Freaking Masterpiece!!

I finally caved in & watched it.
WOW! And that is short for Wow Oh Wow!!
This drama is absolutely beautiful. Everything about it is just perfection. The acting, the directing, the cinematography. I usually write reviews only for shows that I consider the cream of the crop & this my dear fellows is one of those. I watched it in one sitting.
One can tell that a lot of thought & work went into the show & it paid off well! Let me tell you I have watched my fair share of BL shows (well, maybe so much more than my fair share) & this one is different from the rest & it's a good kind of 'different'
The show does not rely on the typical tropes that we so often see on BLs. Just amazing storyline, beautiful characters & top notch acting. The love between Teh & Oh was so wonderfully portrayed, beautiful pure unadulterated love! It was one hell of a rollercoaster ride - heartbreakingly beautiful.
The acting is so unbelievably awesome! The crying scenes are so realistic (snots & all) & they are some of my favourite scenes in the show. And I've found a new weakness & that is Oh's crying face. I can't.. Everytime I see that face, I just wanna give him the biggest hug ever. These dudes can act!! They deserve awards for those portrayals man, seriously!!
Every character is so beautifully written, casted & portrayed.
It will be difficult to find another series with such great storyline, amazing chemistry, beautiful cinematography & out of the world acting. Usually you get one or the other with BLs but this one has it all. Maybe we might get to see the same level of perfection with its season 2. I can't wait to see how that plays out. Excited to see Oh & Teh's relationship in the 'boyfriends' stage. They have been through hell to get there & to see them bask in that stage would be so wonderfully exciting.
I cannot wait to see season 2 now!

I AM SKY HIGH

I watched alot of movies including bls last year 2020, and alot of them where amazing and some were not so... amazing. However, this took amazing to a whole new level. Fresh, clean, well scripted and acted.
The intro to the movie, which alot of movies lack, was well thought out and just enough to keep the viewers anticipating more. In fact, the movie does not give room for predictions until the latter part of the movie...which you most likely will predict wrong like i did. I am sure nobody is new to movies with crappy editing.... where you see a scene lasting more than 1 3rd of the whole movie(lol) or a scene coming in at the wrong time. However, this story's continuity was so well done that it felt like i was been delivered a reality show. It also wasn't a vague movie as it dealt with real life issues especially among teenagers.
Visuals and Design, cinematography and location were all perfectly and professionally executed. For me , the best part of this movie was the directing and the acting... i guess we can say the director and the actors were a perfect match. Thumbs up

CUTE

I love it so very much!
Honestly I'm not the type to watch BL at all, but I am so grateful I was forced to watch this masterpiece.
The chemistry between them was incredibly adorable, and the cinematography was beautiful. The acting was fine, nothing special...but is didn't have to be it was raw and pure.
The only reason I can't give this show a 10 is the crying. There was so much crying in the last 2 episode to the point that I couldn't focus on anything else. (Like stop crying already geez)
In conclusion, I really love this show and I want to watch it for the first time again.
P.S The bra scene broke my heart.

AN OVERALL PACKAGE WITH FLYING COLORS!

This series is indeed an overall package. It talks about different personal dilemma especially in part Teh when he gave up his dream for Oh-aew , and when Oh-aew was so confuse about his feelings (just like Teh). Their acting was done with flying colors, and the whole production really shows their dedication and passion in drama which I feel in the entire series. It really touches my heart and feelings up until now to the point that I can't wait for the sequel. This kind of masterpiece deserves an international attention and I hope Nadao Bangkok will expand their presence outside Thailand (here in The Philippines please) since its inconvenient to find where to watch for an international fan/ viewer like me.

AN ART , A MASTERPIECE, PERFECTION AT IT'S FINEST!

This is my first time writing a review on a website, I created a Mydramalist account just so I can write this review 😁.

I only have one word for this drama and that is a MASTERPIECE!

I always thought HaiLuoYin ( Addicted Heroin) and SingKrist ( Sotus) will always be my favourite BL couples but BillkinKrit had me rethinking my life decisions 🤣.

What can I say, this drama is mind-blowing, the acting skills, cinematography, editing, directing, literally everything about this drama is perfect! , Each and every episode left me in awe , I was eager to see more , eager to have more . Only God knows how happy I was when I discovered that a part 2 will be out next year.

My favorite character is actually Teh, I loved the way he brought his character to life, his expressions, the way he paces up and down whenever he was conflicted, the way he fought with himself to accept his sexuality, the way he cries , literally everything about him made him my favorite character. Let's not forget about Oh -Aew, I felt like he was the one taking the initiative in their relationship and God was I heartbroken during that bra scene, I felt his pain.

Honestly whoever fails to watch this drama is missing a work of art, I have recommended this to literally all my friends , I love it to death , I enjoyed every aspect of it, I hope you will enjoy it too.

So what are you waiting for , go now and watch I Told Sunset About You and be wowed by P'Boss amazing skills , this drama has surely raised the bar for all Bl drama up high, I am seriously doubting whether I should continue TharnType Season 2 🤣.

Looking forward to seeing new projects from BillKin and Krit 🌈.

BEST BL EVER!

This series sets the high standard for BL these days. For years, there's no BL that attached so deeply in my heart, but this series even makes me cry everytime I heard "I Told Sunset About You" or heard about "BKPP", and FYI it's been a year but I still can't move on from this series or its soundtracks. This series makes every week become a rollercoaster, I never being so scared watching the next ep of a series until I watched this series. I can't even think of any series that're good enough to be rivaled with I Told Sunset About You. Everything about this series are BEYOND PERFECTION, that's why I give a 10! (I want to give a 100, tho). When I said EVERYTHING, I really mean EVERYTHING.

MASTERPIECE

It's my first time writing a review about a drama on mydramalist , but I just couldn't help it .
I remember staying awake all night just to finish this drama, and I didn't feel time passing!!
Everything about it is perfect , the plot , the acting, the lead actors ,the supportive actors , the OST, the cinematography etc ... I had all kind of emotions while watching it , I was happy , sad , afraid , angry ... I smiled a lot and cried a lot and I just couldn't handle all those feelings inside of me !
This should not be classed as a Bl drama, this title is very limited in my opinion , it refers usually to those dumb dramas with awkward stories and forced romance ,which it not the case here , It's deep and warm .
I recommend this drama at 100 % .

BEAUTIFUL!

I can rewatch this for years and still be watching like its my first time. Made me fall in love with the scenery and with phuket. all the beaches, food, sports adventure, as well as culture and landmarks. JUST BEAUTIFUL MADE ME WANT TO VISIT IT MYSELF. Its like the scenery was made for you to fall in love. Pictured so perfectly. And the storyline is soooo beautiful. Realistic, romantic and adorable.
To view, contempt, to die for...to binge. The definition of masterpiece. Every episode itself is full of emotions and dreamy scenes.....scenes that go way beyond the screen right into the viewers hearts. It's a struggle of showing real emotions or just go with social norms. The main actors chemistry is undeniable and we thank them for this...for doing their roles (and not only) so vivid and real. The OST is absolutely lovely and everything this show has, it's a maximum. You can't ask for more.

AMAZING

One of the best shows I have ever watched! The acting by the lead roles is amazing!!!!! I have watched it twice now, I cannot get over how good their acting is. They did not even have to say much. Even their small gestures and facial expressions said a lot about what they were feeling. The music was also so well put. It really made you feel certain emotions for example happiness or sadness while watching. They put that so well! I really recommend to watch this show. I hope they get a lot of views, and will be able to continue making more seasons. I can't wait until part 2 is released. The storyline was also so good. I don't even know what to say anymore other than that this show was so greatly put together. They did an amazing job! Congrats to everyone who helped create it.

SO DIFFERENT!

I have watched many Thai dramas before, just in general. And I have watched a decent amount of Thai BL dramas as well. This show is so much different than theirs.

CINEMATOGRAPHY:
I would love to comment on the cinematography, it was literally perfect and beautiful, I specifically love the confession scene with the hammock. The blue background with the beach just seem so peaceful like the only thing that was there was them 2. No one else existed. And that is what they were kind of saying in the scene as well. "I want to be the closest to you, no one else" (not an actual quote, but similar).
PACING:
The pacing is what makes it so much different from other Thai shows I feel like. Other series kinda make it a lot more fast-paced and keep it moving. For a 5 episodes series them being 1 hour long, I did not feel rushed or pushed like I normally do. The storyline was played out really well and very distributed between the enemies to friends to lovers. You could see the transition between each of the stages and I felt like it was just perfect and done really well. It almost felt slow, but wasn't and I think in those "slow" scenes they truly utilize the silence and the eyes and stares it was perfect.
STORYLINE & ACTING:
What also made it different is that it's a lot more light, And I think for the storyline the way the cinematography and the pacing were done just match the storyline. I am a sucker for like classmate love so when I found that out I just loved it. The silences and stares between Oh and Teh displayed so much tension and we, the audience, notice so much history in the beginning and created enough romance just from that. Along with that, I love the small parallels, the back-scratching to THAT SCENE ;) and the knees touching, it just represented so much I felt like. However I do agree with some of the other watchers that Teh constant crying was a bit overused I understand the pressure, heartbreak, etc. That he deals with, but still... I am sure that Teh's character is made to make us mad, which it did, constantly, the fact that he lead on Oh and Tarn was so upsetting for me, and made me make it through the day I watched it. The fact that Oh also constantly went back, I do love the fact that Oh and Bas did have a moment together where they did end up together and the fact that Bas let it happen and realized it is love in itself.
MUSIC:
GOD the music intensify my emotions so much, it made me feel everything times 100 it was literally perfect. the music use was used really well.

*thumbs up* i would recommend for a filler drama, or like a break drama tbh.
