Drama Has It All
If you like an annoying FL, a handsome ML who loves her anyway; a King that believes a less than upright, not to be trusted person's accusations about the loyal, never dishonest, honorable ML (and not once or twice); a King that makes instant judgments of right or wrong and is willing to behead families; a OTP that never believes in each other and never communicates; a passionless relationship, stupid decisions after stupid decision; revenge based on assumptions; most characters deceiving others for greed; way too many lies and conspiracies, and lightning curing poison ....well this drama is for you! Zhang Zhe Han couldn't even save it.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Consiglio? NI, c'è molto altro da vedere.

Mixed feelings
I have mixed feelings about this drama. On one hand, the political intrigue was very interesting and the action scenes were fun. The chemistry between the couples was very good leading to nicely put together love stories. On the other hand, some characters had very bad motivations leading to very questionable choices.Prince An was an awful villain. He concocted an entire revenge plot to kill multiple people because of a years old incident where a child accidently knocked over a candle. He had no substance, bats*t crazy motivations, and extreme shortsightedness. His love for Fu Rong seemed very superficial. All he did was plot, manipulate, and lie to her.
ML and FL were cute together and had good chemistry, but FL made some very awful choices. Her relationship with ML had very little trust. Whether it was the murder of her teacher, divorce, or Ruyi pavilion, she never gave ML the benefit of the doubt or allowed herself time to verify the information given to her. Instead, she gave in to rumors and manipulations and jumped to conclusions. For someone who made a big deal about trust, she never trusted the person she supposedly loved. Moreover, the fact that FL stabbed ML on their wedding night should've been the end of their relationship because that was a huge breach of trust. But, that was not the case here.
Even though the second couple also had great chemistry, they became boring because their relationship stopped at flirting and did not move further until almost the end of the show. They were obviously in love, but neither of them made any steps to move forward for a very long time. I ended up skipping most of their scenes after episode 20.
One of my biggest gripes with the drama was young women running around with men they were not married to. This was supposed to be a huge taboo where reputations were ruined. Not the case here. Nobody ever addressed the fact that ML and FL spent the night alone in a cave, that the second couple spent the night alone in a cabin, that Fu Rong was often alone together with Prince An, and so on. This nonsense led to more ridiculous behavior by Fu Rong. She constantly snuck out for one reason or another and was found by ML usually in the company of his love rival Prince An. For someone who was supposed to be intelligent, Fu Rong didn't have enough sense to realize that Prince An had feelings for her and that it wasn't the best idea for a married woman to fraternize with a man who had feelings for her and who wasn't her husband. At that point, it was hard to see what Prince Su, or even Prince An, saw in her. She was reckless and childish, and had no common sense.
A lot of plotlines were a tropey mess. It's pretty obvious that the writers wanted to give ML and FL scenes were ML heroically rescued FL, but it was done in such a clumsy manner. He would go away on a mission then randomly appear out of nowhere and catch her from falling. The plotline where she was buried alive was a cringe fest. Zhang Yan was a very minor character who completely disappeared from the plot after they returned each other's birth cards. Yet, the writers just randomly threw him back into the story to create romantic drama without actually thinking it through.
Some of the martial arts scenes were a bit silly. ML could jump on top of a tower as tall as a skyscraper to admire the moon with FL. But while running away from assassins, he couldn't jump over a river or over a gate.
The story started out well but it turned into a cliche mess of misunderstandings, mistrust, jealous side chicks, and awful behavior. Even after the trust issues were resolved, I couldn't get over the fact that FL tried to kill ML on their wedding night based on sketchy information. There are plenty of historical dramas with good character development and interesting plots. This drama is not it.

Out of the main cast(Ju Jing Yi, Zhang Zhe Han, Liu Yi Chang, Wang You Shuo, and Kiki Xu) I liked Ju Jing Yi's acting the best. I think she portrayed the female lead, Fu Rong perfectly. For once I did not blame the female lead for misjudging the male lead. I watched how Ju Jing Yi acted in The Legend of YunXi. If I were to compare her acting in these two dramas I would have to say, she was more experienced while acting in this drama. I also like how she sang of lot of the songs. My favorite song in Blooms At RuYi Pavilion is the song called "Ancient Painting". Out of the main characters(Fu Rong, Xu Jin, Xu Ping, Wu Bai Xi, and Fu Xuan) I liked Wu Bai Xi the best. I think he was very funny and caring. When he got his legs cut, he didn't want Fu Xuan to see him in pain. When it was hard to watch Fu Rong and Xu Jin in their cold war, Wu Bai Xi and Fu Xuan kept me going.
I actually felt very bad for Xu Ping in the end. All his efforts to revenge for his mother were in vain. His character kind of reminded me of Ou Yang Shou Gong from Swords of Legends (2014).
My favorite support character was either Gu Yuan(Ah Yuan) or Fu Guan(Guan Ge). Though Ah Yuan made many mistakes in the beginning of the story, she redeemed herself in the end of the story. Guan Ge just has to be mentioned! He's Fu Rong's brother. He is very adorable, even when he gets poisoned.
I can't wait to finish my plate of other dramas so I can rewatch The Blooms At RuYi Pavilion!

This drama was the second drama for the two lead. Storyline had many loopholes but was a decent watch. I really liked the actor/actress Zhang Zhe han and Ju Jing Yi . They make a very cute couple., but for their cute scenes together there is not much of and hardly any kissing scenes...
Storyline - The female lead is a cute, lovable, smart, quirky kinda girl, she is the second daughter of the Fu family. Male lead is the prince, who is good looking , loyal and a warrior. The summary talks about how the female lead gets visions /flashbacks about her future, but i felt the way it was done, didn't add any excitement to the drama, it just felt kinda odd like on the side. She didnt want to die young, and get buried alive.
The female lead has a teacher who teaches her about jewelry making, turns out the master has another identity which she uses her jewelry business to secret get info about other people and sells it, to make money? While the female lead was young she befriends An Wang, who is the male lead's uncle, but they are basically around the same age. He has a hidden resentment towards the male lead and blames the male lead for his mother's death. Thus he wants to take revenge and finds opportunities to kill the male lead. An wang isnt the only evil person. There is another prince who is evil and chimes in to get rid of the male lead. An Wang aka uncle likes the female lead, but his anger and revenge surpasses his love for her.... in the mean time her teacher dies and she tries to figure out what happened.
There were too many evil people in this drama , to a point i didnt even know who that person was lol turns out it was a prince...
The story behind An wang and his mother's death was kinda wonky... I mean you dont even tey to investigate and just blindly believe , the male lead accidentally set fire and killed yo mom ? The ending for his was the most ridiculous... He died to see his mother was still living... so pointless . He was so blinded by hate and revenge....
The story talked about both the female and male lead seeing dreams but , literally that was it. They kept it to each other and didnt even share it with each other. I though the dreams part of it would be implemented more into the drama, but felt it was separate.
Female lead and male lead relationship is cute, but i find that when something happens , she ALWAYS accuses him of being the culprit. I mean if you love him , shouldnt you trust him? why you gotta hurt my male lead ? And it always revolved around he li ( which is divorce) , They try to divorce each other like three times.... I would summarize their relationship as cute... misunderstanding,... wanting to get a divorce...... finally resolving the misunderstanding...
The female lead's sister and the general had a cuter story and cuter moments. It was really sweet and felt the chemistry. Their relationship was first bicker then slowly falling in love without any thing to hinder their relationship, just simple and sweet. While female and male pairing was also cute but not enough time together, and too many misunderstanding, and not enough passionate kisses, lol only peck on the lips.
But i loved the female lead's hairstyle and accessories she put on her head, and her makeup is absolutely on point!!!!

Fans of Yunxi gotta watch this... but even if u r not their fans, u’ll def luv their chemistry!
My highlights:1. The main couple’s chemistry r just what u expect... if u luv them in LOY, u’ll def luv them in this...
2. The casts r good... main couple for sure, the 2nd couple is cute, XuJin’s entourage r so loyal n even funny, Fu family r a warm loving family (really like the lil bro, he’s cute!) The villains r hateable, so I guess they r good... not a fan of the king though, he’s just not a wise one IMO, so quick to make a judgement and give punishment, and when he is wrong (which he almost always is), he just dismiss the case n make it not a big deal... I guess that’s ur right as a king? Liking how some casts from LOY made an appearance here n there...
3. Liking the OST and the costumes... I also like some references they made about LOY...
4. Storywise I like it a lot from begining till eps 28, since first angst happened in eps 29 (first wedding with
big misunderstanding)... but after the reconciliation in eps32-33 till the end, not a big fan of how things unfold... repeated mistakes r just annoying n to make that the major conflict is just not my fave part... n the divorce plot again n again? Not a fan how they make something like a divorce some kind of a play...
My list of things I wish had and hadn’t happened:
1. The “I hate u, u kill my father n we r now enemies” plot which dragged a few angsty eps... I wish instead FuRong & XuJin had an investigation together side by side to prove how he isn’t the killer and Ruyi’s Pavilion isn’t that bad organization... I hate how FuRong’s character repeated her mistake by not trusting her beloved Xu, she should’ve known by that time how he is as a person, n to think he kills her dad? Come on!
2. My main reason watching this is coz I wanna see the chems between the main leads... n yes the 2nd couple r cute, but since they r not the reason I watch this in the 1st place, I think the main couple deserved more romance near the end to kinda conclude their journey.... they deserve those moments! N so do we! Even LOY had more defining moments, even if it was sad near the end...
3. I wish there was a scene of XuJin visited Fu Residence and had interactions with FuRong’s whole family... He didn’t even visit them the whole drama! (unless if u count when FuRong’s father die in the funeral scene, which is one of the worst scenes IMO...)
4. I wish they had a proper wedding with a good kiss to end the drama...
5. That lightning thing? Don’t really get that part... don’t know why she had to die first then resurrected?
6. I wish the SML XuPing had a more important reason to be the main villain... IMO his reason is just so dumb! N how he kept claiming he likes FuRong but did everything that he did? I just hate him n I have no sympathy for him in anyway... he’s just a jealous delusional person who needs reason to hate XuJin, so he just assumed XuJin kills his mom n his hate goes on from that... plus FuRong (the girl he claims to like) is XuJin’s wife n in luv with her hubby, so he hates him more for that...
Anyway, overal a very enjoyable drama... I like it eventhough there were some unnecessary plots n too many angst! I guess C-drama is like that? at least it’s a happy ending, so there’s that... I hope we’ll get to see them together again in another historical or even modern drama, just luv their chems!
Waiting for that extra scenes in modern world impatiently... hoping they’ll release them also with the supposedly 8eps worth of deleted scenes... crossing my fingers!

Love it
I really enjoyed the blooms at Ruyi pavilion! It's one of those shows that you can binge watch. It's not like I need an excuse because I really enjoy actors Ju Jing Yi and Zhang Zhe Han shows.I personally wouldn't say this is was a typical historical Romance there is a lot of water that was added to this show but if you at least watch the series a couple of times you will really see the understory to this show. I would have liked to have seen a better ending for Xu Ping / Prince An (Liu Yi Chang) I get he had to play the half baddie but you can't help but to feel sorry for him.
I loved watching the little romance blossom between Wu Bai Qi [Little Marquis] (Wang You Shuo) and Fu Xuan (Kiki Xu), I would love another season or a completely new drama just so we can find out what happened because they are so cute..
This drama is a love triangle add in your bumps in the road, and getting drunk and you're happy typical Friday night.
Definitely don't judge a book by its cover I would definitely give this drama a go.. This drama is one of my favorites and is in my top 10 list..

Having no expectations as this was my first time watching costume drama and my 2nd C-drama
First of all, I haven't finished to watch Legend of Yunxi, and not planning too, so I have no expectations on this drama at allI gotta say that the chemistry of Female Lead and Male Lead were on fire, props to Ju Jingyi and Zhang Zhehan
It was so enjoyable to watch their chemistry despite how poor the writer's write the development between their relationship
Fu Rong's character was... I love her in the first ten episodes, okay maybe until before Liu Ruyi passed away, she was cute and endearing plus smart in the first 15 episodes, but after she get married with Xu Jin, she was so reckless, if it's not for Ju Jingyi, I don't think I would survive to watch this drama
Xu Jin or Duke Su character was kinda too good to be true, though I don't understand how or why he is falling in love with Fu Rong, perhaps it's because he is a righteous person and she always get dragged in a mess that haven't caused by her
I really love the relationship between Fu Rong and Xu Jin in the first 15 episodes, it was cute and light-hearted. But when they got married, it was kinda frustrating, sure they have some cute moments (esp when Cui Wan was between them) but most of the time it was pathetic since eps 28 until like half of eps 40, how could Fu Rong said to Fu Xuan that she and Xu Jin are in love but not acted like one, I mean they didn't trust each other enough. It feels like it's just Xu Jin who is in love with her but at the same times he didn't trust her enough
Xu Ping or Duke An, I don't really remember his character other than he was Fu Rong's childhood friend and he was obsessed with her, but at the same times if he is in love with Fu Rong, why would he let her marrying Xu Jin, let alone convincing the emperor to let them get married. I love him more in spin-off because he is cute there
Wu Bai Qi and Fu Xuan, well they're one package deal lol, it's hard not to mentioned them together, first of all, the reason I watch this drama is because of Kiki, and I ended up liking Wang Youshuo as well. Their relationship was the typical classic bad boy with some issues and sophisticated girl, I rarely watch dramas, let alone C-Drama, but I always love 2nd couple most of the time, and I gotta say that among all drama I've watch their relationship were the best written for 2nd couple. Not to mention the chemistry between Wang Youshuo and Kiki were also good. What I love the most about them are their mutual understanding and they always stand by each other side when one of them had their own breakdown.
I love the supporting characters especially the mothers Consort Shu and Madam Fu, the maids Lan Xiang and Bao Zhu, Xu Jin's right hands Ge Chuan and Xu Jia, Lord Fu and Fu Guan, also Guo Rui
For the villains, Consort Duan and her minions: Zhang Yao Chen, Xu Mao, Qi Zhu, attendant Chen. Also Qi Ce and Ding Peng
Well their motive as villains were not strong but they're annoying as f it was frustrating to watch them
Idk where to put Cui Wan, she was annoying as hell at first, but she always trust Xu Jin no matter what (things that Fu Rong kinda can not related at all), I'm glad she got her happy ending
OSTs for this drama were, chef's kiss
I really like 4 out of 5
Dream Crossing, Deep Feelings, Wish, and Ancient Painting
Ju Jingyi, Kiki, and Kong Xiaoyin really did well on their own perspective OST
And the BGM for this drama was also good
There are several plot holes, but honestly the drama was still enjoyable to watch
Would I rewatch the drama, well I still rewatching the drama but only for cute and interesting scenes

Terrible drama!
Don’t understand how this drama has a 8.1 rating. It was terrible. Was expecting so much more of ZZH and JJY coupling because they had built up a following from LoYX, but not even good chemistry can save whatever this drama is lolStuck it out until the end for the ML, he treated the FL so well. And then the FL was all over the place.
The ending was ridiculous with the lighting revival in the last 10 mins like wth?
Everything was going so well until episode 20. The story was completed lost after that. Not only was the script bad but the editing was odd. Overall, a disappointment, 4/10.
I do hope to see ZZH in more historical dramas, he looks so good in costume dramas haha and JJY’s (dubbed?) voice is lovely as well!

Obviously being cut, second lead syndrome, nice acting, but bad editing
This drama obvious being cut, i watch episode 1 dont understand what they playing forMy friend said this drama real episode 48 but for china version, and international version is 40, but i think maybe xxx wrong
What details to expect from the drama that from the start to the end there are lots of cutting scenes,, unstable audio dubbing
very difficult to judge ,, it's not that this film is not good but I really hate films that are cut or there are scenes that are not shown, in my opinion the essence of the drama is showing not imagining, and I also like the second lead couple
So many film crews, directors, producers, executive producers but the editing of the film from start to finish was very bad,
If you look at it correctly, you can easily notice that everything happened so suddenly, sometimes just discussed, without being shown
##MY QUESTION!!!
1. Why could Fu Rong worry about his dream? And think that her dream could come true?
2. What is Mr Dong doing in Jizhou and his relationship with Rebel Scholar?
3. Who wants to kill DUKE AN in his childhood?
4.why duke su can dream too?
5. from the start i just thought jushuinongfu just want to know about his mother die, but when his use ruyilou to revenge
Episode 1, what the meaning of the burning tower? Why furong very worried? It seems connection with his dream but he never dream before
Ep 3, suddenly wu qiubai being punished,,why duke su on xishan? ,,, when xiao ba saw wi che in "zui chun ge"?,,,, minute 7:22 fu rong,, I really can't figure out why she can jump down from the back, but she have to flip down from the front(when earing qi che and qin qing),,
Ep 5,,, qin qing suddenly suicide
Ep 6, the ridiculous is ruyi pavilion is a famous store, but why duke cheng cant find them,, at first they just mention "ruyi lou" so even isnt that they can say"cant find the ruyi organization, just a jewelry store,,, the morning mr ju shui still happy playing flip stone, but when fu rong know he is badmood?,,,,
Episode 7 ,, just 37 minutes ,obvious being cut, youtube have the complete one
Episode 8,,cutting too, youtube the full,,, do not understand the meaning of the edit, when "Ruyilou Leader" meets Mr. Dong ,, she wears a mask but the flashback shows,,, what the connection about 12 fans and mr dong? ,,,and the connection of rebel of scholar and mr dong
Ep 10, suddenly leave hongfu temple, suddenly get nightmare and not sure and not showing the nightmare,,,,And it seems her father disagree fu rong bring her brother to hong village, but why fu guan say his father said fu rong bring him out for widen knowledge
Ep 12,,, suddenly wen er ( duke su cousin) get his drug, even before liu ruyi tell to give the med to mr luo, lotus village,, and give it to mr dong, but just 1 drug, still have 1 drug not found,,, If indeed the sulfur and nitrogen are still in the cave, why should Duke Su only see the nitre fragment on the floor? ? not from the box?
Ep13,,,when ju shui nong fu and liu ruyi cooperation? ,I always thought they were cooperating because of his mother cause , not because of sulfur nitrit, or revenge ,,
Ep14, actually how long has been passed since the deal between liuruyi and duke an about sulfur and Nitre? ,,why from the conversation between shangkaiyang and his subordinate, mr liu guided shang kaiyang to the his position now, And said his first letter is requested a minor explosion, that mean Duke an already get the sulfur and nitre
Ep 16, 26:30 for what xiao ba asking about furong after furong go back from ji chang city? ,,There is no reason why her master known has been followed no sign at all,,,,
32:18 ,whose whispered voice came from?about his feeling,,,
Why all cast die is very suddenly, what happen with duke su and liuruyi?
Ep 23, gu yuan bring message to DUKE AN about Marquis xindu? From DUKE su manor?, even duke su himselft didnt who is the master mind
Ep 29, i think attendant chen is already escape from duke cheng assasin and duke cheng, consort duan didnt know, then VERY SUDDENLY SHE DIE!,
The emperor is fool , if want me to say even furong and duke su divorce , wan er family cant supporting duke su, because her father already dead,
Xiaoqi xiao ba shuddenly go back capital, and suddenly know about weiyang city
Ep 31, how and when zhang yan mother die? ,,,not showing, just see his father explode himself
Ep 38, did xu hao really begging for princess qing ping or just duke AN lie?

ugh disappointing
first do not compare to their previous drama and second do not watch right after lolexcuse me but wasn't this written by the same author as their previous drama they started in together?
so in a span of two years did the writer just get dumb or something cause i can't with this drama anymore...
Obviously this drama should not be compared to their previous project but this drama is just way more lower quality in writing then before it's so annoying.
First the Fu Rong is such a weak character...like we know the actress can play a strong witty smart character so why is she stuck playing this type of cliche female character??? it doesn't really make sense tbh
Also I love the second lead but like why did we get more FLxSML scenes than the FLxML??? Also why does he have to be the villain? lol they had no other characters for the villain so he was selected???
Not to hate but the actress who plays the princess is also super annoying and not cute at all lol they need to fix her make up...
The only pros are the second lead tbh; they're so cute! and they definitely look better together in this series than separately in the previous project.
11/28/23 Update - Dropped the series two times and came back to watch the last episode, which was very dramatic. Overall Legend of YunXi is way better!!!
