A chill series
While it has rather an average story it still stands firm because it's overall fluid & well paced - nothing too much out of ordinary happens that would make you facepalm and question the writing. If you're in it just for an idealized romantic comedy and don't expect more, it's worth watching.::Characters::
It misses depth as the characters aren't too developed - in fact, the main protagonists at the end of the story weren't any different than at the start. They are somewhat one-dimensional and while they are rather walking stereotypes I didn't find it too overdone. The main protagonists have fun chemistry and it's very comic at time, in a good way.
::Theme, direction & plot::
The entire story basically revolves around the premise introduced to us in the first episode. It's light-hearted, funny but still keeps you worried about the new patients. The pacing of the series was good all over. The plot was believable, nothing really stood out too negatively.
Overall, as long as you enjoy the characters and aren't looking for anything too deep it's quite nice to watch.

Wow, it's been ages since I've properly watched a J-drama. Slowly switching to K-dramas as time went by felt natural – just like growing up and leaving your hometown to pursue your dreams. :D Then one day I stumbled upon a youtube vid featuring the main leads of this drama – that's when I knew I MUST give it a chance. And – wow, it actually exceeded my expectations. The whole story made me feel nostalgic, returning home after a long adventure. Everything is so familiar, yet freshly polished. The characters are endearing and their interactions are always very pleasant to watch (well, maybe except for the second couple with Tendo's sister – that one made me cringe all the time LOL).
Although the drama is fully packed with romantic cliches, they are well balanced, and the "drama" is never dragged enough to make you force yourself to watch further. Most of the usual plot sequences ended very pleasantly and I couldn't help but smile (and replay those awesome romantic scenes OVER AND OVER) :D You shouldn't expect any heavy medical material – the guys keep it light and simple. Which definitely has its perks.
Being clumsy at first, Sakura gradually grew on her strong points – careful attention to detail and immense care for patients. I did feel a little disappointed with her insecurity and indecisiveness at moments where I expected her to persevere and fight for Tendo's heart. But other than that, thanks to her friends and straight-forward nature, she handled her love adventures pretty well. :) I'm extremely thankful that she spoke her mind to Tendo, letting him know of her struggles and worries most of the time, instead of bottling them up and sulking.
But of course my heart was STOLEN by Tendo-sensei. Satoh Takeru is so MESMERIZING in this role that it hurts to stop watching. He's a bit of a tsundere (oh those sweet "BAKA" scenes) but essentially keeps his feelings and emotions to himself for actually valid reasons. Still, he loves his job and sincerely cares for his patients. And most importantly, he never gives Sakura any unreasonable silent treatment. I just LOVE how he noticed whenever Sakura was worried about something stupid and made sure to clear up any misunderstandings by either speaking his mind clearly (that sofa scene is one of my favorites...) or showing some action (you know). ;D I think his character is just so perfectly balanced. And those rare smiles he gives... *dies* The only thing that might not sit well with you is how he actually fell in love with the girl, LOL. But in the end it feels pretty natural.
The main leads ended up completing each other and helping one another overcome their challenges. So I love how it turned out. :) And their chemistry is off charts, by the way!
Supporting characters are all very well cast, truly funny and you won't easily forget them. Together they create this simple but cute story that won't get you bored thanks to all the butterflies. <3 And last but not least, THE OST WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
Well, in short, I RECOMMEND this drama if you're looking for an extremely sweet, light and cute love story (Satoh Takeru is a huge bonus of course). Binge-watching this drama was my best decision in weeks! I hope you make yours too. :D Ittadakimasu!
P.S. I also suddenly realized how much love the small messages this drama conveys: that we should accept the fact that one day we will all die and live our lives freely. That we should not try to strictly divide our lives into "love" and "work", but rather "enjoy the everyday chaos". :) And of course, it reminds us that each one of us struggles through life in different ways, but we should not give up – instead, we must fight for our dreams and stay positive whatever happens!
Good luck to you all!

A feel good drama
Ok so I have watched dozens of dramas from China and Korea. This is my first Japanese one. This is also the first review I have ever written. It may not be my favorite drama but it is now probably on my top 5. This show made me want to take a look at other Japanese dramas. Some people may think that the FL was too childish but I don’t think so. Her bubbly personality was what made people like her and what broke through the ML’s stone heart. As a nurse myself, I was really impressed by the accuracy when it came down to the nursing part and the medical terminology (something you don’t see in American shows). Even though she loved the ML at first sight (starting off as a childish infatuation), the timing on the romance was neither too fast or too slow. It was perfect. Even though I wanted it to go on an on, I’m glad of the simple 10 episodes. Maybe it’s because it didn’t have this long side plot and villains, which would have caused a major distraction. Do yourself a favor and watch this show.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

This is the definition of fluff.
I… loved this so much?I didn’t know anything about this drama beside its basic plot and the score it has on MDL (which is pretty good). I picked it up in the end because of Sato Takeru if I’m being honest, since I liked all of his movies that I have seen so far.
The plot is really simple, works with a lot of clichés that typically appear in romantic comedies that revolve around unrequited love. However, it felt fresh and a bit of a different take from the usual (or maybe it’s been just too long since I last saw something similar). I also liked the way they didn’t stretch out the story, everything evolved in a reasonable pace, these 10 episodes were the perfect amount to present us with the complete tale. The thing I probably like the most is that there was just enough drama and hardship to make things a little more intricate, but they didn’t go overboard, and we got a lot of lovey-dovey moments too that melted my heart multiple times. This is what I really want from a drama like this!
I already mentioned that I like Sato Takeru, tho now I’m going to admit, this wasn’t my favourite work of his, but I guess he had to exaggerate certain things to deliver his character as wanted. Kamishiraishi Mone was the perfect choice for the main character’s role, her smile is so contagious that I found myself grinning sometimes only by looking at her. Side note: I really liked all of the side characters too which is not often the case and their own storylines were just the perfect amount, as well, I never felt like I didn’t care about them.
The music is pretty average, but I’m well aware that dramas like this don’t tend to have the most HQ soundtracks. It was good for setting the mood and fit well enough with the genre of the drama.
I genuinely think that I might give this another go in a few years, especially in the winter or spring (don’t ask me, my drama watching mood depends a lot on the current season).
A bonus point is that I binged it in 3 days.

Kotoko & Irie Relationship V.2 (with better character developments)
If you're fan of Itazura na Kiss franchise, you should watch this drama!Story : Usual setting of bubbly, clumsy, hard working & 'set my eyes only on one guy' type of FL meets cold, domineering, perfectionist & 'never imagining that he would end up with her' type of ML. You'll get a lot of second hand embarrassment & excitement from FL's endless confessions & clumsy actions, but in the end of the day, the mainleads found their way to each other. What I absolutely love abt this drama is that the ML actually really loved FL in his own way, he showed affection more than Irie Naoki, LoL, his ice cold character was shattered when he finally had breakdown..
Short drama with perfect pacing, full of sweet and warm vibes. Love how I also anticipate every side stories of each patient. All of the side characters have their own stories to tell & they fortunately didn't overshadow the main couple. Basically a simple inspirational story of finding & fighting your dreams either romance or work.
Casts : 10/10, chef kiss approved! Takeru Sato & Mone Kamishiraishi really brought their characters perfectly..Their chemistry is top notched! Would like to see Takeru Sato in more romcom dramas, maybe with actress like Mei Nagano? hahaha
Values : Be confident with yourself, fight your dreams even if you fall, stand again. In the end of the day, every result will not betray the process.
WATCH IT GUYS, if you fond of short, simple, sweet & 'angst free' romance drama. It is certified happy & satisfying ending (tho I'd be very happy to see both Nanase & Kairi's parents to be there on their wedding day..)!!

How do I begin to say how much I loved this show? I mean, I stumbled across it when there were only like 5 episodes and it takes a week to get a new one. I waited patiently for it and never got disappointed. Tendo and Nanase were just so perfect for each other. Mone and Takeru's chemistry was off the charts amazing.
This is a short and sweet drama that would have you craving for love. You will support Nanase and cheer on for Tendo. I love how they both grew from episode one. It wasn't like Tendo pointlessly falls in love with her just because she was chasing him. He fell in love with who and what she was.
I'm a sucker for tsundere characters and Tendo just got me hook, line, and sinker for this. Nanase was cute and raw, she developed so much in the short run of this drama.
I definitely understand why this was such a hit in Japan. The story is worth your while.
P.S.: The OST is the bomb, I tell you.

It might be unrealistic but the story will buoy you up
I do find some Japanese dramas tend to be quirky and larger than life. This show is definitely quirky and not very realistic but it was just so sweet, fun and swoon worthy. It is also short so that there is no drag and the pacing is spot on.The premise of the show is simple. A young girl was smitten by a doctor after a chance meeting. She decided that she will become a nurse just so that she can pursuit him romantically. After a few years of hard work, she graduated and managed to get posted to the same hospital as a junior nurse. At first the cold and aloof doctor only see a silly young nurse who confessed to him on her first day at a new job. Over time, he saw her better side and fell in love. Oh boy, when he fell in love, he was a smouldering hot mess!
Yes, the story is tropey and there were more than a decent serving of clichés but the story was so uplifting, warm-hearted and the emotions were so pure and strong that you just have to hang on for the ride. The acting was good from everyone and you can't help but fell in love with the feisty FL. Speaking of the FL, instead of just being a bumbling damsel, she actually grew and became an excellent nurse and admired by everyone. The ML, on the other hand, changed from a cold and prefectist doctor to be a sweet and hot blooded lover. His confession scene when the FL was injured was so touching and heartfelt. Swoon!
Some will find it too sweet but give it a go before judging it. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a good rom-com.

Must watch
This drama is the one of my favourites! Japanese drama's can be different (for me - but it doesn't stop me from watching them!) as I find they tend to leave a lot out.. so your always having to fill in the blanks. I didn't find that with this one. This was a nice mature drama with no screaming girl - it's a nice story about a 'devil' Dr with little to no emotions who catches the eye of a young nurse who has fallen head over heels in love with him and has to break through his rough exterior.
The story flowed nice, had super fantastic acting in it - even the second lead stories were spot on.

ITS A YES FOR ME, WATCH IT!
Ok now, this one's cute. Yes, you may say that "hmm that's weird, how could she dedicate her five years to a guy she just met once." I understand your POV, it may not be possible for you - lol, not even for me- BUT FOR OUR FL, IT IS. Her devotion for sensei is no joke, imagine planning out your whole career because of a single encounter?? LMAO, but still it was cute! One of the best jdramas to be honest! No petty fights, ML and FL are matured - and its all just SOOO FLUFFY AAAAH- Indeed, you wont regret watching this 10 episode drama! The only thing I lowkey got annoyed with, or maybe cringed at, is FL's smile. YALL, I THINK SHES EATING A HANGER OR SOMETHING! WILDDD HOW HER SMILE COULD STRETCH THAT BIG??? But aside from that, I love it!
Be ready for some secondhand embarrassment though- our FL aint called warrior-chick for no reason!
NOW GO WATCH IT! ITS NOT A WASTE OF TIME, TAKE IT FROM ME WHO USUALLY DROPS DRAMAS IN THE FIRST FEW EPISODES! HEHE have fun!
