Now to talk about KitMing. I feel like they were executed pretty well considering how fast the other couples were going. I also think the actor that played out Ming did a goddamn good job, and if my research is right I think he's also the youngest one, too. He made me felt like he's been acting in many series and movies for many years. Kit actor was on the fence for me, he felt like he was missing something, but I could never pinpoint what it was. But this wasn't only him the other actor that did the character seemed like he was missing something too, but I still couldn't figure it out. Overall I think this couple was probably my favorite in this season.
Last but not least, Fourth&Beam, to be honest, I don't know how this would have turned out if the other actors that portrayed the relationship of the characters. But, nevertheless, I still felt like it was rushed. One thing I could say is that the other actors from season 1 did present the characters very well, but I'm not sure if they would execute the relationship well, that's just something I will never know. But this doesn't mean I'm bad-mouthing the actors now, their acting was somewhat pretty ok as well, I think not as good as the first one, but still pretty good. I feel like the problem was in the director and screenwriter(s) wanting to wrap things up quickly. Also to add to this, I feel like I was being very generous with my ratings.

The Best BL TV series for me!
I'm so addicted to this series. The first edition, 2 Moons, is good; but 2Moons2 is wayyyy better! I have been a believer of these six adorable kids and they have truly gone beyond despite all the hesitations of so many people who bashed them... They don't know what they are missing if they haven't seen this! The best!My favorite storyline would have to be PhaYo as Yo is a very relatable character. I also don't see Earth (Yo) as soft as the previous 2 Moons' Yo in spite the fact he wears pink and his room was girly. I just love him!

I have rewatched the whole thing as I skipped most of the forth/beam storyline on the first go; not sure why, they're great ;)
Initially I was a bit hesitant about the new cast, like most of us who watched the first production, but rest assured you needn't fear, just go in like it was a new show with a familiar story, they will grow on you big time. In my opinion it's mostly because they don't try to parrot the old cast, they managed to make the characters more or less their own.
On that note, the cast: Ming/Kit and Forth/Beam for me are best cast, their interactions for me are the most believable, and to me they match the books the best. Phana (Ben) for me does not match the feeling I got of him from reading the books, dork with a veneer of smooth-sexy idol, Ben lacks the presence that God has, hopefully he finds a way to fake it till he akes it on the next one! and Wayo (Earth) bless his young little cotton socks, needs to learn to move his shoulder independently from the rest of his upper body (that bugged me from day one).
I'll say the acting needs improving because, although there is undeniable chemistry among the pairings, there was a fair amount of the dialogue that felt stilted/forced, particularly the flirty bits. I say this keeping in mind I know the cast is really young and some of them might have very little experience with love/romance/sex, not to mention that if they are not gay, they have to overcome the emotions that go alongside putting your own sexual orientation in doubt for all the world to see, at an age where you're trying to find your place in world and figure yourself out; so brownie points to all of them regardless.
Overall, not half bad, definitely on my "rewatch when you're feeling blue" list, and I look forward to season 3.
(Btw, WTF! I was so not expecting a cliffhanger at the end!)

Loved it!
I loved this! I had watched a few episodes of 2 Moons more recently and saw that there was a 2 Moons 2 thinking that it was a sequel. When I found out that is was a remake I was a little unsure. I decided to just jump into 2 Moons 2 (the cast of the original 2 Moons have a show called Gen Y so I've just been watching that) and I LOVED it. If you've seen the original it might take a bit to get into the remake (b/c you are attached to the original actors or what not) but the cast in this one is great! I'd say give it a go. You can watch all the episode on the official Mello Thailand youtube channel (support the show by trying to stick with official links whenever possible). I'm so excited for 2 Moons 3 coming in 2021!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Esta resenha pode conter spoilers
Different from the first season (even with the exchange of actors, that this is zero news coming from Melon)This one had the developments of secondary couples and it was like a "remake" of the first, only more succeeded.
This time the character Bas was a little better along with Phana who was also better.
Secondary characters very well developed (different from the first)
The music literally sticks to the head and it's very hot to hear it while studying or doing something else
SPOILER:
+ Open finale for a third season (which has already been confirmed, but with the exchange of actors again).

I hope on the next season, the prod team would change their mind and replace Yo and Pha's character with someone better. Please!

Better Than Season 1
I know I'm echoing so many of the others, but I liked this far more. Better cast, better acting, the other couples got far more time as well. I know there is A LOT of issues with the series and the production company, as well as the actors, but overall this was far better. I stan Beam/Forth in this, good lord that couple needs their own series.I know this is not going to be a popular opinion but you could give 2 Moons a skip and just watch this one. Can't wait for the next season, especially if we are getting the same cast.

Much better than season 1
I was very reluctant to watch season 2 after realizing the entire cast is different from season 1. I am so happy I watched it. So much better. The acting, the story, everything is just much better. The story kind of goes over the same stuff as season 1, but in a much more concise and clear way. I also appreciated the special episodes before the actual ones, introducing the new cast and talking about the way they went about learning the characters. I am really looking forward to season 3 if it still includes all of season 2's cast.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
2 Moons... again?
I’ll admit, I was originally very skeptical of this series. Back when it was announced that 2 Moons was getting remade with a new cast I was not pleased. It’s funny to think that, back in 2017, the original 2 Moons was my favorite BL series. Looking back, it no longer is but this was a fun watch nonetheless.Frankly, the story isn’t particularly special. Though, I suppose there isn’t really other dramas that focus on the moons of each faculty. That aside, it’s a pretty standard college drama formula. Of course, like most Thai BLs, there are a few engineering students sprinkled in. Though there is something pleasantly pure about the long-time high school crush concept.
Wayo and Pha get a lot of flack, and while some of their drama is tedious, I think they had good chemistry and I really liked how they discuss boundaries and their overall approach to communication.
For most, Ming and Kit were the breakout couple, much like in the original 2 Moons. No doubt, they had great chemistry and Joong shined the brightest of the cast with sheer boyish charm. 2 Moons 2 (and 3) will not be the last we see of him, for sure.
Forth and Beam were also a nice couple, though they had little time to develop.
Will be interesting to see how they approach the next season, since we were left on a pretty large cliffhanger. I’m assuming a lot of drama is on the horizon but I’ll be excited to see what happens next.

However, after running out of BLs to watch, I gave this series a try. It was way above my expectations. I would personally recommend everyone to not watch the first series and just jump to the second one. This comes from the fact that the first series is packed nicely into the first 4 episodes of 2Moons 2, allowing us to understand the plot. This 4 episodes really helped me adjust to the new actors.
The new actors are great. Their acting is much better than the previous cast and their scenes aren't as awkward. They also portray their roles much better. The storyline wasn't very exciting, but it was better than the first series. The romance between Kit & Ming was so sweet. Forth & Beam were exciting to watch as well.
There was still room for improvement nonetheless. Just like a lot of other BLs, there were parts which could've been shortened or cut out. I once again had to keep skipping scenes that just seemed boring and insignificant. Nonetheless, I'm glad it ended off with a cliffhanger. Extremely excited for 2 Moons 3!
