Let me start by saying that this is my first ever drama review. I decided to write one for the first time because this drama deserved it. From the cast to the story to the cinematography(sp?), this drama deserves a 10 out of 10. I'm known to take a long time watching dramas, but this one is an exception. The first 4 episodes are pure gold. You will for sure miss the flashbacks to when they were kids. Park Yoochun impressed me, Yoon Eun Hye impressed me and Yoo Seung Ho REALLY impressed me. The kid actors where almost as good as the adults. For once, I do not dislike the girl lead actress. The ost's made me cry even more. They captured the essence of this masterpiece of a drama. A MUST WATCH for all melodrama fans out there.

This drama absoluetly belongs to my favorite ones!
At first I have to say that I like every actor in this drama.
Yoon Eun Hye and Yoo Seung Ho are one of my favorite actors, that's why I think I already loved it. But also Yoochun is doing a great work here.
The story is really dramatic and sad, it made me cry a lot. THIS IS A DRAMA.
You get everything you want, two boys who falls in love with one girl. Every boy has his own past with this girl which sticks them together as well. The girl stands between two boys and it's really difficult for her to decide who she really loves, which has also sth to do with her past.

It makes me cry so hard to see how every boy is fighting for this love in his own way and every boy has his own wounds. Some wounds which never can be healed.

The ending is really sad and nice. I was so sad on the one hand, but on the other hand I was so happy. I think you couldn't make the end better.

Guys, you have to watch this drama, otherwise you will regret it !

The story starts off to be very cute and the story gets more and more intense. The actors portray the characters very well. Revealing the terror, rage, and fear inside all characters. A lot of heartaches, and big after drama effect. Casts is definitely amazing with Yoon Hye, Yun Chun, and Seung Ho. This was a big step for Seung Ho to act as an adult, but he did very very well. I would rewatch if my heart allows it, but I am afraid my heartaches too much after. Too tragic.

This drama is...
a very hard drama to review.
"I Miss You" is kind of a conundrum. You won't like all of it, and if you do... well, there's something wrong here.
I think that's what the writer was going for here. They give you a story, but it's not sugar-coated. It's real, intense, and- most of all- unapologetic. You won't like all the characters all the time, but you understand them and come to accept them.
Story: The story was painful, yes. But there was more to it than just being a tear-jerker. There was an overall hopeful vibe to it, and while the events that occurred weren't realistic, the aftermath was.
While I'm writing this, I'm going to throw out that I had second-lead syndrome for most of this drama. Despite the fact that Harry was evil, I still found myself identifying with him and caring for him more than any other character. Jung Woo was a great first-lead, perfect for Seo Yeon in every way, but I still (somehow) liked Harry better. (Don't ask me why, because I have no idea at all.) The first 4.5 episodes were from when the main characters were children, and for some reason there seemed like a huge disconnect between the two parts of the story. The beginning was more... raw, I suppose. I felt everything at a much more personal level than by the time the next part came in. I guess it's because by the time the adult years came in, you just became so desensitized to the pain of the beginning that everything else didn't hit you the same way. Also, in the adult years, you don't feel as emotionally connected to the characters as you did in the beginning.
When I watched the 20th episode, I was going to give this drama an 8 overall. The show was good at times, a little slow, and somewhat boring- but still good. I assumed that since the extension was given with so little notice that it would just be a filler episode, but I was proven wrong.
Since I don't want to spoil anything, I'll just say this: It was worth it. The ending fit the story's tone perfectly, bumping my overall rating up from an 8 to a 8.5.
This show isn't a light watch, but it's sprinkled with it's moments. I'd recommend watching something lighter afterwards- unless doom and gloom is your thing.

HHmmmmmmmm well here it goes

Jut finished watching the last episode like now, and i have to say i was dissapointed with the end. no point me giving you the story line becuse you want my opinion so read on.

I was waiting for this drama with excitement juts like everyone else, ep between 1-18 juts keep you on your feet every week i had to wait with tension of what would happen to the characters. this drama had wit, charisma, laughter, pain and a lot more.

However.....

ep between 19-21 it felt like the writer did not know what to do with the story, they confused the hell out of me to be honest, it was like Fashion King where the ending did not make sense at all. It wasn't your typical K-Drama ending. But i enjoyed watching it to say the least. Oh and at the end the acting was like just awakard and painful to watch :(

This drama was truly fantastic. Casting featured some of the greatest actors. The first couple episodes featuring Kim So Hyun and Yeo Jin Goo were the greatest tear jerkers ever. I don't normally cry watching dramas, but this one had me on the verge of tears.

As for the overall story, it was lacking at times, and by lacking I mean it had too much. Too much melodrama. Later in the series, I felt like they were crying every scene, and there was very little comic relief to break up the melodrama. Every incident resulted in a crying scene. However, the cliffhangers really make you come back. Despite this, there weren't many symbols or deeper meanings to the story, disregarding the theme of course.

Music was decent. The soundtrack contained some good ballads, but nothing flashy.

Missing you is a beautiful melodrama with an outstanding story!
The whole story is just beautiful and heartwarming.
I think it's the first Korean drama where I actually like the first childhood episodes more than the late episodes.
AH-MAZING child actors !! especially Yeo Jin Goo there were so many scenes where he literally wowed me. His acting was so good that I found my self repeating many scenes. Yoo SeungHo, on the other hand, was MAD good. I was actually surprised to see him in that kind of role and he did good. His scenes in the last two episodes were breath-taking

I started watching this drama around 2 years ago. I was never at a place to where I could finish it. It took me about 2 years to watch episode 1-8. However, I was at a place where I was needing this drama and I was able to binge watch it in a few days time.

First off, the child actors (familiar faces we see throughout most dramas during this time period) is absolutely SUPURB. They portray realistic acting during a really serious and sad time in their childhood lives. The story starts out very dark and emotional, so if you are not able to watch those kinds of scenes, then I suggest you skip this drama because you need to watch them in order to continue the rest of the drama and be able to keep up.

I do suggest not waiting as long as I did to get through the episodes because it took a while for my mind to refresh the story in order to understand the later episodes.

The story is fresh, heart-wrenching, and emotionally draining. However, it is in typical Melo fashion and I LOVE melos. If you dont like them, or are iffy, dont watch this one. It is VERY melo and it isnt suitable for all audiences.

Cast is excellent. I didnt care for the two main adult leads in the beginning, but after a while they grew on me and it all comes together. They are great actors and fit their parts very, very well. They also did a great job on the child actors. They are believably the same person as they grow up. That doesnt happen as much as it should in a lot of dramas. I am sure its hard to find.

The OST is great. It really fits. I give it a because if I hear it on my Spotify (web based radio), I turn it up in the car (and look all crazy).

I give the rewatch value a 2. I dont rewatch dramas, period. Not even my favorite ones, or the ones that are light. I just cant. Never have and I probably never will unless there is a drama shortage and I have to watch the same ones over and over again. However, for those that do rewatch dramas, I dont suggest it. Unless the emotions you felt make you want to see it and you cant get those from another drama. Otherwise, I would just watch this one once, savor their moments and move on. It isnt a light drama therefore rewatching it might cheapen and and I wouldnt suggest that!

Overall, I give this drama a 10. I gave it a 7.5 for 2 years because it never really clicked with me and It was hard for my to get into. I contemplated dropping it for a long time. However, the mood was just right and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I highly suggest this drama to those who need a good, emotional piece that will keep you hooked for many reasons. I know the reason I wasnt hooked - I just wasnt in the mood for this. But, when you get in the mood - it will suck you in and keep you there until you cant be kept any longer! It is original, emotional, sad, agonizing and yet you cant look away when youre hooked.

I hope this helped! Enjoy Missing You, I Miss You!

From the first episode I was hooked! all throughout the series I was in my toes, because it was really good and each episode made the past clearer, although I may say it was quiet a sad story but the ending was very good and wrapped up nicely. great acting, and the music was good too. I would definitely watch it again, I liked how the ending was not like city hunter, or like fashion king were, the ending wasn't as good since both had characters with hard lives.

I'm glad I made time to watch this drama! I thought of just skipping right past it at first, but something about the story and the picture made me think twice.

I fell for the young Han Jung Woo at first. I loved his smile, his voice and his laughter. Everything about him seemed perfect and I felt that I had to meet him in real. Something changed when I saw Micky Yoochun as the older Han Jung Woo. His smile made me smile and his voice was just sooooo amazing! *Fan-Girling* I hated Yoo Seung Ho's character though. I felt like slapping him..or forcing him to drink the same poisonous wine he gave to his victims. URGH!

I got hooked onto this drama right from the first episode. I have got to say that I didn't know what a melodrama was before I watched this. I hope they make a sequel to this containing the same characters; I reckon it will be another big hit.

I was tearing up so bad throughout this drama, I couldn't stop myself. The way the plot twists in the middle left me speechless. I have to thank whoever made this drama, because it takes alot of time and effort to create a masterpiece like this! :D :D

Micky Yoochun! I love you!!!

Missing you is a brilliantly thought out story. This drama had it all, from crime to romance to comedy! I really enjoyed the first four episodes. I guess from episode 5 I started to lose interest until the very end episode! But I still finished watching it to the end!

I guess the greatest motivation for me completing the drama was simply the eye candy who goes by the name of Yoo Seung Ho. The fact that I was able to see him really made me see the drama trough.

Personally the story development is tooo slow. what could be shown and explained in one episode tends to be shown over two whole episodes. But overall I think the quality of the drama was outstanding.

Although the story progression is slow, the cast was brilliant. The progression of the characters really came through. I did enjoy the drama, don't get me wrong, but I guess the storyline was just too slow and kind of dragged a little.

Overall I would only watch this again if I was forced to. Voluntarily I would only watch the first 4 episodes!!

OK well this surly did not end how my sister would have liked, but I am happy! I thought that every1 got exactly what they deserved in the end.

I rly enjoyed watching this even though I personally thought there was just way to much crying. BUT considering all the trauma the main characters went through I guess I can understand. There was a lot to cry about. I thought the characters were rly well developed & that they pulled u into the drama. I was given many emotions & I thought that the actors were able to convey realistic emotions for each circumstance that the characters had to face.

Watching this drama reaffirmed my thoughts on how important it is to teach our children how to love others. The list of psychological disorders displayed in this drama were awesome. It was like getting to watch a case study unfold. B/c behavioral psychology is my thing, I enjoyed the references to "nurture" being the cause of the issues dealt with in this drama. I swear the writers of these types of drama's have to study psychology to be able to get all these situations down to an art.

I suggest that you watch this drama for several reasons: 1. eye-candy (rly hot guys...JS!) 2. emotional pull 3. realistic acting & 4. great ending. It has an Equator Man feel to it, b/c of all the psychological trauma, but it has a more realistic feel to the confrontations. I don't think that any1 will be disappointed. Enjoy!
