I Do, I Do (2012)

A cute story that would have been a great one if it didn't toy viewers with its absurdities

I might be in the minority here but I found the show to be a bit manipulative in the way it presented the romantic element to the viewers. Whilst the first part of the show was quite funny, and I liked the dynamic between the two leads, and also their individual natures, I did feel like I was being toyed when the reveal occurred so late in the drama and in between that reveal were plot points that I did not care for.

I also found it hard to believe that while the female lead was quite strong and opinionated, and admirable at that, that she had an unwavering change of personality which contrasted with how she met the younger male lead, and even the interactions before they got drunk, which led to her getting pregnant. To me, it just felt like they had some connection and it was unreal that she suddenly changed and become so much more difficult of a person compared to her original appearance at the start of the drama.

I think I would have enjoyed this much more if there had been some genuine changes in the female lead's personality, and that isn't to say that she should be someone she wasn't, but it was not believeable at all that she would even be together with the male lead. And I think that is my main issue with this drama. It was not believeable at all that they would even choose to be together and it did not make sense as there were no real shifts in their personality and everything that occurred to make such a conclusion felt contrived and planned. I also did not enjoy that while the male lead was a bit dumb, that he was made to be so dumb as not to have reasonable conclusions about the events in the drama - again, this goes to the unbelievableness of how the two leads even chose to be together.

This was one of my first k drama and its my first review. So, all these triangle, pregnancy, doing well in job stuffs felt new and refreshing to me. Normally I guess it would be an average drama for most people.

I liked it cause it didn't had too much plot hole, melo drama,  breakup type average kdrama stuffs.  The only thing I found bad was the 2nd female lead. She was useless from to start to end with her weird plot hole type story. The story would have missed nothing if she was not in the drama tbh.

As for rewatch, not worth watching everything but it had some good moments for sure. Worth checking out those moments once in a while I guess.

O que posso dizer sobre este incrível dorama? O enredo gira em torno de uma gravidez e como isso pode afeta a vida de uma mulher, ainda mais quando ela é solteira, visto que isso na sociedade coreano e um absurdo, pois o pai ainda é uma criança sem pretensão futura alguma, então ela esconde esse fato dele, ainda mais por te se tratando de um rolo de uma noite. Os pontos de vista sobre paternidade são uns dos destaques da drama. O amadurecimento do Tae (pai da criança) e o relacionamento que com o tempo crescer entre eles é algo sensacional, o romance, apesar de mais maduro, tem vários momentos fofos e engraçados, a comédia e os momentos sad desde Dorama são sensacionais, serve pra vc refletir sobre a vida.

E um dorama q trata sobre o amadurecimento e aceitação, recomendo bastante!

really this drama didn't take it's place or the real high rate which it deserved
it's lovely nona romance
although they didn't clear that or stop at this point much but she was older than him 10 yrs
but they act as if they were the same age even the parents & that was really lovely & cute

very cute rom.com drama the love in it is slowly & logical not in rush as most of the dramas did,
& the woman lead is strong character as i love
the plot is very good
it's talking about one night relation & it's consequences , pure love, character development, maternity VS ambition, parental love, chasing your dreams & learning responsibility
i didn't pay much attention to the music so i guess it wasn't distinguish or remarkable for me but at the same time it wasn't bad

Highly recommended for those who love rom.com

i do really was so sad cause of the doctor & for Im Soo Hyang sooo
i was hoping till the end that they could find another partner not to love but at least to start with
why should the writer made me love both male & female leads WHY :'(

& the Chairwoman of Board of Directors was a REAL BIT** till the end
I was so happy for what (Im Soo Hyang) did to her ^_^ she deserved more than that

i don't know y most of the people said that they didn't get the end
it was really clear
while she was drugged she was thinking about her worries , future , her child & how she is going to be
& about her career
but she decided to wait & stop worrying to see what future 'll bring to her with all the persons she love
although it was a rush end for me especially the last 04 min. which i didn't like the most cause there were many things that i want to be clear for me
like her future with lee jang ?
the store they opened?
& many other things
cause writer showed us suddenly that she dreamt of what she is going to do with her future
she chose her baby & lee jang she married him & they raised the girl together & she began a new road with them full of shoes designing as she always dreamt of
it was some how kind of figure of speech
but it bothered me so >_< that's y i deduct a point

i just watch the first 2 episode n i love it so far. the acting pretty good, and i love the actor n actress since i have seen them act in other drama before.
i especially love the actress who is playing the antagonist role bc she was from the new tale of gisaeng drama n i wonder how she will continue acting playing the antagonist, since in her previous drama she play the role of the innocent and loveable main character, i just cant wait for more episode to come out.
n i also love the 2nd male leading guy, i love his role very funny n i can tell tat he is gonna make us viewer love him.
the male lead, i an tell he is going to be the cute clueless guy u love and he is that guy u will love for he is clueless but loveable.
the female lead i can tell tat we will love and cry for her and feel a lot for her since she is a really good actress that portray very good feeling making viewers have many feelings when watching her
