Mi arrives at Xi Song’s place, and they settle in by sitting down and reading. They end up getting into a discussion about love and relationship where Xi Song admits that if his partner interred in his career he would break up. This saddens Mi Do since she believes if you truly love someone then you should do everything to make it work. She gets even more disheartened when she through the week she tries to invite Xi Song t o her birthday party but he says he is busy that day and she believes it is an excuse to not go. However, she doesn’t let this get her down, and she learns that he actually has an award ceremony to go to, and he wishes her a Happy birthday when he discovers that is why she wanted him to come. She enjoys her special day with her parents and friends, but Yi You feels a little left out when everyone seems to be paying attention to the award ceremony where Xi Song wins an award( especially since Mi Do rejected his ring that was his gift to her.)
