn't stop looking at his bright green eyes.
This cliffhanger was great. Now I can't wait for episode 6.

I guess he's planning something BIG, perhaps with the Japanese government? Who knows?
One thing is fore sure: he's a very cunning person and a pervert above all! (Chung Jo RUN AWAY from him immediately!!!!)
I'm really sad that Park Moo-Sol was killed beacause he seemed an interesting, wise as well as a generous person. He really loved Kang Chi like his own son!
Our dear Kang Chi will probably have to face the same fate as his father: Chung Jo sold as a State Slave to serve the pervert, Tae Seo used as a threat if Chung Jo refuses to do what she's told...and Kang Chi to save her!
Or maybe not? Once again who knows?
Anyway, the action scenes weren't bad and our Gumiho has now awaked!
Ps: I'm waiting to see more of Suzy's acting! I'm sure she can do well!

The ending was sad though :'( Poor Park Moo-Sol really cared about Choi Kang Chi has his real son. OMG and Kang Chi's eyes at the end!! What's going to happen next? Can't wait.
