Perfection
This drama is brilliant. Each detail is thoroughly thought.Even each tone and move of each actor during the opening song is perfectly matched
to the situation and way of being of the persons in the drama. This is why they put the actors
to "play" the song.
The drama is a great piece of art: starting from the excellent acting, going through
sophisticated camera work, a careful choice of wording and the amazing construction of the story.
Each every (short!) episode is build from a few very precise even shorter sequences
that some times are continued in other episodes such that a web of
different stories hangs together, giving a myriad of different images, different feelings,
different impressions on each of the persons. This construction and the way it is told to us
both together confer a veritable taste of real life.
The theme and the language are very unusual for a Japanese drama.
I watched many Japanese dramas mainly for listening to the language;
this one gave a new dimension to my Japanese knowledge. Sometimes
I wish to see the Japanese subtitles of it...

Adults in denial
The original title in english means, from the subs by HPriest, I Will Be Serious in My Next Life!Since there are two more seasons, there is no conclusion, in the end everyone is in the same place they started!
There are five adults in their late 20s, working in the office and going through life not actually knowing what they want. Two of them a sluts, a man & a woman, (at least that's how they call themselves), having numerous sex friends but very attracted to each other! One is a virgin and another one is a second virgin having an affair with a transvestite. And the last one is seeing a prostitute on a regular basis. They are all under pressure from their parents to get married and have kids which they all want to avoid doing. Their story is told by a deadpan narrator: it fits perfectly with the events!
While on the surface this is a story of people who take responsibility for the choices they make, deep down they are all looking for something lasting but they do not want to admit it out loud. Especially the two sluts who are profoundly unhappy with their lives, sad and unsatisfied but they have taken a road off of which they do not know how to get so they keep doing the same thing over and over hoping it will be different the next time. It never is, unfortunately! So they slap a smile on and continue! In denial! So, even though they present this as a comedy, and even though it is funny at times, it really is a rather sad story of lonely and unhappy people!
The actors are all really good, fitting perfectly into their roles: the opening credits band gives a right description of them all! The actor playing the transvestite is just beautiful!
Cinematography goes well with the story told in gray, cold and muted tones. Music was unremarkable!

This drama is so amusing and it needs more attention! The comedy in this drama is so hilarious i can´t help but to laugh at every episode. The stories are interesting too and we can see all kinds of love from all kinds of angles.
It isn´t complete yet however i am going to keep on watching with great expectations.
I think the story will develope well and i am for sure going to rewatch it in future !

Le "vrai" sexe sans tabou !
Ça parle de sexe de manières décomplexées sans être too much à mon sens, certes il y a des situations où tu te dis really this guy is into that? Mais ça fait juste rire sans dénaturer le propos ! D'ailleurs un des points forts c'est que le drama ne cible pas que la vie sexuelle des heteros même si ça reste la plus représentée, on a un personnage a priori Ace, un personnage bi,... Et aussi ça ose montrer le vibro dans l'appart de l'héroïne (sans être utilisé juste il est là comme un objet random), l'utilisation de mouchoir pour s'essuyer après etc breeef ! On suit leur routine à travers de petites scènes dû notamment au formatdu manga d'origine (gag en 4 cases) et ça fonctionne terriblement bien ! Par moment j'avais l'impression de retrouver un format un peu d'anime comique (durée episode, narrateur, opening et ending bien distinct).En somme, voilà les raisons pour lesquelles j'ai flashé sur ce drama d'abord pour le sujet, la forme et au final les personnages qui sont terriblement attachants sans pour autant avoir une évolution de dingue mais en même temps est-ce que c'était nécessaire ? Pas vraiment à mon sens, je vois ce drama comme des fenêtres de la vie de cette entreprise, d'une routine et rien de plus puis si les personnages avaient dû évoluer et changer qui ils étaient ça aurait dénaturer le propos qu'est simple Enjoy your life with (or without) sex ❤️
